Had an amazing time at Ladybird! The service was impeccable, gave amazing recommendations and couldn’t have been kinder. The food was delicious. The menu had so much to offer, it made it hard to choose. Will definitely be back!

An exceptional dining experience. Although we were recommended, we were still both excited and amazed by the choices, the quality, and the service. Roll-ups? SHUT UP! One of the most exciting dishes we've ever tried! So much flavour in that little package. I could describe all the dishes we tried, but then what's left for you?? So thankful for a great dining experience.

Went for the mothers day dinner, overall a fun night, just a few things to work on. Food: The special mothers day menu looked great, plenty of choices for everyone. Everyone who had the scallops said they were perfect, fillet of beef and lamb were also awesome. Oysters were fresh and large. Calamari with the truffle aioli was delicious. Unfortunately the pork belly was quite bland and tough, I've had crispy porkbelly at a few other places, usually sliced thinner, marinated or cooked a certain way so that it was crispy and melted in your mouth. This was not that at all. I wouldn't order it again and wish I had ordered the lamb instead. My husband tried some of my pork as and said the same thing, as did my mom. Service: The servers were nice, but they didn't provide you with steak knives for the steaks or pork belly (which definitely needed it). Service seemed a little messy, I used to be a server at the Four Seasons and Hyatt Regency and ladies would always be served first... especially being mothers day, our mother should've been served first. We also kept an eye on waters and kept them topped up, but not here. There was no pepper or salt on the table, fresh cracked pepper wasn't offered. For a $100 pp menu (not including drinks) you would think service would be a little more refined and professional. Cocktails and wine were on point. And the wrapped bottle of sparkling wine gift for each mother was a nice little touch. Next time I might like to try their regular menu and see how they go. Apparently this restaurant is not a part of the Versace hotel, it is a separate business, even though it's the same building, which I didn't know.

Amazing location and atmosphere here at Ladybird. From the moment we sat down our waiter Fraser had us enjoying ourselves. We tried just about everything on the starter menu including Thai Garlic Bread, Duck BAO, Prawn BAO, Pork Gyoza, Spring Rolls, Tempura Prawns and amazing Roll-Ups with Grilled Prawn and Crab Aioli WOW! Thoroughly recommend Ladybird for anyone that lives or visits the Gold Coast 🙏

What a fantastic dining experience and one of the best in a long time. Our host Tiaine was fabulous, service with a smile! Great variety on the menu. We ordered entrees and mains, expecting to have dessert after. The prawns were entrees but could easily be a main elsewhere. For mains we had the pork belly and the generous portions resulted in us skipping dessert. We'll have to come back for dessert! The 3 sides special is a great idea, again with generous servings. Thank you Ladybird for the exceptional service and meals. We highly recommend Ladybird whether for a family gathering or that special occasion with your loved one.

Why can't I pick 10 stars?? This restaurant is amazing and without doubt the best on the Coast. We've enjoyed Palette and most of the other fine dining restaurants on the Coast but Ladybird beats them all with flavor, quality, service and atmosphere. Located outside the former Versace hotel near Marina Mirage, across the road from the Sheraton Hotel, this is my number one recommendation for superb delicious well presented food, and the prices are just right for this quality and the premium waterfront location. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced and excellent quality. Everything is wonderful but the duck spring rolls are out of this world with superb flavor, texture and freshness. I'm not normally a fan of spring rolls but these are worth every cent, and I doubt I'll ever experience anything better. But I love everything here and truly believe their shared salmon dish is the ultimate salmon meal. OMG, the flavours are superb. This could very well be the best restaurant in Australia. 10 golden stars!!

This restaurant offers fantastic food with river views. We ordered the slow-cooked chargrilled Angus short-rib, seared scallop and pork belly and the chargrilled king prawn. Service was top notch as was the food and views. Highly recommend this restaurant.

It sounds boring but after having lunch there; we actually went back to the Ladybird Restaurant and Bar for dinner and cancelled our original plans for dinner as it was so absolutely amazing for lunch! Not only the delicious food but the service and staff were fantastic! A definite 10/10! I wish there was one closer to home! If you are in the area; you are missing out if you don't go there!

We came her for dinner on a quiet Sunday night, the atmosphere was lovely, nice music, soft lighting. Service was prompt from great staff and the food was delicious. I had scallops for entree- so soft and delicious, the duck and chicken curry with forbidden rice for main and I just loved it. The lemongrass Pana cotta for dessert was also a winner. There is a cool breeze from the water so wear something warm in winter despite sitting inside.

Food, wine and everything fine ❤ everything about lady bird is absolutely perfect! The entrees, mains and desserts were all delicious and created by stellar chefs. I am a vegan myself and found the plant based menu extremely generous in portion sizes, so affordable and delicious! Had the mushrooms, sticky tofu, noodle stir-fry dish, and that dreamy sweet potato salad that I couldn't get enough of. Cocktails we're heavenly, I loved the blue dragon, mojito and many of the others that I so graciously indulged in. Was the perfect venue for easter with the family.

We came here for the first time for our anniversary. I must say wow!!! The setting and location to the friendly caring staff and the delicious amazing food! We will definitely be coming back! Oh and the cocktails were incredible! Loved the beautiful touch of the complimentry glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! We want wait to come back <3

It's not easy to find a place that takes advantage of the location/atmosphere AND has great food and service. But the Ladybird does! Fantastic service by our host. Our waiter Gigi was also very polite, professional and did a wonderful job! My partner was extremely happy with the Miso Barramundi, however it is overpriced at $48. I was satisfied with my Duck Curry. Generous portions and good curry sauce. Well priced...it's definitely better value than the Miso Barramundi. The fries could have had more seasoning. Spring Rolls definitely were NOT store bought and were lovely. Pricing is unfortunately only the higher side. We were here on a special occasion and the staff definitely went the extra mile for us which was appreciated! Only other pointer I have is, this is a classy place, but it's not intimidating with their food and service. Please... please don't play random pop music like maroon 5. It spoils the ambiance a bit. I'd suggest a playlist like Café del Mär or some ambient lounge music to make it a bit classier/chill without being more intimidating.

