Very unprofessional front staff, they book appointments without knowing anything about availability of Dr or nurse. We booked appointment on phone with full detail of our visit and then they confirmed booking again on email regarding the purpose of visiting. When we reach down there, receptionist said NO to service as Nurse does not work on that day. It happened twice with us.. not going anymore. Highly no recommended for regular visit.

I have been a regular at this clinic for the past 5 years and it is a terrific clinic. Recently, I have started to see Dr Latif regularly. He is one of the most caring and kind doctors I have had the pleasure of having. He really takes his time and patience to listen and understand your symptoms and always knows how to take appropriate action to help you. I am highly grateful for his professional experience & wide range of knowledge. I am so happy to have found him and I can’t imagine going to another doctor, he is truly genuine and one of a kind!

What a bad experience. I booked an appointment at 12:20 only be able to see the doctor at 1:20pm. It's quite fascinating that the consultation lasts less than 10 minutes and he had 3 people in front of me, and still he managed to be an hour late. When you walk into his "office", it looks like the cops were there 10 minutes ago searching for something, just a total mess. Which perfectly matches the personality of someone who's always late. I didn't get an apology so i figured it's something that happens quite often.

Dr Latif is hands down the best doctor I have been to. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns, is extremely knowledgeable and always professional. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients because he always answers questions and explains what is happening, so you leave feeling safe and comfortable with the treatment plan.

My family and I have been Dr MD Tariqqul Islam’s patients for over 7 years now and have followed him to My Doctors Clinic at Surfers Paradise.. Dr Islam is one the kindest doctors I have come across since moving to the Gold Coast.. he is always professional and listens to our concerns. He will go out of his way for his patients and genuinely cares. He is very gentle when performing clinical procedures and even though he is very busy with long waits sometimes, he will come and check in on us frequently during procedures. Thanks Dr Islam 👍🏻

The first receptionist I spoke to was rude and totally dismissive and I am completely dissatisfied with her service. I asked her if it was a requirement to wear a mask as the last few times I had been there was no requirement, she didn’t even look at me. Finally I was told that yes, it is a requirement. So I went to get one and when I got back luckily I was able to speak to the other lady who had a much nicer persona than the other lady. She actually looked at me and I asked her if I needed to check in when I first get here to see my doctor as the other receptionist made it seem like it was not needed and the nice receptionist checked me in. My biggest tip is to get rid of any receptionist that is as rude as the first, you will lose patients.

Absolutely the worst run doctors I have ever come across in Australia. Drs show up when they feel leaving patients waiting upto 2 hours before the Dr even arrives at 9am leaving the other doctors double booked compromising patient care. Receptionist has the worst attitude problem ever. She's rude and aggressive. I tried to tell her my complaint but she didn't care id fire her i a heart beat. Let's walk in people get seen before booked in patients. After waiting over a hour for my appointment I walked out without seeking the medical attention i was booked in for, I would of got seen at emergency department faster on a football Friday night. I arrived early and she had an issue couldn't even greet with a polite hello. Turning her back on other patients and answering their questions and concerns. Save your time and got to ed cause this doctors is not worth the wait time. Can I give a minus stars review because they don't deserve the even 1 star I'm forced to give.

I have been visiting this clinic for years and don't think I have had a single good encounter with the reception staff. They are all so rude to not only me but others who come in after me as well. Doctors are very helpful although they often run late. I will be changing doctors.

If you enjoy waiting 1-2 hours in a medical centre, this place is for you !! So, I’ve come back to give them another chance, as every time I come here after making an appointment, I end up waiting an hour+ and a couple of times 1.5hours + I’m still sitting here waiting more than one hour after my appointment time, and I was 10mins early I just don’t understand how a biz can get a simple process so wrong every single time ( probably a dozen times or more I’ve been here with the same result ) - why make appointments available if you can not stick to the most simplest of all processes, a booking !?! Why don’t you simply spread out your booking times ??? Do any staff hear ever look at the processes and procedures ?? Sitting here witnessing about 10 people all frustrated with the same issue I won’t be back.

