Super friendly staff and a super clean hotel right off the bat. The location was so convenient and close to everything in town and Surfers paradise. As you can see in the pictures there is a Tram line just outside which is another huge plus to the place. Communal areas were cool and if it wasn’t in Covid would have been a vibe. Super affordable as well I recommend booking through their direct phone as it’s the best price! Also definitely has hostel vibes but honestly an awesome experience.

I stayed almost 1,5 month in this lovely place. I feel like home and people were open-minded and amiable. The owner is respectful and does it best everyday. I really appreciated the fact that we have beds not bunk. Also, having our own bedroom is a perk because we don't need to share with people you don't know personally and as far as I am concerned I was feeling super safe. Their location is 50 metres from the tram. This was one of the best hostel on the Gold Coast.

Rooms, quiet clean, tidy, and comfy. The kitchen is clean, and there are plenty of stoves, and it has a complete set Services, I got the best manager ever only here. He's kind and friendly. The location is pretty strategic, near to the tram station, bus stop, and shopping center (Australian Fair). I've been here for almost half a year, and I feel like this is my home in Australia, I met good people here, and I love it

Overall, a good hostel in comparison with the majority of similar structures. Despite the manager is working hard for mantaining the place clean and make everyone respect the rules, there are some guys/girls/ghosts - a small minority - that cannot stop to dirty and soil everything. The results of those misbehaviors have to be found in some of the toilets' and kitchen's grime. However, the manager is very kind, and always keen to help in every situation, although he could not force guests to get a bath or to understand the basic rules of civilized life. In this vein, I reccomend the corridors of this structure for the R+I Department of Channel: all the efforts to cover the smell seems to be failing.

That is why you couldn’t check in. Marcus guy, you weren’t even here. Stop writing false reviews. I came back here to stay because it’s great. So handy for shopping, right in front of two tram stations (easy access to Surfers Paradise) etc. Most of all, the owners/managers are so good to us. Highly recommended for anyone (family, couple, business trip, backpackers). Definitely NO DRUGS at this premises. It is very safe. My son loved staying here as well. I thank Andrew and Bill for everything during my stay. Great work guys!!

Great stay for work. Nice chair and desk to work on. Everything close by to grab a bite. Easy check-in. Had a laundry to use. Clean bathroom and toilets. Nice and quiet place.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Very quiet place, common areas locked up at night. Lots of potential. Easy check-in process. Comfortable beds. Pity no efpos was available as they were only starting up. Not a real worry as most major banks are only a short stroll down the street.

i've been in this place 9 months ago and unfortunately it wasn't a good place, i took a shared room where there were two boys sleeping in the room, the room was stinky and they weren't suitable for sharing a room with anyone, plus the room was a mess . We had to change rooms and pay for it, that wasn't the problem, but we could have been offered another room due to this situation. the master bedroom was dusty, where I got a bad allergy and spent the rest of my trip sick. pluses the bathroom is clean and the place is quiet.

Good Location, It is a clean place, friendly staff. Good value for money. Definitely would come back! Went during winter so the pool was not available but was so cold and windy so would not have used it anyway! Parking available!

This is the cleanest and most comfortable hotel of this type I have ever stayed in. The staff are very serious, responsible and humorous. The public facilities here are updated in time, so when I use some facilities such as tableware, TV and sofa, they are all good items. This is a great value-for-money experience.

This has to be the worst place I have stayed EVER. The overweight and grumpy lazy manager pushes you to pay cash and if you don’t? He lies and says no rooms are available. When you show him proof it is, he starts swearing and carrying on like a child. The hostel is extremely dirty, messy and my friends car was stolen and I was robbed of $500 worth of goods. Stay clear away folks! You can get beautiful places in Surfers for less!! Far superior options.

I stayed here for a month with my boyfriend and we had the best experience. The place is very clean but affordable. It has a free car park and the place is right in front of a tram station so it’s convenient for both who have cars and who don’t. It has a secured private room with little distraction so you get to have your own privacy. Yet, people staying here are very open minded, welcoming and friendly so it is suitable for all kinds of people who prefer to have their own privacy as well as those are willing to make friends. Laundry is included on the rent (they also provide detergents if you don’t have one!!) and you get to use basic cooking equipments as well as basic seasonings. We’ll definitely come back to this place next time visiting Gold Coast. Highly recommended!

Spent an amazing 7 weeks here, absolutely lovely people, rooms, lounge areas, outside area and kitchen and so close to the tram station. Felt like home away from home, definitely recommend homely inn :)
