Went for Sunday lunch and took our Italian Mamma. She loves it here as much as we do. We had Anti pasti sharing boards of Italian meats and cheeses. Mozzarella in bread crumbs. Followed by a lasagne each. Didn't have one of their tasty desserts as we were too full unfortunately 😢 For a true Italian family home cooked experience this is a must. We visited for the first time Lombardo’s today. I’m Italian so for me it’s very difficult to find restaurants that cook proper Italian food and bring me back home. Lombardo’s did that. The food is amazing here. Each forkful of food is an explosion of taste. I had the classic starter, diavola’s lasagna (best lasagna ever had, sorry mamma) and nutella tiramisu. AMAZING. The food is fresh and homemade. My wife loved the food too. Also, Alessandro and Ashleigh are lovely people! We will definitely be returning! Thanks guys 😊

One of the best lasagnas I have ever had. Super tasty and you know is made fresh! The drinks and deserts were outstanding too. Not the best location as we weren't sure where to park but we had the best time once we got there and the staff were lovely too.

Quite simply the best lasagna I’ve ever tasted. Fantastic, friendly service, nicely decorated and intimate but lively atmosphere. 100% recommend trying this place if you’re in the mood for a life changing lasagna.

Amazing lasagna, the best I've had outside of Italy. We had la zucca, butternut squash, and la romana that had the best ragu and taste. Made me think of the ragu a la bolognese you get anywhere in Bologna. Good choice of starters and deserts. We had tiramisu. Really fluffy mascarpone on top, really nice and light. I would use more coffee in the recipe though, but really good nonetheless. Like the choice of wine too. Can't wait to come again to try the other lasagna.

Wow, wow, wow! Having followed Lombardo’s for a while, my friend and I were super excited to try when we were finally booked in and it didn’t disappoint one bit! Everything was super flavoursome with excellent service. Can’t wait to go back for more!

We visited Lombarno's for the first time tonight for my partners birthday after hearing such good reviews. All I can say is WOW! The food was absolutely beautiful, and you can really tell that the chef puts his heart and soul into every dish! Such a lovely intimate little restaurant, and so personal. We will definitely be returning. Thank you both so much for a lovely evening💕

Best lasagne in Nottingham. Really reallly amazing. Super cosy and friendly staff. Book in advance though! It’s popular and there isn’t a lot of tables but definitely worth a visit. Had the Lasagne Romana. Only issue was that there wasn’t more! But that’s me being greedy. Amazing little place.

What a gem of a place! Friendly, welcoming service and delicious food. So simple but so well executed. We are going to be dreaming of those little potatoes for a while now. Probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had, can’t wait to come back and try another flavour. My partner is vegetarian so please to see 2 veggie options on there. Absolute bargain of a set menu on a Sunday lunch - 3 courses for £29. Can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant, very cosy and intimate but with enough life to have a few drinks. Lasagne was one of the best I’ve ever had, service was completely faultless and never did I feel like I wasn’t being looked after. I will visit Lombardo‘s whenever I get the chance again as it’s just such a gem of a restaurant. Keep up the good work and this place will never go out of business.

A hidden gem, the food, the service, the ambience, everything was perfect. The lasagne was delicious as we're the sides. We had a sharing platter and olives to start and had desert as when affogato is on the menu you can't turn it down. Will definitely return
