Personnel is not very friendly and made me feel very uncomfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very tense. The girls behind the bar were nice, but the waiter was very unfriendly. Our friends came to have lunch and I waved at them so that they could sit next to us, and he became very angry at me. He screamed at me that I should not tell people where to sit and then he continued to come back to me asking if I wanted to run the restaurant. It was really confusing, since we had been sitting here for a while and spend over €200 together. I felt very uncomfortable and did not like the way he talked to us as customers. I would not recommend.

Took a long time to get served even with online ordering. The restaurant was not full. Ordered crayfish that initially looked great! Looked like a descent portion, but the crayfish were very small compared to other places(restaurants) in Norway. You could not eat the claws, because of the small size. Also when all the crayfish had been emptied for meat, the meat were barely two table spoons. It was so little food, and I am a petite person eating small portions. I left hungry. Very messy to eat and no wet napkins. This was also one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. In addition the “crap sack”? were not removed, and again difficult to remove due to the small size. I would stay away from this restaurant, expensive and nothing impressive about the food or service. Many other much better restaurants nearby.

Most pathetic burger of 2023. Dry bread, almost no dressing, overcooked meat and a slice of cheese from a cheap pack judging from the taste. No greens, salad tomato or anything else that might have saved it a little.

I asked if they can make me a vegetarian salad and they came up with basically a few green leaves and some tomatoes. Every supermarket in Norway has about 20 vegetarian options at the salad buffet to create a beautiful take away. At Nordis the fully educated chef has no ideas how to make an exciting salad for 200kr (15Euros). So sad, so little passion for your profession. Told the waiter to send a message to the kitchen and he just pulled an irritated face and mumbled an OK. No sorry or any response, like asking what could have been better or if they could offer me something different. I worked myself in kitchen and as a waiter. All in all at Nordis an experience far behind international standards. Not coming back

Stopped here for wine and a bacon Cheese Burger while in town. Good burger. Lots of open seating. Beautiful views of the water. Friendly staff.

The option for none fish eaters aren't that good. We ordered spareribs and a burger. This is the only two things you can order as a none fish eater. I also asked for some greens aside. They charged 790NOK for like 50 gram of vegatable. The taste of the main courses were okay.

Came here with friends for lunch. Good omelette and the waitresses were alright. Came back at 4pm for a snack and this time, we have been scolded in a mean way by some manager because we didn’t see the sign saying we had to wait at the entrance to be “greeted” by some butler. Then I don’t know what greeting means. What a pity for the image of Svolvær and Norway.

Waiters didn't seat us for about 10 minutes (the restaurant was nearly empty). The fish was dry and tasted like nothing. The pizza was good, fish soup was okay and the place is really pretty. Big dissapointment for us tbh, wouldn't recommend, also it's pretty expensive...

Had a hot chocolate here in the afternoon, good service, nice interior and beautiful views!

Posh and modern space that has a full bar. The pizzas are great and salads fresh. Wide selection of wine and beer. Food is pricey but that's the price for a posh restaurant. Staff are cold and took ages to get served. Stars deducted for poor service.

Overpriced average tasting pizza, that even fails to make you leave the restaurant feeling full due to the small size. Friendly and nice staff, and a cozy vibe inside. Thats probably all the restaurant has going for it, as my experience prior has also been the same.

If you are on your way to catch a flight, this is not the best place to stop. If you have adequate time, it is delicious. The staff was friendly, and the food was great, it's just unfortunate that they are understaffed.

Yes/No The view is really nice, the restaurant looks good, on the other side, the menu was kinda short, food wise (that may be, because I was there during brunch), I ordered a grilled chicken breast and it came, literally a chunk of chicken breast, not sliced, not nothing, looked like it came straight form the store, and it was put on the grill. It was served on the plate with the ideea of a fine dining set-up. I find it a little bit expensive for what is offered. Like I said, I was there during the brunch, maybe during evenings the menu is different 😊

Food was good, we had the fish and chips and skagen sandwich. Service quick for Norwegian standards (10-15mins until food arrives) and there is a nice view to the Svolvaer harbour.

Excellent white pizza, thin crust with great flavors, I enjoyed every bite of it. Service was very good. I told the waitress I would need to catch the bus in 45 minutes and she seated me right away and took my order. My pizza came out promptly as well. I was able to enjoy everything and made it on bus on time.

Super chic restaurant with amazing tasting food and awesome views. The veggie impossible burger is a must try for vegetarians.

Fishsoup/Fiskesuppe! Sorry, This was on the lower end. Ordered a fishsoup, quite fast delivery. The soup did contain 20+ shrimps, «half a liter hvitsaus» and just ONLY 3-4 Small bits of fish. About 1cm to 2cm in lengt. For the price 309,- nok for the soup and a Coke Zero. You guys have to try harder, this is NO fishsoup compared on what you delivered under the «Du verden» name earlyer.

Amazing whale and salmon poke bowls, but the service was a bit slow
