I have had custom made orthotics for several years and have visited two separate podiatrists. On this occasion I decided to try someone new and selected Dr. Riar. Often a good indication of the quality of the practice is the office manager/receptionist etc and when I phoned to book an appointment I was treated very courteously and professionally. When I met Dr. Riar for my appointment I found him be the ideal doctor. He was professional, knowledgable and most importantly, took the time to discuss my foot issue and make an accurate assessment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would certainly return to and recommend Dr. Riar.

Visited Dr. Riar today. I was VERY impressed with his knowledge and how easily he provided it to me. Office staff was friendly and helpful. I was there to see him about plantar fasciitis and slight diabetic numbness in my feet. Was impressed with how quickly he helped me determine what was causing my various foot issues and how quickly his suggestions made a difference. I now have a care plan and know what I have to do over the next 4 to 6 weeks to deal with all my issues. He was so knowledgeable and easy to understand - I wish I had know about him earlier. If you are having foot issues - I would highly recommend this doctor!!

Just called here to see about booking an appointment. The front desk lady on the phone was extremely rude. Not helpful at all. She needs to learn basic customer service skills. Also, fees are outrageous. $160 or $240 for removing one ingrown toe nail. Please dont go here.

First time we visited Dr Riar, my son was feeling nervous until he met Dr Riar. He made my 8yr old son feel very comfortable and was asking him all the necessary questions, my son was able answer and ask questions. Dr Riar was very informative and sincere with children. I highly recommend him for young children.

Initial assessment is $210 now (which is rougly $50 above neighbouring podiatrist rates) and was informed through email that they do NOT accept disability ministry coverage. Absolute greed for those who are low income and in severe pain and have no other options. I have found other clinics nearby who are willing to reduce rates for low income individuals with just as great reviews that seem to care about patients pain.

Pretty unprofessional I would say. We were in waiting area for 50 minutes. Then they escort us to DR’s room. We waited another 40 minutes. Our child got really irritated.... we went out to reception to request them to atleast let our child play outside instead of being confined in a small room. Behind the reception desk /counter Dr and Reception staff were having coffee and laughing. I don’t know what to call this behavious... but thats not how the clinics should run... ohh and yeah the DR who saw us didn’t like KIDS who cry when she do the test/pinch

Called to make an appointment, was asked to stay on hold by the receptionist- 5 minutes in to the hold the line was hung up. I called back again after about 10 -15 rings she answers again and when I ask why she hung up she's like Oh i'm sorry.. how can I help you .. then proceeds to tell me the earliest they will see someone is 2 months away.. never really made it to the revered doctor.. got stomped out at the reception itself.. sad for people who are in need of treatment. Hopeless bedside manner on the staff, obviously don't care much

Dr.wadiwalia is extremely judgmental. I have full sleeve arm tattoos on both arms and talk in a low pitched voice. I was nothing but respectful to her and followed her instructions precisely. The way she treated me was as if I was a criminal. She was asking me if I went to college, which has nothing to do with my allergy appointment whatsoever. She then began to make fun of me in a way because I work a labor job saying that because I work a physically demanding job I will continue to have allergies. Which makes no sense whatsoever, she never even thoroughly explained anything. Overall do not go to her for your allergy needs.

Totally agree with the previous reviewer. The customer service is very poor. Both receptionist are very rude and think they are over smart and overrule what the doctor says. The receptionists whisper at each other and laugh and sometimes it seems like they are laughing at the patients. They rarely smile and if I ask any question, they will answer with attitude. Dr. lam was really nice and accommodative but he went to Vancouver clinic :(

Dr. Riar is a capable and communicative podiatrist. He treats but only when necessary. He is respectful and listens quietly. Well done Dr. Riar.

Dr Riar actually takes the time to listen and understand what is troubling you. Never has he ever made reference to anything being in my head. He focuses on the feet. I am very happy to have found him!

I was in +++ pain from a bunion and arthritis of the great toe and he provided me relief by injecting steroid into the surrounding area. Pain is no joke‼️I realize it’s not the β€œfix” but a very significant treatment while I await a surgical solution. Thanks Doc πŸ˜€

Terrible experience with Dr Wadiwalla. She is rude and condescending, and does not take care of her patients. I feel like we have no choice but to call the College of Physicians, as she is allowing my husband to suffer a deadly condition with no response, no action.

Couldn't recommend him highly enough. Our youngest daughter (14) had an infected toenail on her big toe and we were scheduled to depart for a cruise within 5 days. Dr. Riar fit us in and performed the necessary procedure a couple days before the cruise. He was absolutely fantastic with our daughter, who was understandably afraid of the procedure. He was patient, kind, gentle, and supportive. He has a great way with children and is very informative, supportive, and takes the time to make sure his patients are comfortable and understand everything about their foot issues. Upon returning from the cruise, he took the time to make sure everything was healing correctly and made sure that any questions or concerns were addressed so we were comfortable that everything was okay with our daughter's toe, and also made sure to address our daughter directly so she was comfortable as well. An absolutely first rate podiatrist and great doctor. If you need someone to care for your foot issues, Dr. Riar is absolutely a fantastic choice. Can't say enough good about him. Thank you, Dr. Riar.

The most fantastic podiatrist ever! My mom went to Dr. Riar after suffering an injury to her toe. Let me tell you, she was in constant pain limping everywhere for months. One visit with Dr. Riar and its a complete 180!!!! She had a severe ingrown toenail and in the initial visit Dr. Riar removed it, even staying after the office was closed to complete the surgery. He was so thorough in explaining what the issue was, taking the time to draw diagrams and really encourage my mom throughout the entire process. He is also so accessible and completely available if we have any questions. I had never met a more well round doctor in my life, he is completely amazing, worth EVERY PENNY. We cannot recommend him enough!!!!

I went in today as I had an infected ingrown toenail. Dr. Riar went into detail about what the options were to rectify this issue. He was professional, funny, and attentive to many of my concerns. After not seeing him for almost a year and a half, he was still so easy going and wanted to catch up on how things had been since last visiting. I can’t say enough about how professional he is. 5 stars is not enough! Also, the lady at the front desk is wonderful. Cheers.
