Worth going to eat and bring friends to eat. There is a new restaurant called The Blue Nile, that serves Ethiopian cuisine and coffee prepared the traditional Ethiopian way. Would highly reccomend!!! Also some typical souvenirs shops and a craft jewelry store, but not as nice compared to other souvenir places such as Swazi Candles.

Beautiful shopping mall with all the latest and greatest shops, eating out etc. but man it’s difficult to find ones way around and not many info desks and no information screens, so it was very frustrating trying to figure out where to go. Also got to the parking ticket machine and it was being repaired and didn’t take credit cards 💳. I then also struggled to get an FNB ATM that had cash (tried 3) before eventually I had to use another bank to withdraw for the parking. So I spent literally a hour just getting out of the center and this was a bit of a delay. But hey these things happen.

What a lovely find. Authentic Swazi shops with an awesome variety. Shopping is not my thing but this is more than just a shopping experience. I will certainly visit again when I am next in the area. Enjoy!

Backpackers chilled vibe perfect for sundowners on a Sunday. Shades & sneakers are all you need. Too bad didn't stay long

Lovely centre with shops and cafes, very friendly staff with recommendations and suggestions. Loved the craft shops, saw unique Swazi-crafted items at reasonable prices. Great place to start the day in the area.

Not a bad stopover for lunch, Italian fettuccine al ragu pleasant dish, besides the coriander and cheese.

Great to relax and shop around, with a nice open space for children. The pizzas and smoothies are good.

Only two rooms with Double beds. Not ideal for couples. Rock View room has too many trees, you cannot see the rock view. Breakfast is awkward as you practically eat with the staff.

Mantenga is such a local treasure- definitely worth a visit! The vibe is great, and there’s lots to see (and eat!)- a great mix of locals and visitors. Food-wise, try the Italian/pizza Vesuvio (yum, I love the gnocchi!), or the Egyptian- really delicious vegetarian…. There’s craft beer and a wine shop, a gin bar, cocktails, and a smoke and grill… also try The Shed, which has a Mozambican spot with Esw-famous peri peri chicken! For shops, check out the local carvings and crafts- dolls, paintings, and the like- or stop in the jewelry or gift shops! Slightly off the beaten track- one of my favorites!
