This park is a grassy field directly opposite the Grand Pacific Hotel and view of the government buildings on the other. Great place to chill after a long day. Also used as training grounds for local teams and having sports day for organisations around Suva. Have a work around the park, sit under palm shades. Nice place to meet some locals and socialize. Even lucky, to get to play games with locals.

Albert Park is the highlight of our beautiful suva city.it is a good place to exercise , relax n etc. It has a beautiful Pavillion . We did our brothers engagement πŸ’ here. Park has beautiful views n surrounded by parliament house, government house, grand pacific hotel, holiday Inn, Thurston botanical garden and museum. A big function happens here Such as constitution day , hibiscus festival n etc. It is close to the beach. The park is very neat n clean. They have rooms for hire in functions . Restrooms are well maintained. Love the park β™₯️β™₯️πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

The park is never empty. From 4am to 7 or 8am, people are out in and about exercising. In the evenings 4pm to about 7pm, people are out there exercising, strolling, friends meet up, family's have picnics. It's also where most events in Fiji happen. It is a a safe spot for activities and very public so you are unlikely to get mugged. I love the view across the park towards the only clocktower in Suva. One side of the park is the Grand Pacific Hotel and Holiday Inn, on the other is the Government Building, on the other is Thurston Gardens (also free entry) and the other side are apartments.

Albert Park in Suva is a serene oasis, blending lush greenery with cultural significance. The well-maintained grounds, adorned with vibrant flora, offer a peaceful retreat. Its historical importance, hosting events and gatherings, adds depth to the experience. A delightful escape in the heart of Suva.

Small yet lively, especially on weekends. Perfect for families where people gather around to have picnics, play sports, swim (not so recommend) and chill. It's pretty clean also with showers and toilets around.

When you want to enjoy a day but playing game or jogging or running, this is the place to be. It has big stadium which is very well maintained and you will get lot of people across all ages either walking/running/playing. You will feel motivated once you reach there and for sure you will contribute to your health. A muddy body place for regular exercise to keep you healthy and fit.

Spacious parking provided. Grounds used for recreational activities. Has small restaurants behind the pavilion. Good places for touch rugby and group exercises. Currently being used as a drive through vaccination location.

I love the park because it's great place to enjoy your leisure activities. Either you working out, joining a group to play rugby, volleyball or even clubs to workout as a group. Even got a group for kids to join activity clubs. Definitely recommend it...if you looking for motivation to workout πŸ’―

Great sports park. Well maintained and clean. I got to watch Chefs vs Fiji on a big screen they set up here. 100's of local fijian supporting their team, so I just had to join the crowd with a fijian rugby top! Lots of fun, then afters watch the local Boys play some soccer

This Rainforest is very near to Capital Suva of Fiji Islands. It's about 15 min drive from city center. You shall park vihicle at the place they issue park entry tickets. Vehicle park is spacious. There are few natural water pools (fonds) where most of local visitors come to swim. You must take additional care if you use pools as those are bit deep and no lifeguards are available. This is one of the best place you must visit.

Located in the center of the city of Suva with a new and upgraded pavilion. Used to be the only park in town for games and festivals.its a historical landmark for the country hosting lots of past occasions including the independence celebration in 1970.Easily accessible with public transport and private vehicles with lots of parking and recreational facilities. Closer to high end accommodation and restaurants including the landmark Grand Pacific Hotel GPH and other amenities. Recommended to visit and enjoy with families and friends.

What a wonderful place to have your afternoon walk. It's the meeting place where friends and workmates who love to work out a sweat after work assemble and walk around the ground. Less pollution, and reduced risk of getting hit compared to doing your runs along the roadside elsewhere.

  • 3/5 Jalli R. 6 months ago on Google
It is a wide open space good for picnic, running around, parades, and games. Around it are beautiful iconic buildings in Suva. There are a couple of restaurants within its vicinity.

  • 5/5 Silo B. 5 months ago on Google
Would highly recommend. Great space to exercise walking around the park. (1 loop is about 1km). People can sit alongside the park, catching up with friends or family and / or watching those who are playing on the ground. The ground is closed when sign boards are displayed on the ground.

  • 4/5 Tom R. 3 years ago on Google
The field is well maintained, and is very popular (especially in the evenings and whenever it's not raining) there are many parking spots available on each of the bordering 4 streets. Nearby attractions include the Fiji Museum, Grand Pacific Hotel, and Paradiso (Italian Mediterranean restaurant). The park is open to the public and is filled with people enjoying outdoor activities in the evenings and weekends.

Safe and well-lit area, good for walk/jogging in small groups or solo. And generally nice scenic place to exercise before and/or after work. Can even bring the kids to join you around the park, or even in the green, if it's open.
