The lodge is beautifully located inside the jungle. It is really quite and there is lots of places on the premises where you can relax and unwind. A must see is the huge restaurant terrace, which gives u great views of the surrounding area. There are live cooking shows included, if you order a traditional Swazi dinner. Rooms are simple, but enough for one our two nights. The pool is spacious and beautifully integrated into the whole facility.

This is a cosy lodge tucked away in the valley and mountains just outside Mbabane. The greenery and foliage is amazing and it's really picture square. Only spent a half day there for a workshop and so wouldn't know about the rooms. The staff was generally friendly although their service can be improved in some aspects (we got a negative attitude from one staff member for example when we asked for a projector in the co Ference room which is standard practice/service).

I spent more than one month at Mantenga Lodge while at work in the beautiful country of Eswatini. Got to know everyone from the reception to the gardeners, - all the lodge crew. Everyone was very kind and accommodating and it was painful to leave. To date I am still very nostalgic of Mantenga. The meals were insanely good esp the continental breakfast, and my favorite was the ribs and tomahawk steak with the chips. The rooms were amazing. I would highly recommend without any reservations.

This lodge is a gem! Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Our very dirty car was even washed for us overnight. The breakfast and dinner options in the restaurant are good.

I booked a family room with a view of the garden. It's beautiful! The rooms have a unique structure, and the view of the trees is simply amazing

This restaurant has the most vicious owner I've ever met. The food is delicious. The service is good. Though, the owner's attitude is horrible. Their credit card machines went wrong. We asked the staff if we can pay part cash and part transfer. The staff went to call their boss. The boss came out with roaring " OH XXX THOSE PEOPLE" !!! It is your credit card machine problem! Not us! Why should you blem us?! How could you shout at your staff and us?! Cause we are yellow people?! You are white and you have racial discrimitation?! It is the most terrible exprecine in Eswatini restarants.

The rooms needs a serious attention and upgrades. Breakfast menu was always the same, I would suggest a few more variations

We came over for lunch, the hotel has a beautiful view. The food wasn’t the nicest. The service from the waitress wasn’t the greatest either. But the view is worth it

This is a gorgeous spot, tucked into the forest. It’s easy to find (very well sign-posted), but once you’re here you feel like you’re away from it all. Rooms are private chalets at very reasonable rates, which includes an excellent breakfast.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mantegna. It was a last minute unplanned trip but my stay at Mantegna will always make Eswatini memorable for me. The staff were amazing, catered to all my requests also super friendly, especially since I was traveling alone the company at meal times were welcoming. The restaurant was top notch as well, breakfast overlooking nature was splendid. Facilities and my room was immaculate and always clean. I had so much help from staff on how to get around and local information. This will be where I stay whenever I go back to Eswatini. Absolutely loved it. Thank you Mantegna Lodge.

Very friendly service. Partially renovated rooms, but no waste bins, bedside lights, cupboard for clothes or fridge. Strange layout of rooms but nice decor. Beautiful garden with pool and location. The restaurant has an ok dinner menu and a very nice breakfast buffet. Beautiful view over the valley onto the mountain ridge. Access to the lower lying rooms is outside the property via a steep unmaintained dirt road, so don't come in a Ferrari, you won't be able to negotiate the deep washouts, potholes and ruts. Unless you have a 4WD you also won't make it back up when it rains.

Nice food, great service! Amazing scenery, and it's so quiet and serene. But the road leading up to it is unpaved so not ideally for low suspension vehicles.

Stayed at this lodge on a short stay while visiting Eswatini. It’s absolutely beautiful, the feel of nature was breathtaking and very relaxing. Good place to unwind. We stayed in one of the double rooms with the balcony which we really loved. Staff was very attentive. Didn’t really enjoy the food however. :(. The breakfast buffet stayed exactly the same for four days.

The deck situated in the tree tops made lunch just wonderful. The views of the green countryside and the sounds of nature all around were so tranquil. Definitely worth a trip on my next trip!

Nice and private, great scenery too. Good for couples moments and also good with the company of friends, but requires a mature crowd

Location is amazing. You're pretty much spending your time in a luxury treehouse, which is quite unique. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful. They even washed our car. Still I have to rate 3 stars for service, because we found a worm in our food (salad)! Didn't receive much compassion about this or even understanding that we didnt want to pay gratuity anymore.

Sawubona... Used to be part of the management team. Great experience working and living there too. It has changed and renovated. People enjoyed the unique view from the terrace. Great place to be. For vacation or on business.

Very nice and romantic lodge in the heart of Swaziland (Eswatini). Hidden in a huge garden one can find very good, clean and comfortable accommodations. Very friendly staff! The restaurant itself is worth a visit! Very delicious and varied dishes on a big balcony.

A great lodge. The rooms are big and well equipped, the service is lovely and the restaurant on site is just great. It's also very close to the cultural village so it's a great place to stop in

Lovely place for a little break away. The staff is friendly, the rooms are neat and clean. The rooms have air-conditioning, tv. We had a rock view room and it was so peaceful. Check out and check in was quick and easy.

Really great experience staying here with my friends during the Bushfire Festival. Definitely coming back.Bar service was tops, hospitality was tops. Breakfast was good but the breakfast waiter service wasn't anything to write home about.

Our first interaction with Mantenga wasn't a great experience, they said they offered camping & we requested to see the campsite prior to paying, however, they wanted to charge us an R70 pp conservation fee just to go look at the campsite. This obviously didn't sit well with us at all, however, we thought we would take a chance and booked one night. Driving in we started getting excited as we thought what a beautiful location, however, the campsite was not a campsite. The ablutions were super far, the people in chalets above could look over onto us, and there were broken bottles and exposed roots. We spoke to a supervisor name James who totally owed the mistake of this resort & offered us a chalet, so this rating is based on the chalet and not the camping. The Chalet was beautiful, and the SHOWER IS AMAZING! The little balcony looking over the valley is stunning. It's well furnished and has a super comfy bed. We also went to view the dancers & the local village. The dancers were superb, and the guide (Maxwell) showed us the village was just lovely and totally new his stuff. He was respectful of the translators in the group but didn't let them go on for too long. He just had a beautiful balance of respect. We did inform the lady who showed us to our room, that there was broken glass from the patio door, however, she never came to remove the glass. This is a bit of an oversight, but all in all well done on owning your mistakes & looking after your customer. We would highly recommend staying in one of their chalets, you won't regret it.
