Nice large space to run around. People are often out playing on the field or walking/running around the perimeter. Covered stadium seating area to rest/watch people playing. One star docked because trash is scattered here & there. Needs to be pick up or place trash cans around perimeter to prevent people from dumping their chip bags and drinks as they play.
Albert Park in Suva is a true gem in the heart of the city! Whether you're a local or a visitor, this iconic park offers the perfect blend of history, culture, and relaxation. The wide open green space is ideal for a morning walk, an afternoon jog, or simply relaxing under the shade of the trees while enjoying the sea breeze from nearby Victoria Parade. What makes Albert Park extra special is its deep historical significance — from the first landing of a plane in Fiji to hosting royal visits and major national events. It's not just a park, it's a living part of Fiji's heritage. The facilities are well-maintained, and there’s always something happening — from sports matches to cultural events and community gatherings. It’s also a great place for families, with plenty of space for kids to play and picnic spots for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by Albert Park if you're in Suva — it’s a refreshing slice of green in the middle of a vibrant city!

When you want to enjoy a day but playing game or jogging or running, this is the place to be. It has big stadium which is very well maintained and you will get lot of people across all ages either walking/running/playing. You will feel motivated once you reach there and for sure you will contribute to your health. A muddy body place for regular exercise to keep you healthy and fit.
The Park is a large open space field the size of 4 maybe 5 football fields. It has pavillion with 2 fast food cafes and 2 decent sized events room. At one corner of the field is an open space #workout area with equipment. A good place to take the family if you want to enjoy outdoor activities. It gets pretty full at 5:00pm when locals come to have a game of touch rugby or a workout. There is a workout group that does #boxfit type training every weekday at 5:30pm. Its F$10 a session if you're interested.
