My husband purchased a Casio G Shock watch, was told it was water resistance to 200 meters as it was completely sealed and came with 2 years warranty. Paid $345 , my husband is not a swimmer and removes his watch when showering.After 1 year the watch water got into the casing, we returned the watch, they said it would go back to Casio has it still had 1 year warranty and that it should never have happened. Instead they stuffed us around for 3 months with no calls to keep us up to date. We found out the watch was just sitting at the workshop, they did not fix it or offer any other solution. Stay away from Wallace Bishop Australia Fair. Go elsewhere

Purchased a diamond ring from these guys and after about 12 -18 months a diamond fell out. I went back to the store (About 3 months ago now) and was informed by the sales woman that there was no warranty on the ring which i thought was a bit strange. However when i started to politely ask why there was no warranty i was also told that rings were not meant to be worn on a daily basis and that what did i expect. Having now been to another jeweller to ask about repairs i now find that 2 more diamonds are broken and are likely to fall out. Also on a side note the i went to the other jeweller to get my ring rhodium plated where i was given a cost and a time of a week but as i was hoping to get it sooner he recommended i go to Crown Family Jeweller where again i was met with extremely arrogant staff who were not friendly and quite frankly stuck up. My advice to anyone would be avoid these people at all costs as clearly these guys use inferior quality diamonds and the workmanship is not up to scratch. From one very unsatisfied customer!!!!!

I asked for a quote for my vintage automatic watch. After 3 days i received a verbal quote. Asked for itemised quote to be emailed to me. After 3.5 weeks and 12 phone calls staff still refused to send itemised quote. I told them not to go ahead with service. Then i received a phone call stating that service had been done, and if i didnt pay the watch would be stripped back. They also stated that due to corrosion from the battery my watch had extensive damage. I had to tell staff at the chermside store that it was an automatic watch and they do not have batteries. This alone was a red flag, as well as the disgraceful service i would inform others to stay clear and do not allow them to handle any of your expensive watches as you are asking for trouble. I was finally told on 2 occasions that the boss would call.... Still waiting.... Never again

This is how a visit to the jewellers should be ! Just came from Wallace Bishop in Aust Fair a happy man. From the time you walk in your greeted nicely without the super sales woman pitch . I told her what I was looking for & I was shown impressive jewellery without the $$$ tag. Thanks Natalie I will return .

So, my mother buy a watch from here. She not technically savvy at all. The watch did not even come with an instruction boon. Even I have no idea how to set it. The staff does not even know how to work it as well. Saying the excuse "customer buy this and search in Google how to do it ".... Place was extremely quiet and have time of the world to help her. Chose not to at all. Customer service these days

Went into crown family jewellers after going into several other jewellers and the staff were amazing, Leonie the store manager was great she understood exactly what i wanted and together we designed my engagement ring which turned out better than what i could have ever imagined.Their quality of diamonds are at a high standard as they explained the clarity and colour which no other jeweller did. Leonie and the team where outstanding to deal with and i would highly recommend them and will only ever go to them.

Horrible customer service, I was sold an item that did not have the features it was supposed to when I bought it and I could not get a refund! Buyer Beware, plenty of other stores around don't risk it!

BEWARE. Staff at Chermside are extremely arrogant and rude. I was spoken to on the phone in such a manner it made me feel like a naughty kid. And then I am accused of being rude because I say I don't like the way I'm being spoken to? No wonder I was so upset. I was also told by a staff member how "unbelievable" I was. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR RETURN.

I went there at 9am, they were still not open. When I asked do they resize rings they said " you will have to come back we are not open yet" so I waited, 9.10am, still opening up. One of the staff said that it was dangerous that I was in the shop as they had still not opened up and was not friendly at all. Eventually I asked can they resize my ring. One of the staff said " There is no way anyone would resize it it's far too big , you will have to take it back. I thought at least they would congratulate me even on my engement. Nothing. I felt so uncomfortable and did not feel welcome one little bit. I never usually write reviews unless I have positive feedback but this was terrible ... I then took it to another jewelers who were so friendly from the start and said " Yes not a problem we can do it for you today"!

Such lovely ladies took my 25.00 earring in that I bought few months ago . Small purchase but treated like valued customer no mater price. All fixed . I'll beback

Some unfair reviews here in my opinion - understandable in a way - I guess since people are paying a lot they tend to expect the world and more, but I thought I'd offer my experiences: excellent customer service, helped me find what I needed with minimal hassle and the ladies were very polite, down-to-earth, honest and understanding!

The store had great customer service. The staff were super nice and helpful, would purchase from Wallace Bishop again.

Worked in the industry for many years, however, would highly recommend Crown Family Jewellers for their exquisite special pieces and also their wonderful way of making you feel as though you are the most important person in the world. Anyone can buy jewellery. But this is a very special experience, the difference is quite remarkable. Thank you for making their special day “extraordinary”.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Michael Hill for a quote/estimate on how much it would cost to re-set my black sapphire and diamond gold ring as one of the clasps had bent and the sapphire fell out. The woman asked if I bought the ring from them originally and then inspected the ring and told me that because it didn’t have a Michael Hill stamp on it that they wouldn’t help me..she was quite stand-offish and it wasn’t a pleasant experience.. she came across as though unless I was there to spend thousands of dollars on their jewellery she didn’t want to give me the time of day.. That same day I went to Wallace Bishop to see if they would help. The lady there looked at the ring and went through a book quoting different things they would need to do to fix it and estimated between $700-900 for them to fix it. I told her the ring was bought for less than half that so why would I pay that much.. At that point I gave up and went home. Today I decided to try again with a different store and asked Crown Jewellers if they could help me. The lady was very nice and she took the ring out the back to ask the jeweller and when she came back out the clasp had been repaired and she told me it was free of charge. Really happy with the service provided and I will certainly be back next time I want to buy any jewellery! It both amazes and angers me how much I could have been ripped off had I accepted the original quote from the other store.. Thank you Crown Jewellers for being decent helpful honest and friendly!

With the amazing help of Karen from the Chermside store, we designed and perfected an engagement ring which I used as to propose to my now fiancé (Tim) on Christmas Eve. Karen’s help was awesome and she could visualise the ring I had pictured, the final result was far beyond my expectations! I went to several jewellers, before choosing Crown to make my ring. Carolyn and Leonie listened to what I wanted and allowed me to make changes, twice, with undiminished enthusiasm and helpfulness. My ring is absolutely perfect, as was the service I received.

Brought a locket in to get repaired. Ask for a quote on the locket. Got a text message a few days later saying it was repaired. When I went in to collect I was told it wasn’t repaired it was unrepairable. Same day I took it to another jewellers and they fixed it. Customer service is very unsatisfactory and both times met with arrogant staff.

Purchased a diamond ring from them and after a few months the wife notice a couple of diamonds had fallen out. Went back to the store only to be told by the staff "You are not meant to wear them every day". The service and the attitude of the staff was nothing short of disgracefull and i will never set foot in this store again.

The staff at the Chermside store are extremely rude and condescending. The stock on hand is limited and what they do have is incredibly over priced. There are plenty of other jewellers in the centre with pleasant staff and reasonably priced stock. Make sure you look elsewhere.

My favourite Jewellers and besties Assistants Mel and Larissa give me the most attentive services and with the biggest smiles and personas that anyone would love to have when shopping in Wallace Bishop Australia Fair I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for all my jewellery requirements and the very best prices in town

I got this necklace and when I was leaving in my car the chain immediately broke and I'm returning it for a new one so I don't think my first time at wallace bishop was the best at all. And the necklace was my birthday present now its a broken chain with a pendant. 😐👎