Don’t think I could complain about this beautiful place, I had a really good experience the service was absolutely amazing, the food was beyond expression of words. Drinks & cocktails are lovley! I had the crispy prawns, and BBQ beef with the Asian salad and it was so beautiful such unique and amazing flavours that make you want more. I did also get the cheeseboard wasn’t a fan of the cheddar- didn’t taste or seem like cheddar, but other than that it was all still delicious. Would 100% recommend for a good night out and it is reasonably priced.

Great hospitality and amazing views. The food presentation and flavours was sensational, not to mention the desserts! Heavy on the wallet but If you want to celebrate a special day, Ladybird is a great choice. Went in the middle of the week which was nice as it was not busy. Overall wonders place and would go again!

Dined for dinner, we shared the crispy pork gyoza, pork bao, rice paper spring rolls, prawn roll ups, lamb shoulder & Japanese fried rice. I also had a straight outta saigon cocktail. All the food & drinks were tasty. Special mention to our waiter Roman who provided the best service & made our evening enjoyable.

We had a fabulous Melbourne Cup luncheon. Efficient service, Great food and surrounded by a beautiful Marina view. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing every time we have a dining here. The Beef carpaccio is my favorite. And Hokkaido scallops are so tasty.Slow cook lamb shoulder Is strongly my recommendation.

Fresh ingredients and some unique flavour combos. Everything we ate was awesome and it's nice to have a view of the marina while eating. Would definitely recommend!

Lady Bird on the Gold Coast is a really great place to grab a meal. The cheesy garlic bread was awesome - a must-try for sure. Also, the scallops, gyozas, and duck bao were delicious and super flavorful. The main dishes like the bolognese and kung pao chicken were really tasty, and the black fried rice was a nice surprise. But what really stands out? The fries with truffle sauce. They were epic. All in all, if you're looking for some good food, Lady Bird is definitely worth a visit.

Freaking amazing. Service. Staff. Food. One of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in a long time. We had oysters 3 ways (hot) all succulent and cooked to perfection Lamb shank with meat falling off the bone so tender. Duck fat potatoes with a side of broccolini in a hoisin sauce. Dessert we tried all 4. My favourite was the brûlée, served as a warm custard with the crunchy top. Impeccable! I won’t go back to the traditional way. Lychee Martini do yourself a favour and have at least one, I’m sure you won’t be able to control yourself and will have several.

Our first time dining here and we loved it!!! The food was exceptional and also really fast! Tiarne was our waiter, 5 stars for her. She was friendly and gave great recommendations 🥰 looking forward to next time!

Fantastic experience. Great view on outside seating. It is wonderful to be welcomed with all staff friendly and confident. The food is exceptional and the oysters need a special mention. It was also great to enjoy those finer touches like a birthday acknowledgment. Well done team! We will be back!

We came here for dinner with friends. We had such a great time! We had the oyster platters, some shared plates and desserts. The flavours were all verry exciting and very tasty. As recommended by many, we tried the roll ups. They were so delicious and I could have 10 more! The view was perfect! we had some of the margaritas whilst watching the sun go down. The staff were very nice and friendly. We didn't feel rushed. Overall, we had a great time. To the team of Ladybird restaurant and bar, thank you for looking after us.

By the time we got there, the restaurant was full. We were probably the largest group there as we were celebrating a birthday. After our meal a staff member brought the cake to the table, and started us off with the 'happy birthday' song, When we finished the same gentleman did the 'hip, hip' bit. He was so helpful thought the night that at the end of the evening we felt as though we'd known him all our life. Throughout the night he, and other members of the staff, were quick to refill the empty glass, take away the empty dish, or bring us something a guest asked for. We all agreed that it had been a night we'd remember for a long, long time.

Lovely food and tasty drinks!! The team was charming - Our waiter Vas from Holland was an excellent host and had good chat without being intrusive. I had the chicken - spicy just the right amount of heat from the Szechuan pepper and my partner had the slow cooked lamp shoulder which was to die for. Great atmosphere and charm all around - thank you for a lovely evening team.

We had a few shared plates and curry ducks as our main meal, washed down with a glass of French rosè. For dessert, we had creme brulee with coffee. The outdoor seating with the marina view is a bonus. Overall, thumbs up for a good meal and customer service. The quiet ambience made it easy to have a conversation.

Love this place ! ❤️ From the service before I got there directing me into the building. To waitstaff. The food was 10/10 Cocktails 10/10. My new favourite Asian restaurant on the gc. I will be back asap and highly recommend this place to everyone I know.

Loved it! The staff were attentive and provided service with a smile. Location is fabulous with water views. The food was simply amazing. Instead of mains we ordered several tapas to try and as well as oysters and the food was inspiring and full of flavour. Cocktails were also beautiful and tasty. Great experience overall!

The welcoming reception is exciting, with the best service from sophisticated waiters and the best cocktails on the Gold Coast. The appetizer is also Asian fusion and very delicious. The way the steak was grilled was also perfect. I don't know of any other place where you can enjoy meals with the same quality no matter how many times you go.
