Overall,
we
had
a
great
experience
at
Artique
Resort.
On
arrival
we
were
greeted
by
friendly
receptionists
who
were
able
to
give
us
information
about
nearby
activities
and
attractions.
However,
to
enter
rooms
we
were
given
a
key,
unlike
other
hotels
and
resorts
that
had
a
card
entry
system
rather
than
a
key.
We
stayed
in
the
2
bedroom
superior
ocean
view
apartment
and
it
was
a
glorious
room.
The
room
was
spacious,
the
bedrooms
were
cosy
and
our
balcony
had
a
270
degree
view
of
the
gold
coast.
It
made
waking
up
in
the
morning
to
beaches
views
of
cavil
avenue
and
rivers
amazing.
The
resort
featured
a
swimming
pool,
jacuzzi,
steam
room,
sauna
and
gym.
The
swimming
pool
was
lovely
and
had
led
lights
that
lit
up
at
night.
The
jacuzzi
was
extremely
soothing
and
was
a
nice
way
to
unwind
after
and
adventurous
day
out.
The
steam
room
and
sauna
was
high
quality
and
much
enjoyed
by
my
family.
However,
a
problem
occurred
on
only
the
second
day
of
our
stay.
One
of
the
elevators
completely
stopped
working
and
had
to
be
put
under
maintenance.
As
the
resort
only
has
2
elevators,
there
was
only
one
in
use,
which
caused
absolutely
havoc
for
the
guests.
We
had
to
wait
at
least
5
minutes
every
time
the
lift
was
called,
and
sometimes
the
lift
would
be
so
full
that
we
couldn't
squeeze
in.
On
the
ground
floor,
there
was
lines
outside
the
lift
as
the
one
elevator
was
jam
packed
and
could
not
accommodate
the
hotel
guests.
We
were
continuously
asking
reception
when
it
would
be
fixed
and
they
never
had
an
answer.
Beware,
a
local
told
us
that
the
lift
gets
broken
almost
every
school
holidays
and
long
weekends,
so
please
keep
that
in
mind
when
planning
trip.
To
improve
this
hotel,
I
would
suggest
implementing
door
bells
in
the
rooms
due
to
a
personal
experience
of
mine.
It
was
mid
morning
and
I
went
outside
to
check
if
the
elevator
had
been
fixed
or
not.
The
door
slammed
behind
me
and
I
was
locked
out!
I
was
banging
on
the
door
but
no
one
could
here
me.
Due
to
this,
I
was
stuck
for
almost
2
hours!
If
a
doorbell
was
installed,
a
problem
like
this
wouldn't
have
occurred.
