Beautiful place with wonderful views of the sunset. It’s an odd drive to get here driving behind buildings but don’t worry you are good. Once you park take a walk to the edge and read about the monument.

Fiskarkona is the statue of a fisherman's wife that is watching out over the sea for her husband to come back.

Very nice view Point. Go there. No matter how the weather is. We were there in winter, and it was a unique experience. You can't drive till the end, so you have to walk for 5 minutes past some beautiful landmarks. In winter the road was not cleared so we had to walk 15 minutes, but once you are there you won't regret it.

Great view of Fiskarkona Statue, "Feskarkjärringa" was created in 1999 and stands out at the pier at the entrance to Svolvær. With its 4.5 meter high bronze she looks over the Vestfjord and greets the fishermen who are on the horror. At the same time, her hand is sheltered from the weather where she is looking out over the sea, worried if she gets her husband home in the evening.
