Symphony Hall in Boston has outstanding acoustics and comfortable seats. I have attended concerts for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops. The Boston University Symphony Orchestra occasionally plays here. The people at the ticket office are very helpful. Richard and John at the coat rooms are great. My favorite place to sit is in the orchestra, towards the front, either center or to the left a little. I also like to sit in the first balcony close to the stage.

Attended 3 recent concerts of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Perfect acoustics enhance the warm, lush, delicious sound of the Best Orchestra in America!

Sublime orchestra in an acoustically perfect venue. The BSO continues to upgrade the amenities outside the hall without detracting from the very traditional building.

Absolutely wonderful hall. We watched a live orchestra performance of The Empire Strikes Back. The whole experience was smooth, employees were supportive, alert and guided the crowd well. Clean facility. If you never got to experience Star Wars in theaters, this is a great alternative.

On my most recent visit I went for a panel discussion before the performance which was eye opening and very informative. The music was beautifully presented. I enjoyed reading some of the historical information plaques during intermission. There are restrooms on the first and second level (I didn't go up to the third) and water fountains with water bottle filling stations!

Pops Boston Symphony was delightful! A must see every year. Great variety of music and orchestra and chair were excellent. Enjoyed singing Christmas carols with the audience at the end. Very special!

My first time at the Symphony Hall will not soon be forgotten! Holiday POPS 2023 show was fantastic! The performers, orchestra, & chorus were phenomenal. The crowd was fully engaged & enjoying every minute of the show. The hall is absolutely beautiful. The architecture, art, & history of the Symphony Hall has been well preserved.

It's great venue to listen and see orchester. I heard outstanding music from Genshin Impact. I could see everything from the balcony seats.

Had the wife’s graduation here. This venue is well maintained and presents well for pictures. The neighborhood is a bit transient immediately around it. I was approached by a raspy woman on her new iPhone and smoking a cigarette. She asked if I had money to help her get her car out of the tow yard, it was just towed away. Be aware of panhandlers

I was expecting to enjoy Christmas music performed by a Symphony Orchestra and choral singers and we experienced so much more. It was a multimedia extravaganza. Touching and humorous moments blended together into a truly amazing experience

Went to Rick Steve's concert and participate in a pre concert talk. Rick did an amazing job of being a tour guide of 7 European nations in the Romantic Era (late 1800's) along with a historical, art and music extravaganza! Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops at their best!

Spectacular. Beautiful, acoustically excellent, and the Pops are always standout: but it has tha Boston charm of being small while also rather magnificent. I recently saw Empire Strikes Back with a live orchestra, and everything was world class. Easy access on public transport

Beautiful venue and mostly kind staff. One concession stand (outside yhe dining area) had a staffer who did not have the same level of hopsitality as the others. He acted like he was overwhelmed and was unkind to my nephews when they are trained to be polite and tip well. That person aside, it was just lovely. A must go.

A stunning venue with amazing acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house and very helpful staff. We saw Joshua Redman quartet and this venue did great with a four piece.

This is my first time attending such events and it was very very good. I can say that it was excellent the singing the choreography everything I just said back and just enjoy the music that sounds the pause everything. How to specialty surprised at the voices that was on these little children and some teenagers because I was proud watching them their parents must be very proud. I think my friend for taking me and it was a lot of fun and I enjoy myself very much

Saw a video game orchestra and it was popping off. Also wish I would of dressed up since it was a fancy venue. They also have good rules and procedures in place for covid. Definitely worth going to. Just make sure you pound down your drinks for intermission since you can't get in after

This was the BPOs first concert after lockdown, Bruckner's 8th. Excellent performance, the venue is magnificent and the staff did a terrific job handling the crowds and Covid protocols.

Exciting concert by the Hyden&Hendel Society after pandemic. They are a fantastic orchestra really. And very popular prices. Everybody should go once at least.

I worked across the Ave for Handel and Hayden Soc. at Horticultural Hall, or more specifically 🤔 a job creator from the notorious Williams clan. We got to go to a show. Holy wow, primo talent, acoustics, every seat is a winner. Poopsy's Music Teacher has a generous gift of tickets, and we went again. A m a z I n g ✨ Everybody working here is so cool and good at what they do. There is a sustaining Grant from the Stata family (refer to the 'hidden Polar litre odyssey' from another review for Ray's Alma Mater) that is super generous, and I cannot believe I didn't check out the bathrooms, 😳 Omg somebody please review them?

The Symphony hall is a great place to hear a performance. Everything is top notch. Just don't leave your jacket on a railing in the balcony, they will interrupt a movement to aggressively tell you to remove it from said banister..my bad BSO.

I mean I'm really not sure what I'm qualified to say about this place, but it's beautiful and they have great programming - absolutely go see a performance here

Symphony hall is always excellent but this performance was not my cup of tea.

Hands down the best acoustically sounding hall that I have ever been. I later read that it is one of the top three concert halls in the world. Very well deserved. I was there for the January 23, 2022 Me2 Orchestra concert and they and the hall did not disappoint. Just a wonderful venue.

First time back to Symphony Hall after the pandemic. Some little things have changed. The gift shop is gone. They no longer give paper programs. Other than that, it's wonderful. The acoustics are near perfect.

Was great to hear live music again. Haven't been there in years. I'm definitely going back to hear some Mozart and Beethoven.

Nice place and very safe as well. Don't bother buying beverages, you can't take it inside and the break is short. It's a beautiful place to visit and enjoy! I'm very pleased.

Unfortunately, I haven’t even heard the Pops yet. Just trying to get my tickets was an event in itself. If you aren’t familiar with Symphony Hall, there is no adequate signage or staffing to assist if you have purchased tickets online. No one outside to direct or ask questions. Waited in line, showed vaccination cards. Then was told to go back outside and walk around to box office to pickup tickets. Supervisor at front lobby and her staff were too busy talking to provide assistance. I lost contact with my party. Found out he had fallen outside trying to find me. Just a mess. So disappointed…

The best concert hall in this neighborhood, by far, is Jordan Hall at the New England Conservatory. Smaller, more intimate, every seat has a good view of the scene and the acoustic is excellent. Symphony Hall is a rather bland horizontal 3D parallelepiped.

Handel and Haydn - unmatched. In a beautiful historic setting. Harry Christopher's last performance with H+H. It was magical!

We're long time subscribers to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The BSO and Symphony Hall are among the crown jewels of the Boston cultural treasure chest. Attending our first concert in two years, we were pleased to see that face masks and social distancing protocols were being taken seriously by both audience and staff. The performance was sublime, the acoustics perfect, and the audience most appreciative. It was a great relief to find that this fine tradition continues unchanged!

The Boston Pops plays here! Epic music! Very enjoyable listening experience. The aged building is a little difficult to navigate , with stairs, steps, and crowded floorspace. The audience floorspace is so crowded with tables and folding chairs for serving drinks and desserts and etc. for the concert attendees, it detracts from the experience of the music. It's hard to find your table and crowd into seats.
