I
was
full
after
eating
a
double
patty
burger
at
Burger
Brother,
but
since
I
had
come
a
long
way,
it
would
be
a
waste
to
stop
by
just
one
place,
so
I
decided
to
stop
by
Sonjjang
Curry,
which
I
had
originally
planned
to
stop
by.
The
store
wasn't
far
from
Burger
Brother,
but
since
it
was
located
in
the
back
of
the
old
neighborhood,
there
were
no
customers
even
though
it
was
lunch
time.
I
knew
a
bit
about
the
menu,
so
I
wanted
fish
katsu
as
a
topping
with
spicy
curry.
He
said
it
wasn't
Japanese
curry,
so
I
didn't
know
what
he
meant,
but
I
felt
like
I
wouldn't
like
it,
so
I
just
asked
for
a
mild
curry.
I
asked
about
fish
katsu
as
a
topping,
and
he
said
it
was
the
best,
so
I
asked
for
it.
It's
been
a
while
since
I've
been
there,
but
when
I
go
to
Uchino
Curry
near
my
house,
I
really
like
eating
spicy
curry
with
fish
katsu
as
a
topping.
Even
though
I've
been
to
many
curry
restaurants,
it's
not
easy
to
find
fish
katsu,
so
I'm
looking
forward
to
seeing
it
here
and
hearing
that
it's
the
best.
That's
it.
The
store
had
more
seats
behind
the
wall
where
the
menu
was
posted,
and
the
water
was
self-service,
so
I
poured
it
from
the
water
purifier
and
returned
to
my
seat.
After
waiting
a
bit,
a
mild
curry
with
fish
katsu
and
a
fried
egg
on
top
was
finally
served
on
a
tray,
accompanied
by
miso
soup
that
wasn't
very
satisfying,
pickled
cabbage
that
tasted
relatively
bland,
and
kimchi
that
I
didn't
know
what
it
tasted
like
because
I
didn't
taste
it.
He
explained
that
they
fried
katsu
and
served
a
lot
of
rice.
First
of
all,
when
I
looked
at
the
curry
and
fish
cutlet,
the
color
of
the
curry
seemed
much
lighter
than
in
the
picture,
which
was
an
unfamiliar
color
that
was
different
from
what
I
expected.
No,
it
feels
relatively
overcooked,
so
I
feel
like
my
expectations
are
low.
The
curry
feels
similar
to
the
one
at
Higashino
in
Samseong-dong
in
that
it
feels
like
it
has
ground
ingredients,
but
it
is
a
bit
thicker
than
the
one
at
that
store,
but
the
color
is
lighter,
so
it
feels
less
familiar
and
less
appetizing.
First,
I
tasted
the
curry
and
it
was
mild
in
taste.
I
guess
there
was
no
meat
in
the
ground
ingredients,
but
I
could
feel
the
greasiness,
but
it
didn't
have
a
rich
taste.
Perhaps
because
of
that,
it
felt
less
impressive
in
addition
to
the
less
good
texture.
Unlike
Uchino
Curry's
fish
katsu,
which
had
a
small,
refined
taste
and
was
good,
I
took
a
bite
of
the
fish
katsu,
which
had
good
volume
and
was
overcooked,
so
there
were
burnt
parts
here
and
there.
It
looked
like
it
was
fried
well
and
had
a
moderate
amount
of
oil.
It
didn't
feel
like
it
was
relatively
dry,
so
the
batter
was
below
expectations,
but
it
was
thick
and
voluminous,
giving
it
a
homemade
feel,
and
the
taste
of
the
fish
itself
wasn't
bad.
Overall,
it
was
similar
to
the
pork
curry
I
tried
last
time
at
Shemom
in
Jamwon-dong.
A
local
guy
who
is
good
at
local
food.
It
feels
like
a
tough,
home-cooked
curry
served
at
a
restaurant
run
by
me.
Of
course,
the
curry
was
definitely
more
my
type,
and
the
tonkatsu
seemed
a
bit
overcooked,
but
it
wasn't
as
overcooked
as
today's
fish
cutlet,
so
it
was
better,
but
the
overall
tough
and
masculine
feel
was
similar.
Although
I
was
full,
I
was
still
eating
the
curry,
and
he
said
he
thought
you
might
be
curious
about
the
spicy
curry,
so
he
brought
it
to
me
to
taste
a
little.
When
I
took
a
bite,
I
heard
that
it
was
made
with
only
healthy
ingredients
and
that
it
only
had
a
spicy
taste
from
Cheongyang
peppers,
not
artificial
spiciness
like
capsaicin.
It
was
real
Japanese
curry.
It
was
a
very
Korean-style
Cheongyang
pepper-flavored
curry
that
didn't
have
any
flavor
at
all,
so
I
was
so
surprised
that
I
stopped
after
just
one
bite.
There
are
many
different
types
of
spicy
curry
in
Japan,
so
I
wonder
why
they
make
it
this
spicy.
Osaka
curry
is
not
spicy
at
all.
Although
I
was
full,
I
decided
to
skip
dinner,
cleaned
myself
up,
got
up,
paid
the
bill,
and
left
the
store.
I
like
Japanese
curry
in
general,
and
the
fried
katsuryu
topping
on
top
of
the
curry
looked
good,
so
I
visited
with
high
expectations.
Similar
to
the
previous
Shemom
in
Jamwon-dong,
it
was
a
home-cooked
curry
served
by
a
local
guy
who
cooks
in
the
neighborhood,
so
it
was
a
Japanese
curry
that
I
was
familiar
with.
I
don't
even
know
if
it
tastes
like
that,
and
the
fish
itself
had
a
homemade
feel
and
felt
like
they
used
good
fish,
but
I
was
a
bit
disappointed
because
it
wasn't
the
well-fried
katsu
that
I
saw
in
the
reviews,
and
that's
why
I
put
aside
other
good
restaurants
that
serve
Japanese
curry.
Even
so,
it
felt
like
it
was
hard
to
compare
it
to
the
good
Menya
Konoha
Curry
in
this
area,
and
the
taste
and
overall
feel
were
close
to
not
great,
but
the
price
was
good
and
the
ingredients
themselves
felt
good,
and
it
may
have
been
overcooked
only
today,
so
it's
okay...
