One of a kind experience! Challenging but it is worth the climb to see the view from the peak. Word of advice: Take water (4 litres/person), get a good pair or hiking boots and a noisy/motivational crew

Just love the experience of hiking, started hiking Mount Korobaba from 2017.. but for 2020 , done 9th attempt so far left with 16 more to go for this year and experienced all kinda weather.. since we on curfew.. started my walk from home @4.30am and reach the peak @ 5.30am.. approx 4.9km.. main aim just to see the sunrise and witness God's amazing creation... manage to catch fresh water prawns along the way and enjoy them on the peak

Great hike. Not easy so head down bum up and go for it. Good swimming hole on the way back. Super sketchy in the rain or wet. Enjoy

A true test of fitness and strength and footwear!! Natural trails to the peak of the mountain and a refreshing pool on your way down as well. Trails are quite muddy but worth it. Quite an accomplishment to hike up and down that mountain!

Great Hike! We are a couple, 62 yrs and 50yrs, fairly fit and active from Cairns, Australia. It was a good workout and sweat. Done a few hikes and this one is definitely not a scroll in the park. Holding onto roots as you ascend. Do not go if it has been raining, would be very slippery and muddy. We were lucky with the weather as we were in Suva for only 2 days. Took us an hr and 15mins to the top and 45 mins down. Beautiful view at the top. Worth doing if you love hiking and an adventure.

Great hike, steady climb. Some would mark as difficult. Took us about 1hr and 45 minutes up. We did take a wrong turn on the way down and got lost. Thanks to a local resident from a small village named Joesph, who took us back to our car. We mark our turns on the way up but lots of rain and another group were behind us so it must have gotten destroyed. Thanks to the tour guides and locals for there hard work on this trail. My only concern is the irresponsible people that toss there garbage. No matter your nationality or where you came from, if you don't take your garage out from your hikes you should be ashamed! May I also suggest proper shoe is highly recommended, Flip-Flops not so much 😟

Do not go if it has been raining. Very steep dangerous and muddy. Would not recommend wearing best shoes.

FOR FIRST TIMERS- Don't do everything I did:😅 1. Don't underestimate this mountain and don't overestimate you skills. Lol! 2. Prepare yourself well ( pack enough & pack light). Get 2 litres water (if you're fit- than get 4 litres) for each person and energy bars, you can worry about eating when you get back to civiliasation.😁 3. Wear hiking shoes, if not then boots/canvas that have good grip (went after it had just rained, had a few slips).👟 4. Start your hike early, preferably in the morning. 🌄 I started around 12-1pm and had to get back when it was dark 5. Getting up and coming down are both challenging, there aren't any proper paths to follow, you just have to follow the tracks left by previous hikers. 6. Get someone who knows the area to take you because there are a few turns in there that you have to take and a number of paths that lead to different areas. 7. Luckily, I went with friends which made it more fun and enjoyable. 👭So, go with a fun, noisy group.😊
