I
have
dealt
with
Monards
Gold
Coast
in
the
past,
but
only
via
text
and
calls,
i
bought
a
Tudor
(BB58)
and
an
OEM
strap
from
Wing
a
while
back,
my
wife
and
I
visited
the
Gold
Coast
to
watch
the
Supercar
500
this
year
so
we
popped
into
the
store
on
the
Friday,
at
first
we
spoke
with
Rene,
he
was
very
knowledgable
and
had
a
real
passions
for
watches,
telling
us
about
his
fathers
watch,
we
shared
stories
about
similar
watches
we
had
and
aspired
toward,
I
tried
on
a
few
Breguets
and
some
Omegas,
Wing
soon
arrived
and
was
please
to
put
a
face
to
the
name
from
our
previous
acquisitions,
there
was
never
any
pressure
to
buy
just
a
great
enthusiasts
shared
passion
for
watch
collecting,
as
we
were
preparing
to
leave,
Wing
mentioned
a
Frederique
Constant
watch
that
was
similarly
spec'd
to
a
Tudor
Royal
I
had
enquired
about,
the
watch
was
slightly
less
money,
had
COSC
certification
and
in
my
opinion
was
better
looking,
Wing
told
me
about
the
family
that
started
the
company
and
that
it
was
now
owned
by
a
larger
group,
the
whole
history,
as
he'd
realised
from
our
earlier
chats
that
such
information
matters
to
me,
as
soon
as
the
watch
landed
on
my
wrist
I
knew
I
wanted
it
to
stay
there
so
i
ended
up
buying
it,
Renee
then
took
me
to
try
on
some
Blancpains
while
Wing
sized
the
bracelet
up
there
and
then,
taking
time
to
orientate
the
clasp
in
the
position
I
preferred.
All
in
all
the
experience
was
impeccable
and
thoroughly
enjoyable,
the
one
down
side
is
that
my
wife
has
now
been
on
their
website
and
also
wants
a
Frederique
Constant,
let's
hope
she
doesn't
read
this
and
ruin
the
surprise...
I'm
gonna
Call
Wing
and
sort
that
out
later
this
month.
