I am very lucky to purchase a Hublot big bang integral ceramic from Monards Surfers Paradise Gold Coast in late June this year when I travelled to Gold Coast for a short trip. Initially I went to Rolex in Pacific Fair however they advised they do not have watches for sale. (Alright :( ) Later I tried my luck to Monards Surfers Paradise and the experience was fantastic and totally different from Rolex. Special thanks to River who is very helpful and showed us all the popular watches from different brands. She is very friendly and patient. Finally the Hublot ceramic integral really caught my eyes and I have now wearing it for two months and everything works very well. I am a very satisfied customer. I have dealt with Monards Gold Coast in the past, but only via text and calls, i bought a Tudor (BB58) and an OEM strap from Wing a while back, my wife and I visited the Gold Coast to watch the Supercar 500 this year so we popped into the store on the Friday, at first we spoke with Rene, he was very knowledgable and had a real passions for watches, telling us about his fathers watch, we shared stories about similar watches we had and aspired toward, I tried on a few Breguets and some Omegas, Wing soon arrived and was please to put a face to the name from our previous acquisitions, there was never any pressure to buy just a great enthusiasts shared passion for watch collecting, as we were preparing to leave, Wing mentioned a Frederique Constant watch that was similarly spec'd to a Tudor Royal I had enquired about, the watch was slightly less money, had COSC certification and in my opinion was better looking, Wing told me about the family that started the company and that it was now owned by a larger group, the whole history, as he'd realised from our earlier chats that such information matters to me, as soon as the watch landed on my wrist I knew I wanted it to stay there so i ended up buying it, Renee then took me to try on some Blancpains while Wing sized the bracelet up there and then, taking time to orientate the clasp in the position I preferred. All in all the experience was impeccable and thoroughly enjoyable, the one down side is that my wife has now been on their website and also wants a Frederique Constant, let's hope she doesn't read this and ruin the surprise... I'm gonna Call Wing and sort that out later this month.

I’ve just had the pleasure of purchasing a beautiful new Tudor from here through Rene, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The store itself is immaculate and if you appreciate watches as much as I do, you’ll find this place akin to Disney Land. Just Picked up my Tudor Black Bay GMT. This is a very difficult watch to get as there is a waitlist. Rene is an amazing guy who likes to look after locals and promised me he would do his very best to secure me the watch that I've wanted for years. It was worth the wait! Had such a lovely experience at Monards Gold Coast! Was looking for a watch for my birthday and was not disappointed by Monards - such friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I was treated very well by Wing (boutique manager), who at all times was very patient, answered all my questions, and was integral in helping me decide between a shortlist of watches. I was initially worried that Gold Coast stock wouldn't be as extensive as Melbourne or Sydney, but Wing had a huge selection of high horology pieces and exactly the watch I was looking for. After a couple visits I walked out with a Blancpain FF Bathyscaphe that I had wanted for years. Very happy with my purchase, and very happy with my experience with Wing and his team. It was great to browse, take my time, and know that I wasn't being rushed into a purchase. ...just wish I could visit every year on my birthday to select a new piece from Monards. I have been shopping for my first automatic luxury watch in Sydney. After visiting quite a few stores in Sydney, I also decided to pay Monards a visit while holidaying at the Gold coast. Wing, the store manager, called me on a Tuesday evening at 5.40 pm to return my query regarding a particular brand that I was interested in. Given the store was closing in 20 mins, I asked Wing if he could keep the store open as I could make the dash in the next 10 mins, which I did. I was obviously feeling a bit rushed and thought I may not be able to make a decision on a watch in 10 minutes. And this is where Wing was fantastic. He completely removed the 'time pressure' from the situation and put me and my family at ease. We looked at several brands while we were there and Wing provided plenty of information to help us make an informed decision. Wing also provided us with the history of the brand and answered all questions I had, including some knowledge on what to look for in a good watch. As I walked into the store, at 5.50 pm, I was not even thinking about getting one given the time pressure. And 45 mins later, I ended up walking out with a beautiful watch that I had not considered before. All this would not have been possible without Wing's professionalism, knowledge and the care he demonstrated. I will be definitely visiting Monards agains the next time in GC, to say hi to Wing and possibly look at another watch :). Thank you Wing. You are awesome!

I called in to the Surfers Paradise Boutique to collect my Vacheron Constantine which had just been serviced. It is always a pleasure to catch up with Wing and his team - such a friendly team; very well known in the watch community for their knowledge and amazing customer service. While I was there, Wing helped me choose a Montblanc pen for my sister’s birthday. She absolutely loves it. I am a very satisfied customer.

Just purchased my 3rd watch from Mondards Gold Coast. The watch I selected was't available in store, but was promptly sourced from another location. It was also enjoyable to try other watches for a future potential purchase while having interesting discussion about different brands with the store manager. Visited the store recently (Thursday 26 May 2022) to have a quick browse to fill up some time whilst waiting to meet up with some friends on a trip up from Adelaide, South Australia. Was quite surprised to see they kept my favourite jeweler, Chaumet as I was looking for another brand. River was the SA in store that day, and she was very helpful! On entering the store she immediately offered my a refreshment and asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular. Her service was attentive, genuine and professional without being overbearing and judgmental as some staff at "Luxury" boutiques can be. Overall really happy with my time in store and most importantly my purchase. Thank you River, I hope to see you next time I'm on the Gold Coast.
