Stopped in for a quick lunch. Quaint shop with a very relaxed vibe. I had a nice coffee but their sandwich was absolutely perfect from the texture of the bread to the combination of flavors. I will absolutely come back when in the area. Highly recommend.

Here's what you need to know: (1) it's a cheese factory, and the cheese sample platters are the highlights of the menu, and (2) they don't sell wine, so bring your own. The spinach pie was very good, and the pizza and baked meatball dish were good, but salty and not something we would order again. Small, cute, clean storefront restaurant/retail space with limited seating, but we had the place to ourselves at noon on Tuesday. I imagine it gets busy at times. Will definitely return to try additional cheeses, and will bring a bottle of wine.

I honestly stumbled upon this place when I had a flat tire and had to wait an hour. They make the most amazing cheeses and have absolutely to die for food. I got my first true meal here today and it’s was literally the greatest! Their sandwiches are great as well as their cheese and meat boards! Customer service was outstanding. I can’t wait to try their pizza next. It’s a hidden gem in north Miami that everyone needs to try! They even give samples if you aren’t sure what cheese you want. They make the cheeses in house and you can honestly taste the difference!

I've said it before and I'lI say it again, reviews don't always lie. The reason I'm proud to display that Elite badge is because I want to help you find and enjoy good food. Found this place Yelping as I should. Small, cozy, kinda hidden but with delicious food. Did you know they make their own cheese here? Yes and Bruno the owner confirmed it. There was an article published back in 2005 about this place by Miami New Times and Bruno was featured along with the place. He told me it was a regular day and the New Times just showed up out of nowhere and after that the restaurant got so packed it was their biggest selling day. Anyway just wanted to share some history on the place. When I placed my order for the pumpkin soup which is one of the best pumpkin soups ever, they also give a complimentary mini cheese plate and that alone is a good way to start and even judge the place and food. I went for the Mimmo's panini for that is one of their popular and signature sandwiches and let me tell you, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, tomato and olive pate are all fresh ingredients in this not so little sandwich. Oh and the bread is as toasty as it gets to give it that crunch, yes. I didn't have room in my tummy for dessert but l'll make sure I save some for next time. Bruno, the owner was very friendly and attentive along with the waiter present at the time. I'm telling you, swing by for a delicious lunch and try the cheese platter recommended by Bruno. Cheese made fresh, daily and by them, what more can one ask for.

On our way to an outdoor Jazz event we stopped at this tiny gem and it was so worth it. I absolutely love Mom & Pop type places where everything is fresh and authentic. There was one young lady working who ran the register, cooked and served us our dishes. The young lady brought us a sample taste of cheese which was very good. Next up was the Bruschetta, which had fresh tomatoes drizzled in oil on top of the tastest bread (crispy but light and flaky) I've had in awhile. I've had bruschetta before but this was one of the best I've ever tasted. Margarita Pizza was next and although it's small, it did not disappoint. The pizza had fresh ingredients layered on a thin crust. The last item was the meatball sub which had fresh handmade meatballs & sauce stuffed in a perfectly toasted bread. I had the cold pressed lemon lime juice to wash it down. The prices were very reasonable and I will definitely be coming back... I highly recommend this hidden treasure!!!!

This cafe is amazing the coffee is the beat thing ever and the service is great and its a really cute antique cafe overall am in love and when i visit again i will defenantly come back.all his food is made from scratch and when you get the food it looks like something from a add.

On our way home one day, my wife and our son saw this Italian market and wanted to try their food. This afternoon, my wife and I and our son with his 18 month old daughter finally had our dinner there. To say that we’re really happy and impressed with the service and the food is an understatement. Camilla, the young lady that served us our orders was really very personable friendly and but most of all she knows Italian food and made recommendations for us when we asked about the menu before ordering our food. As the saying goes, first impressions are lasting impressions and this is the case for us. We will be eating again at this Mimmo’s location which is only about 5 minutes from us. We will try having breakfast one of these days. Once again, anyone who wants to taste great food and excellent service, please go to this Mimmo location and experience great tasting food and great service. Once again, thanks to Camilla for letting our family experience a great meal and excellent service during our first visit. We will be back.👍👍👍

I got takeout and this place is delicious. We ordered the gnocchi Bolognese, eggplant lasagna, and a slice of spinach pie and nothing disappointed. There's not many tables to sit as it's more of a deli than a restaurant but I would love to dine in for a more private romantic dinner.

Excellent little gem for awesome in house made deli meats and cheeses. The Coffee though!!!!!! We had a Latte and oh boy was it good!

I ordered a charcuterie platter for a celebration and was the best option ever!! Everyone loved it and was asking where I got it. The quality of products used is the best I tried, and the presentation is 5 stars!! I will definitely order again from them.

Mimmo's is a wonderful hidden gem where you can find homemade mozzarella and other Italian cheeses. The mozzarella is exceptional in quality and texture. Their other cheeses are fantastic as well. The store is small and their cheese selection probably offers 20-30 varieties, most of them regional Italian specialties. The only non-Italian cheese was a saffron-infused sheep's milk cheese from Spain. The smoked mozzarella and stracciatella were out of this world, with perfectly balanced flavor and a texture that may only be described as luxurious. They also carry a few meat products like prosciutto, nduja, and guanciale. Guanciale is very difficult to find in Miami, especially the high quality variety and I made sure to purchase a pound. I used it to make authentic bucatini all'Amatriciana, which was phenomenal. They also serve sandwiches and occasional pasta specials like lasagna, perfect for lunch or takeout. They also sell a small variety of other Italian dry goods such as pasta, canned tomatoes, olive oil, bread, and desserts. Service was super friendly and helpful. Overall, an amazing place for authentic Italian cheeses and other products.

Great little Italian Deli. I had a sandwich and the star was the fresh mozzarella, which they make there every day, pesto and the bread.

Excellent little place to find artisan cheese and get lovely, tasty sandwiches! You can also get samples of the cheese which is really great - I also had the proscuitto sandwich and mozarella which is great: overall highly recommend this place!

Mimmo’s made a great first impression. I grew up eating homemade Italian food in New York and have been on a search for real authentic Italian cooking and couldn’t be happier to have found it. Got the burrata panini with pesto and that did not disappoint. Also order the gnocchi Bolognese and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. Definitely making my return would recommend to anyone.

I usually don’t post a review but this place is so welcoming and authentic. I was looking a home made fresh mozzarella and found it here. It’s made every day! They also have other varieties of fresh cheeses they made, love the colonia garlic and Malbec. Delicious! Luciano vas very helpful and sweet

Very nice place! The staff is really friendly and helpful. I went there because I search and this is one the only places that sell good quality guanciale. I bought one pound and some parmesano cheese. Really good! I will definitely be back to try their food.
