I love to take on a food adventure and this place gives it all to you. We didn’t know how to go about getting food when we were new there but it’s easy, you’ll definitely figure it out. So I do recommend PRAWN DUMPLINGS. Omg they are so filling and the first bite will definitely blow you away. If you just eat chicken and no other meat please do ask them to tell you which ones are chicken options as they aren’t labeled. But I believe they know properly which is what so they will help. Also recommend fresh cucumber salad,sticky rice, plain Chinese bun, sesame balls. Omg just try it out, you won’t regret a bit and it is a great experience as well. Prices are reasonable as well. Apart from the dirty dirty tray, we loved the entire food, vibe and the staffs are awesome.

Best Yum Cha spot in Suva. Runs from 8am-2pm every Saturday and Sunday . Good variety and great service

Chinese Yum Cha - Dim Sum. Very much typical Sunday morning gathering for family. It was recommended by a local friend that it’s a good yum cha place in Suva. Although it is a very much Chinese restaurant but the food quality and service not really the dim sum I know and compare. I am sorry I wanted to rate higher but I can’t. Food quality average and think not enough staff to clean up tables. Sorry I also don’t have a pic to share that I could only rate 2.5 stars if I can.

I've only eaten Yumcha at Yue lai Hotel. They serve Yumcha only on the weekends. Everything is usually done by midday or 1pm. The food runs out so you need to be there early. The service is not good but the food is. There is a good variety. They serve siu mai, baos, cold dishes, sticky rice, hargow, dumplings, wontons and sweet buns too etc. Tip: you need to order the Cheong fun ,congee and choy sum as it is not displayed for you to pick. Also they never have any salt & pepper squid when I go. So I'm thinking they either run out or they have stopped serving it.

Ii can't comment on the rooms. I've only been for Yum Cha on a Sunday. A large busy restaurant means the food has good turn over and is fresh. Always a challenge to find a table on a Sunday yum cha. Parking can be an issue, but usually you can find a spot fairly close by.

I had dim sum on a Sunday morning. The place was packed. There was a strong cigarette odor in the dining room where we got a table. We asked the server to get clean plates and she offered to get us hot water and a towel to clean them ourselves. I asked her to clean them for us and she did. The dim sum was great. A huge selection and very fresh. Prices were very reasonable. I would give the restaurant 5 star's. I was very impressed. As good as Vancouver or San Francisco dimsum.

best bfast in suva. only on Saturday and Sunday. You can come 8.30 am they already open. there is smoking room.

The tables are dirty, the manager is rude to the staff and does not care about the customers. The food I’m sure is great, but my wife and I never got to taste what we ordered as the manager had declared they had already brought it out. The lady who served us was nice but I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would give it NO STARS if I could. No one should go here because of how unhygienic and unprofessional the place is.

For Fiji, it was an average for me. The restaurant could be cleaner. I have been to places much better. But they is room for improvement. Overheard another patron, that the restaurant lacks people service, putting it politely. Well it takes two to tango.

Great place if you're looking to have Yumcha.

Asked the cashier a question qshe gave a long face without answering it. Dim sum options are decent and worth a try.

A perfect place to do a small celebration for family functions like birthday, graduation dinner, anniversary dinner or even wedding reception

We found a mix of quality in the dishes. Pork and Dalo Dim Sum was a highlight. Chicken Bao and Mince Stuffed Mushrooms were good. BBQ Pork Baos smelt like sweat and the it other dishes we tried were average. 7 dishes cost around $50 to feed two for brunch, which seems reasonable for yum cha. One safety concern was that the windows don’t have much in place to prevent an unsupervised child from falling out from a high floor. Parking was a quite crammed (Perhaps because everyone had long vehicles) and exit driveway is very steep. Personally, think China Club is much better.

Although the food is bit ordinary and pricy, the atmosphere is vibrant. Good place for a get together if you dont mind the food.

Food was delicious and authentic, service lovely and atmosphere very nice.

Even though the food was delayed few minutes, it was very tasty. Some of the staff were very welcoming, it would be nice if the sone of the younger staff would smile and greet the guest, just to make the guest feel at home. Overall it was a great experience at YUE LAI HOTEL. Thank you staff and management