Dr Latif is the best doctor I have ever seen to date and I am a 46 year old male. He is very kind and caring but also very sharp and is up to date with modern medical science. He has diagnosed the exact illnesses with me on multiple occasions and breathe and sleep easier after seeing him. I highly recommend this doctor and we are all lucky to have him helping us. The staff at this clinic are lovely. I had great service from two different doctors on my last two visits. There was a weirdo girl who was ranting on about she was going to keep giving them bad google reviews because the doctor wouldn't give her a script for the drug she wanted (think she was an addict) so she was really angry. The girsl at reception were very polite. I wouldn't be so patient like the receptionists were with nasty patients like her. the doctors are very kind in my experience.

Every time I visit here I'm happy and feel like I spoke with a therapist than just a doctor. I was consulting Dr Altaf Latif Ayyaril and he has been so supportive and understanding. Most welcoming staffs and everyone with ears to hear about your health and day to day stress too. I will recommend this place and mentioned practitioner for everyone.

Our kids became unwell on our holiday, this clinic was located close to our hotel. We had to visit the clinic twice for our kids and on both times we were seen within 20 minutes as a walk in patient. The receptions was very kind and helpful and the doctor was very thorough with checking the kids. Very happy with their service very old school!

Above rating means to be nil star. Just a few points that concludes my personal experience with this clinic : -Receptionist is lack of customer service. No greetings and the lady attempted to end conversation quickly. No time to listen . - Our assigned Dr was not very capable and caring to their patients ( at least for children) . We found our daughter had an extremely swollen hand on the Saturday afternoon. The clinic doc advised that this might be caused by insect bites. He then prescribed us some antibiotics and ointments for our little one . He also suggested to have an X-ray done just in case it might be bone fracture. He advised not required to seek for med assistance from hospital. As our kid was a bit unsettled and in pain very much later on . We thought it might be better off sending her to the nearest hospital ( GC UNI Hospital) for check up . The doc there told us that she has osteomyelitis (bone infection) caused by bacteria. It is common in kids under 3 yo and it could get very serious without an immediate treatments. Thank god we made the right decision to send her to the hospital. I would not say this clinic is incapable for everything but for the sake of your little one . Avoid this place at all cost. Get your kids for appropriate help.

I feel very fortunate to have met Dr. Latif, who is such a caring, professional and wise doctor. He has helped and supported me during my healing process, and for this I am very grateful 🙏 Admittedly the wait times at the clinic can sometimes run past the scheduled booking times (the doctors have a relatively short time allocated for each visit and usually to make a proper diagnosis the consultations can run over time) but I feel it is worth the wait, because once I am seen by the doctor I don't feel rushed and I am content that my needs are met professionally.

This Doctor is outstanding he young and update with current medical knowledge and very user friendly. I first met him when I had shingles and the only who could tell I had Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it was crucial I went to hospital straight after sewing him to prevent viral meningitis and after hospital after examination the doctors at hospital agreed with Dr Latif. He also had been very good with my son.

I’ve been there several times and always had an appointment with doctor Latif. Have no words to describe his professionalism, always proactive and prompt to help and find a solution. Take cares of you like no one else would. Highly recommend!!!

Doctor Islam has been my doctor for over 20 years. I am an 81 years old male, with very complex health needs. He has been thoroughly looking after me and due to his knowledge and quick acting I can say my life was extended for a many years. He treats me with courtesy and respect, he takes time to listen and analyse my complex health needs and always has acted appropriately and fast via referrals for scans, referrals for tests and referrals for specialist care. I can honestly say, hand on heart that, had it not been for his vast medical knowledge and appropriate and quick acting upon the first subtle signs and symptoms of my condition, I would have now been six foot under. Thank you doctor Islam for helping extended my life and for looking after me and keeping me independent still.

I have been going to this practice for several years as I live locally . During the past 3 years particularly the booking/ appointment service can only be described as atrocious . Wait apon wait - at times more than an hour even when you arrive 15 m early to ensure your own punctuality . I have provided feedback to the doctors that I have seen but the situation continues . This situation is a risk to the local community as it makes people feel like not going to see a GP due to the long wait times and poor excuses provided both by staff and the doctors themselves . The practice arrange 10 minute appointments to maximise revenue and of course resulting in the extended and unreasonable wait times that is just not acceptable . I have also had appointments first thing in the morning - only to be told by reception staff that the doctor has not arrived yet and that the reception staff have no idea what time they will be arriving as they keep their own time ! Their record keeping is also problematic with doctors not able to see clinical entries and notes, locate reports, medical history summaries when I have been going to this practice for over 10 years ! Time to go elsewhere !

