My friend and I were excited to have a peaceful first night at this hotel. However, we were really disappointed because the hotel's bar played very loud music that kept us awake until the early morning hours. Even with our doors and windows closed, the noise was still noticeable and disturbing. We understand that it was a Friday night in July, and some noise is expected. But considering the tranquil vibe of this place, it would be better if there was a curfew or limited hours for the loud music. This way, guests can have a more peaceful stay. It would also help if the hotel informed guests in advance about the karaoke bar's activity during those late hours, so people can plan accordingly or request rooms that are farther away from the noise. Overall, we were disappointed by the disturbance caused by the loud music. If the hotel addresses this issue, it would greatly improve the experience and make it a more relaxing retreat for guests.

There is a pub in the first floor of the "suite" and the shack was shaking from the bass in the floor below. The music kept blasting until 4 in the morning, and then another half hour of people chanting. Good luck getting any sleep in this place.

Nice placr, good breakfast (even with covid restrictions). But the old houses have bad air quality (open all windows immediately after you arrive). Also the parking is public and can be very full.

Fantastic location, great service. "Only" 4 stars because the very warm temperature in the loft bedroom made it difficult to sleep.

Last night me and my "better half" went to Anker Brygge and found that KJØKKENET was fully booked. We then went to the bar and ordered 4 dishes from the Bar menu pluss drinks. We had to carry our drinks to the outdoor seating. There was no question about how we wanted the food served, and, was astonished when all 4 dishes came at the same time. I told the vaiter that this was not acceptable, and, the lady waiter/barlady/ cashier agreed to serve 2 dishes and later bring the remaining 2. Now I wanted to get another glass of beer and there was nobody to take my order so I had to walk in to the bar..order...pay and bring it by myself back to our table. I noticed that the same happened with all guests sitting outside. I HAVE BEEN AROUND MAJOR PART OF THE WORLD and NEVER experienced this kind of lackluster service!! We finished our food (wich was ok) and drinks. Looked for a toothpick, wich was nowhere to be seen. We frequently visit Svolvær, but back to Anker Brygge?? NO! Kudos to the young Spanish young lady who surely tried her level best.

Very clean an cozy! I stayed in an apartment in the white building above the restaurant just to the right when you cross the bridge. It was beautiful. I loved all the old cabinets and decorations. Breakfast was a large, beautiful spread of food. The receptionists were very helpful with the questions I had. They allowed me to leave my bags at the front test after I checked out, so I could walk around town without my bags before my bus arrived. The location was in walking distance to everything.

Absolutely fantastic location to stay, shared the experience with a group of 12 and perfect. Breakfast was awesome and dinner in the restaurant was the best we’ve eaten in Lofoten. Would stay here again.

6 nights in Lofoten, we were here for 3 of them. A great pub with good beer and food choice and excellent service in a unique atmosphere. Cheaper than the more expensive set menu restaurants if you're on a little more of a budget. The nacho pizza is amazing!

Been with my family at the restaurant "Kjøkkenet" highly recommended. Cosy place with nice staff. Their menu is not huge, but they serve well prepared food. This is a taste of local cuisine. Not cheap, but well worth it.

We spent an excellent couple of hours in here today whilst waiting for our boat. The barman was friendly and spoke perfect English, the beer was cold and the fire was warm. We didn't eat, but for what we did have it couldn't have been better.

The place is very cozy and nice. Probably one of the best spots in Svolvaer in Summer to spend an evening with friends or just chill. A mention to the staff, always available and smiling, even with funny jokes 😁.
