Very very worst housekeeping cleanliness was zero rooms r not up to the mark and they collecting more tarif but it's not worth it hot water is not coming lot of ant and insects and lizards are in the room there is no water for drinking wardrobes are very dirty I can't keep my clothes and curtains are not covered up the windows properly very bad smell in the room blanket was very dusty bedsheets are very stained bathtowel s r ver small there is nothing in the room and totally my overall experience was very horrible and waste of money

My worst experience with this resort occurred when I started my journey from Chennai. I had previously checked with the resort regarding the condition and accessibility of the swimming pool, and they assured me it was in good condition. I double-checked with them thrice, between 6 to 9 pm, and upon my midnight arrival, I was shocked to find the pool in a deplorable state, full of dirt and green leaves. It resembled a pig pond. When I raised this issue with the staff, they displayed indifference to the customers' concerns and simply stated that if I was dissatisfied, I should pay 75% and check out. They had made false promises and charged exorbitantly. I strongly advise against staying here and ruining your vacation. Subsequently, I found another accommodation, 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳Mayapuri Amira, 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 which was a delightful and beautiful experience. I highly recommend it.

The only thing this time we liked here was breakfast. We enjoyed it to the fullest. Friendly staff, but due to less frequenting of guests, they have also lost interest in few guests walking in. The place is unkept and not clean. It has lost its earlier day charm. It was dirty and had cob webs, dirty looking curtains and curtain rods had rusted. Room had crawlies and insects everywhere. Cockroach and small insects everywhere in the room. The swimming pool had labourers and people peeping into. The labourers had their tents pitched next to the swimming pool. The walk ways were unkept, had sticks and large twigs fallen all over. They need to really look into revamping and keep the place clean, and market the place for more people to frequent.

Very bad maintenance of rooms. The garden is very shabbily maintained unlike the ones we see in the photos uploaded . Wash rooms have a opening that can be accessed from outside.,there r no locks . They have no in-house restaurant. Service is pathetic .food is sourced from outside . No security at the resort .Safety is definitely a concern . Extremely expensive !!!!!!!!!!!!

Good place to saty in a coconut farm, The rooms are quite spacious for the price. The management could take an effort to make it easy to locate for travellers. The reason for not giving 5star is minimal room service. For place like this intercom is must,lack of intercom makes the room service difficult.The ambience,location was good. Bonus was bar in the property.

Wonderful resort located inside the coconut grove. Well built and room designs are nice. But service and room maintenance is utterly waste. We spent 2 days there and used to stay with pungent smell.

Good stay, the locality is good,calm and peaceful. but we felt the resort needed maintenance. Probably post COVID maintenance has come down. They have one staff member (he is like Superman) who does everything.. they can do really well..

We have stayed there recently and we enjoyed the location of nature. The swimming pool also clean. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr.Rajesh, the staff who have given us an excellent service until we depatured from there.

A big thumbs up to the location and the ambiance... The rooms were filled with pests... Cockroaches and toads... But the staffs immediately came for aid. The rooms could be well maintained though...

Third grade place to stay. No meals provided. Rooms are large size with small sitting room and also a verandah. Plenty of mosquitoes due to being close to a dirty pond. There is no restaurant and they only provide breakfast. The nearest shop for any small items is at least 2 km. It is in bye pass road without any lights on the entry point. There is a kachha dirt track 200m from bypass to resort entry and you are most likely to miss it in evening hours since the entrance is without any lights. Since there are no Swiggy or Zomato services provided in this area, one has to go to market for meals Apr any other requirement. Being on bye pass road, you will not get any transport Like auto etc. Resort is big but poorly maintained. There are very few staff other than manager Mr Venugopal. Overall it’s a third grade resort and not worth staying.

A very humble place with lovely birds around... So I'd rate the location good except for the fact that the resort entry board could be well lit, it was difficult for us to locate during the night hours.. The room service needs some improvements, we saw toads and frogs under the TV, under the bed, and inside the closet and they even came through the toilet bowls.. rooms were a bit foul smelling... Also we were not provided with the bills after our stay and the payment was only via cash...

It was really a pleasure stay ... The location is wonderful and we can see peacock 🦚 dancing very often and the pool was well maintained...This is 10 years old property si the rooms are avragly maintained and need some renovations apart from that all are good as it is very quite and refreshing and very nature friendly

Actually I inquired in the resorts for a stay initially but I had another plan for photoshoot and requested the management for taking photos for album purposes within the premises during my stay for the management staff said it would cost around 3500 / day for room and extra 3000 for photoshoot within the premises for 5 hrs I thought to cut down the costs and took another hotel nearby and paid 4000 for a 7 hour photoshoot. When I request the management for a bill for the photoshoot the management is not ready to bill the amount ....the OVM is worst of worst of the worst resorts I have seen ever cheating it's customers charging extra 3500 for photoshoot,though we stay in the resort too greedy persons, also the maintanance is too poor, only selective locations available for taking photoshoot,, should travel quite far for food ,I regret my experience with OVM, the person when asking for a bill behaves rudely never ever visit this resort better the resort can shutdown the rental services for the photoshoot if they can't provide the bill. If you are thinking of a photoshoot go to ooty / Kodaikanal never visit this resort for photoshoot purposes

I was stayed will family in ovm..rooms are marvelous, pool, gym all facility is good.. Food and well. My kids are enjoyed with peacock ans birds..Taken care from ovm team.. Very nice team and nice stay.. Who are all. Visiting kumbakonam Or looking for resort. Stay must prefer ovm..

Poor service. Booked via phone call. Due to heavy rain, couldn’t travel and informed them about cancellation over call 12 hours before checkin. No money refunded. Money waste. Disappointed with service and customer handling.