The most disgusting clinic, Dr. Ma is the most unprofessional and irresponsible doctor I have ever seen. I just wanted to check whether I have antibodies or need to be vaccinated, but I was arranged to draw blood twice and see GP twice, but there was no result. Dr. Ma was very poor, blindly interpreted the blood test report, did not listen to what the patient said, and continued to recommend cervical cancer screening for me. As a result, he made a mistake in the blood drawing priscibation for the first time, and i was asked to draw blood again for the second time. The front desk receptionist of this clinic is very rude, completely devoid of any professional knowledge, and has a very poor attitude. you better do not go to this clinic. Dr Islam is a godsend. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. Great clinic, the wait isn't as long as other clinics in the area. Paris the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend for any locals. The wait to get a blood test is also fast which is great.

Dr Tariqul Islam is an amazing GP and Aesthetic Dr. I have been going to him for years, he is very thorough. He also did a wonderful job of my anti-wrinkle injections and lip filler! I am very happy with the results, lovely & natural.

If it wasn't for Dr Tariq I would never put up with this place. Reception never answer the phone and when they do are short and rude. I understand the place can be busy, but some polite manners go a long way! Ive been waiting on hold for 20 minutes! and this has happened multiple times.

Absolute joke of a clinic. Have bookings available in the AM and to get there and the receptionist say sorry this doctor is always late you’ll have to wait. Then to wait 45 minutes and the receptionist tell you that the doctor isn’t coming in anymore. Don’t make bookings available and then make us wait because of your incompetence of a doctor getting to the clinic on time or not show up at all. Receptionist was rude and needs a serious attitude adjustment. Talking to people like they’re children. Never ever again will I come to this clinic and I suggest everyone to do the same.

Dr. Tariqul is the best! We have been visiting him since we moved to the Gold Coast 3 years ago. He is extremely patient, caring, and listens to each of our concerns. He goes above and beyond, making suggestions to implement healthy habits in our lives. I had an iron infusion with him; he was very gentle, checked on me every 10 minutes, and made me feel comfortable all the time. We feel in excellent hands with him! The lady at the front desk is sweet, fast, and organized. She always looks after patients, finding last-minute appointment times, procedures to be done on the day. I went to this clinic today to see a doctor about pain I am having after a concussion that occurred 3 months ago and needed help as I was still worried why I am having pain. The Doctor I saw - Dr. Shakib Syed was absolutely a horrendous monster and should be ashamed of how he treated me. I asked about getting any possible scans to see if there was anything that can be seen that weren't caught by a previous CT scan- he instantly became rude, defensive, and aggressive, became condescending and agitated and asking me what I was trying to find and why I want to expose myself to radiation. I told him I had anxiety because the pain was still present and just wanted some piece of mind this will go away. He said in the world of medicine there is no peace of mind. Then he said to me "Patients like you are nightmare patients and make our job difficult" ....I was absolutely baffled. I told him I suffer from anxiety, and he became more aggressive and then said I didn’t care what he said I was probably just going to go to another doctor anyway. I told him it was not okay to talk to me like that, -he made a sneering face and continued to accuse me of not listening to him. It was completely bizarre and strange because I was listening to him and trying to clarify what he was saying ... I tried to explain as calmly as I could that I was there because I was in pain. He said "you can still eat, you can still talk, so there is no problem- it must be soft tissue and you can go see a dentist." This man is an absolute horrible monster and evil person and should not be able to see people. The way he acted was insane, he caused me to have a panic attack and i tried to be as nice and kind as possible telling him I was listening, and I had no idea why he was saying that. He continued to become argumentative, angry and aggressive. I left his office bewildered, my heart pounding and nearly in tears. I have PTSD which he should have on record, and I will be reporting this doctor to the Office of the Health Ombudsman and seeking legal guidance if anything can be done to report this "doctor" as dangerous and unhelpful.

