Good venue for art shows. Lions had their inaugural art show here to fund raise for Flood recovery.

Ladies are very friendly. One lady remembered me by name from calling the day prior to ensure that they where open. Heaps of information inside on the local area.

Nice collection from the history of this little town. It was interesting to read the history and stories of the aboriginals from the area and how they fought for their land. The people at the front desk were very friendly and informative. We met with two of the old guys there who were the first surfers at yamba beaches and had their pictures on museum walls. They were nice to talk to. Thanks

So happy to have visited. Was searching for tourist information centre but Yamba has none! Great to view historical details of this wonderful area.

I was just passing through on my boat, but after reading all about the history of The Clarence River decided to stay for a couple of weeks to explore further upstream. Unfortunately modern development has overwhelmed the signs of a bygone age. It's good to remember how the First Australians lived here in harmony with the natural world.

If your coming to Yamba or returning go visit the museum to find out about all the historical events that put Yamba on the map! All ages, wheelchair accessible, $5 to keep the doors open! Run by volunteers who have all the local knowledge! Love the memorabilia, some very early pieces ive never seen in real life! Great surfing and surf life saving history too!
