One of the oldest and most beautiful national parks in Sweden. Make sure you stay long enough to explore the 6 hiking trails this park has to offer and hopefully enjoy northern lights in the evenings, depending on the season.

I been here in winter for the northern lights. It was amazing experience. I also did a small walk in the famous kungsleden trial. Hope I will get back here in summer to do the full version of Kungsleden. But one of the well preserved national parks in Sweden for those who loves the nature in its best:)

Beautiful winter walk along the Njakajaure track. Well marked and has good boardwalks where needed. Took about 2 hours at leisurely pace.

Very nice and easy walk in the nature. No big climbs. Or you can walk along the river, or in the wood, always good marking.

Wonderful national park in the north of Sweden. We spend one full day hiking inside it in winter, and I will for sure come back in summer to do the Kungsledden because I suppose that the landscape are beautiful during blue sunny sky ! Also, good spot to see northem lights, I wasn't in the good season to see it but we saw some.

Beautiful in the summer especially for hiking. There are many hiking trails which go around the park. Even if you’re an amateur and have no special boots or stuff you can still hike easily.

It’s one of the most important Swedish national parks, an astonishing place to see. It’s one of the few places in Europe which is still virtually untouched by man, hosting a spectacular display of nature, with amazing views of Torneträsk (the lake), of various glaciers, and with a forest rich in birch trees, berries, and mushrooms. It’s also one of the best places in the world to see the Northern lights, due to the latitude and local climate. The trails are kept in great condition, information is readily available both along the trail and in the visitor center in the STF Turiststation.

We could see northern lights two nights in a row. Its a great place to chill out. The only problem is to find a restaurant and supermarket.

Amazing sights of the park up close and personal during winter. I bet it will look even more glorious during spring summer.

This is one of the most beautiful and cleanest national parks I've visited, ever. You'll get to experience the Lapland's untouched wilderness and nature in here. Excellent place to visit or even stop on your way to Lofoten/Northern Norway

Amazingly beautiful. Make sure to first go to the tourist information point to get a map of the tracks! We didn't do it and almost missed the main attraction, the creek 😅 It is better to go by car so you can stay for the night, since the last train to go back to Kiruna is before 17hs. It is a great place to see the northern lights, so if you don't rent a car, i think is worth spend one night in the hotel infront of the park!

One of the best nature reserve in Sweden. Several hiking routes and different colours for each season! I include my autumn photos for early September!

Beautiful wild nature, be prepared for quite a lot mosquitos in the summer season🦟🦟, but in the end, it's worth it💛

Beware of high prices of sleeping in the park (350 SEK / person in a *tent*) => one has to go approx 3 km away from the park to find a good place to camp and hike the whole park in one day. Otherwise a great place if visited in a good weather.

👍 Fantastic environment & amazing views. Beatiful nature. Nice, but simple rooms. During our stay the servicelevel at reception was low. Dinner food in the restaurant was fair. Breakfast was nice. The spa & relax experience makes this a 4 and not a 3.