Nurse Jodie and Dr Latif are two of the most remarkable health professionals I’ve ever seen! I had to take my very unwell nearly 2 yr old to the Surfers clinic whilst on holidays. When you book ahead of time, early in the morning and not have any communication from reception staff that your doctor is again running late, that’s pathetic business operation. I understand emergencies may happen, although the lack of communication to those who have taken time off work to go to the doctors to only be sat here WELL over the time expected to see the doctor is deplorable. When you book online and we’ll ahead of time, expect to wait there an hour longer than when you booked. This is not a on-off occurrence, this is their common practice…

every time I call I’m waiting 10+ minutes just to book an appointment. this morning when I called and requested an over the phone appointment since I have a blocked nose and incredibly sore throat and with how Covid literally lives in these GP offices I thought I’d reduce my own exposure. But the receptionist rudely said that it was only for people who have Covid and since have Covid like symptoms I’m required to do a RAT test before attending and I can’t have an over the phone appointment. So if they booked the over the phone appointment I’d literally be fine and not exposing myself plus I wouldn’t have to waste a RAT test. Whoever runs this medical centre really needs to revaluate the receptionist staff since they are the face of this business and they are incredibly inadequate and incompetent.

Go elsewhere, Absolutely useless. Personal experience. Every time you go it’s over an hour wait and it’s packed. Clearly not allowing enough time per patient. They obviously think there time is more important than mine. Everyone’s time is important! Simple fix……give yourself more time then you’ll have happy patients. I’m thinking money has something to do with this!!

The doctor Latif was wonderful, I had a great experience, he was on time, he understands me, and my medical condition. He has helped me greatly. Overall I had a good experience talking with Dr Latif. Reception was helpful, and friendly. Good practice for new patient's. Definitely recommend.

The doctor I saw was very unprofessional - he was dismissive of my medical issues and had no real intention of helping me . I booked a long appoint to explain my medication history / get a treatment plan started (they are usually 30 minutes in length ) however all he wanted to do was get me out the door ASAP . The history he took was extremely basic and within 5 minutes he was trying to show me the door . While I understand that most issues can’t be solved in a single appointment , patients are owed a duty of care by their doctors and in my case - that extremely low standard wasn’t met. The simple fact is that they were running an hour behind and were desperately trying to make up time. Cutting long appointments to 10 Minutes is in no way a “safe practise”’and instead puts us at greater risk - especially those of us who have long running health issues and require extra care. Due to this I will not be returning to this clinic and will instead seek help at a doctors clinic that takes patient’s welfare seriously

Doctor is always unless 1hour behind , one time the doctor went out and in a loud voice starts to discuss my diagnosis and treatment in front of everyone,that makes me very uncomfortable and is a clear violation of the privacy Act , receptionist don't care about you. After 4 years going there I decided to moved to another centre because the service is just not what you need when you sick

The management should be more selective of the staff they choose to represent this clinic. Walking in there and not even getting a hello and feeling like a burden is sad, from the reception to the laboratory blonde lady in there that was so rude. Some people are actually sick and they already having a hard time, ruining their day even more. We are paying costumers and we deserve to be respected and treated adlist nicely enough with a smile

I have been seeing Dr Islam now for the past 4 months.. I found Dr Islam to be the most caring Dr I have seen in a very long time. Attentive, caring and professional. He is a brilliant injector for anti wrinkle treatments. Best I’ve been to over the 20 years plus I have been receiving these kind of treatments.

Dr Latif is an angel I am a concrete steelfixer and formworker in the construction for 37 years.When I first saw him his warm genuine smile made me feel like someone cared without judgement. Title: Extremely Disappointed with Hot Doc Clinic and Dr. Shakib Syed Review: I visited the Hot Doc Clinic today seeking medical attention as I was feeling extremely sick and unable to stand on my feet. However, my experience at the clinic was nothing short of appalling. Not only was I charged a hefty fee of 50 dollars, but the treatment I received from Dr. Shakib Syed was utterly disrespectful and negligent. Upon entering the clinic, I was met with rudeness and indifference from the staff. Despite expressing my severe symptoms, Dr. Shakib Syed displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. He barely glanced at me, let alone conduct a thorough examination of my condition. To add insult to injury, he provided no medication or treatment plan to alleviate my suffering. It's deeply concerning that individuals like Dr. Shakib Syed are allowed to practice medicine, as his behavior clearly demonstrates a disregard for patient well-being. I expected to receive competent and compassionate care at Hot Doc Clinic, but instead, I left feeling even worse than when I arrived. I strongly urge the management of Hot Doc Clinic to reevaluate their hiring practices and ensure that only qualified, empathetic professionals are allowed to interact with patients. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect, especially when seeking medical assistance during times of illness. In conclusion, my experience at Hot Doc Clinic, particularly with Dr. Shakib Syed, was beyond disappointing. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering seeking medical care at this establishment.
