The cold noodle here is very authentic and delicious. It is Pyongyang style (more natural in flavour, less salt). The eatery very busy during lunch time and a very famous lunch spot for local politicians too! Love the engraving of restaurant name on their chopsticks. Cold noodle chopsticks are longer and heavier than traditional metal chopsticks you get in korea. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area!

This is one of my best cold noodle places. The way it taste is a little bit different from other big 4 noodle places like phildong, eulji, wooraeok, uijeongbu etc,. The texture was chewy but not sticky. Fried Mung bean pan cake is also the best menu here. If you need more noodle without paying extra money, tell them that i need ‘양마니’ which can be translated into extra noodle in english.

This is a famous 평양냉면 restaurant all over the korea. I always ate 함흥냉면, but it was my first time to eat 평양냉면, which gave me a fresh shock. The 평양냉면 is really bland and light. Also, the side menu was great, the dumplings and 수육 were amazing.

It's been 20 years since I've been enjoying this restaurant, but it doesn't taste like that time, and the unkindness gives me discomfort every time. There is no permission for a restaurant with good business to be unfriendly. The taste of food has changed a lot. This is what everyone in our group feels. Otherwise, it may be because there are many emerging powerhouses of other delicious Pyongyang naengmyeon.

The most famous Pyongyang nangmyeon (cold noodle) in South Korea. I got there when they just opened up on Sunday, but there were still a long line of waiting, but the turnover rate is fast, so it didn't take me too long to sit down. It was better than my expectations. Tastes were a bit blended, but I loved how it is not salty or sweet. I highly recommend to anyone even on foreigners and kids. It would taste even better if the weather was hot.

Immediate one of my favorite Pyongyang nangmyun place. Very interesting broth plus superb noodles. I can’t remember any other good similar noodle flavor I had. Love to go back.

I've had my fair share of cold noodles in the 6 years that I have been in Korea and today I can say I've had the best in my opinion. The noodles taste really good and the broth tastes fresh. The kimchi and sides were really good and they serve a warm bone broth to drink as well. The traditional mung bean pancake was a real treat with some meat inside and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

A restaurant known for its delicious Pyongyang naengmyeon, one of the best in Seoul. Long queues for lunch on a hot day. It has a different taste from the familiar naengmyeon. but it’s not a reasonable price.

Long line, and overpriced okay food. But I have to say that kimchi, BinDaeTheok and Makgirly is a good combination. Low quality Suyuk and noodles are too chewy.

This is my favorite cold noodle place. The noodles are different in a good way and the broth is tasty, a subtle beef flavor. I would describe it as "pure." If you eat the naengmyeon, I think you will understand.

Very disappointing plate. Super spicy and nothing comes with the noodle. Not worth to queue for. (I'd recommend other cold noodle, Naengmyeon places than this one)

i had the pleasure of being invited to have a Pyeongyang Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle - Pyeongyang style) and it was superb! Solely on the Naengmyeon alone, they deserve 5 stars - the broth was immaculately refined and the noodle texture was firm and of a slighter thicker variety that added to the chewing pleasure. This location (the first and original Eulmildae) is situated in a less-developed area in Seoul and the interiors are spartan. It doesn't make it less charming, however and I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there. The reason I docked 1 star is due to their soo-yook (thinly-sliced boiled brisket), which we ordered separately. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either (a few slices were set on top of the Naengmyeon too and, thankfully, it didn't affect the noodle's flavor). Their Nokdujeon (mungbean pancakes) were excellent (though somewhat brittle, even if you know your way around your chopsticks) - when you want to pick up a piece, I suggest using your spoon to support (or even scoop up) the pieces. Will definitely return (though, I am not sure whether to this location or to one of their other locations sprinkled throughout other districts in Seoul)

Great cold noodle place but it’s definitely not for everyone. Distinct blend taste might make some people hate people who recommended this place to them. But I say give it a shot.

Was my first 평양냉면. It was a freezing winter. We waited in line and tried with 빈대떡. Great to eat them together.

Great Pyongyang naengmyeon (cold noodle)! Often a long line.

One of the best naengmyeon restaurants in Seoul. Parking is quite difficult here so use the metro or other public transportation. You may habe to wait to enter the restaurant because it is quite popular among the locals.

A solid place for the winter and summer. You may have to wait about 30 min or so on some days. They are known for their cold buck wheat noodle soup. But must try their nokdu which is their pan cake.

very popular pyongyang cold noodles place. long lines during lunch. but the turnaround is pretty fast. the noodles are bigger and different from other pyongyang places but i’m assuming this place is most legit. there are black flecks in the noodles which make them look different too. the broth is good but the noodles are a bit too bland for me and didn’t absorb the broth as much as i liked. decent jeon pancake. the dry spicy cold noodles are decent too and not so spicy. overall decent but not my preference.
