Gorgeous shape for a sixty year old hotel, historic and significant in its own sense of the word. Come in to visit the rooms both indoor and outdoor. Facilities are welcoming and crafted with great artistic flair. You won't be disappointed of you come and have a look. Enjoy the views and nature in the city.

Great ambiance. Somewhat laidback atmosphere at the heart of the city.

One of the unexpected nice hotels as the chain is not world famous. The resort provide all needed facilities that barely you need to go out at all. Stuff are extremely professional and kind. Rooms nice, near and wide, only one minus is windows can't open at all. But definitely would gladly go back.

Service was abysmal. Understaffed, little or no organizatiom, no leadership. 12 oclock menu was finally served 50 minutes later. One other table Easter Sunday breakfast priced at $30 would have been more reasonably priced at $12. Nothing original. The weak food service system took away from good room service and a pleasant hotel.

Clean rooms, fun terrace and pool. Make sure that when you book your room, that you also make a reservation before hand to use the jacuzzi etc. Breakfast is good.

This is a little oasis in Paramaribo. I highly recommend staying here on your trip to Suriname. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was spectacular, and the location was perfect for going out in town!

For Suriname standards nice hotel! Rooms are clean but a bit outdated specially the bathrooms. Staff is very friendly and will help you. around the pool staff is very buzy and hard to get attention, notice please pay straight after leaving the pool! Towels are provided for the pool. big plus ! on the other hand people from other hotels can book tickets to stay at the pool which doesnt leave sun beds left for guests. Continental breakfast is nice. And for dinner loads of nice restaurants nearby. Extra service is: The working ATM in the Hotel. Long storage of luggage if you have multi trips to the hotel in several weeks.

A great hotel for chillaxing in Paramaribo. Some of the rooms are dated & require some TLC. Staff are very friendly.

The Torarica Resort is a wonderful experience, a perfect location in a beautiful area of Paramaribo city, with great view on the Suriname River and with good staff, friendly and professional. Torarica is one of the oldest resorts with many years of experience and professionalism.

Torarica is ideally located at the heart of the city within walking distance of Central areas, including restaurants. It boasts of a lively environment that will leave you feeling at home after long flight hours. Swimmers may find their swimming pool very welcoming, and the bars entertain you back-to-back with Afrobeat hit songs. Their gym is among the best I have used in any hotel or resort. Amiable staff!

The pool side restaurant is wonderful, and our server Christal was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, at an accesible price, and the ambience is inviting. I love that there were multiple vegan options as well. A must in Paramaribo. Highly recommend.

This has to be the swankiest place in the country. Amazing breakfast that runs until 11 am. But the jacuzzi and pool isn’t open late.

The place is dated, elevators build in 1990, rooms look like worn IKEA furniture. Prices are European, with very tasting food when you get it, but service is redicoulously slow. Check in was good, friendly and helpful, but no early check in available. The bad, service is so slow! We had to wait 2 hours for our food to arrive for dinner, and only got food after raising it as completely unacceptable (full disclosure, after a lot of in action service fee was dropped). Scenery is nice, though.

For a first time going to Torarica Resort for swimming and chill it's ok. It change from French Guiana where is more expensive for swimming and drink a cocktail or coke and the location is great

Not like it was 30 years ago. The place was dirty the smoothie was watery. The Butterballs came out of a box. I was highly disappointed. Almost brought to tears. They can do better. I'm heartbroken over a place I love so much.

Very good atmosphere with an amazing lobby, friendly and courteous staff. Swimming pool is excellent and lots of recreational activities including a tennis court, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Very good variety to choose from for breakfast.

Standards have gone downhill. Please tell the Javanese man taking care of the pool that it is not polite to tell guests of your hotel who are staying in your “Executive Rooms” that they shouldn’t ask for any more towels at the pool. Ridiculous and rude. No hotel in the USA or Trinidad would ever tell that to a guest. Highly disappointed on your service in this stay Torarica.

Good nice personnel in charge here but food could be much better and it would help a lot if they didn't call or knock on your door every 45min.
