Magical place with very special energy. I was so proud to inaugurate and try it out myself last week (Sep. 2021.Bookings open later this year. and guests are welcome from May 2022). The modern and elegant design of the five forest suites of Trakt Forest Hotel by Gerth Wingårdh blends perfectly with the surrounding forest. Being able to immerse myself into nature with all the comfort of a suite, in combination with the location up on a hill with that unique energy…it really made a difference. Magic? I don’t know, but it sure felt like that. Eco magic, perhaps. Or sustainable luxury magic. Go try yourself! PS Don’t forget star gazing through the window above the comfy beds. This was one of the most amazing places our family has stayed. The owners and their family/staff were wonderful. The food was fabulous. The suites were incredibly designed. The atmosphere and location was so relaxing. Our only regret was the we stayed one night! We could have stayed here all week! The hot tub in the forest was fun too. This was a perfect place to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Thank you Sandra and your family for making us feel so at home! ❤️🇸🇪

High-end design and forest tranquility experience. I especially appreciated the roof window over the bed, looking at the pine branches and the stars from the comfortable bed, and also the nice bathroom with shower. Everything was very well cleaned. The living room had a wall of glass facing the forest, and a pentry with fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. The breakfast that arrived at eight o'clock was delicious with local specialities. We visited Trakt Hotel in May when there was beautiful bird song. There were no traffic sounds at all. Dinner was high class and the staff was friendly. There are many charging stations at the hotel parking. The walk to the designed cabins is around 300 meters.

If you look up the word "tranquil" in the dictionary, it should say "Trakt Forest Hotel". It is the perfect place to disconnect and just be. We stayed for two nights and the cabin was great, the food was fantastic, the staff was kind and helpful and the location is 10/10. We will be coming back and are telling our friends to go too.

Came here with two friends, our first forest living experience and it has been unforgettable! Would be perfect for couples too as the suites are so snug. The rooms are as beautiful as pictured, the dinner was very good - the main course a standout. We came from Stockholm and had to take a train to vassjo, then took a taxi to the property for sek1300, the company we used was recommended by the hotel and it’s called Taxi Touring. There’s actually a good bit to do! Thought it could get boring but definitely not. Walking trails, hot tub, lake nearby (didn’t even have time for the lake me).There is a main reception house where dinner is served, the place feels very authentic even though it is very trendy also. There’s everything you need so you will get very well looked after in the forest, perfect way to enjoy with good company.

We had an awesome time at Trakt. The suites are fantastic to relax in, the nature around it is beautiful. Maybe even the best about our stay was the amazing food, sooo tasty! 100% recommend!

Absolutely loved it.

The Trakt Forest Hotel was beyond amazing! We came as a couple to celebrate our honeymoon and really enjoyed the quite in this lovely area in the nature. The staff were welcoming and very nice, helped us with hiking paths in the area (don't miss the lake!) and cooked us amazing food. The suite was incredibly beautiful and well-designed, we never stayed in such special location. We loved it!

Set in a beautiful pristine forest, this hotel is the epitome of Scandinavian architecture in nature. The warm hospitality and best service from the staff is the cherry on the cake. Their attention to detail is impeccable. We received a warm welcome with coffee and cookies, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. We stayed in Sorbus, with a stunning panoramic view of the forest and a bathroom with deep lingonberry-red tiles. The vegan 3-course dinner at the log house was absolutely delicious and satisfying. In the morning, breakfast was delivered to the forest suite and it was a huge spread. We were completely stuffed! Thank you for accommodating to our food requests. Overall, Trakt is the perfect setting for one to immerse in the Swedish forest and connect with nature.

Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend. It was a surprise trip for her birthday and we were both more than surprised how beautiful this place was (even me who already saw the pictures while booking it). Hot tub during the night with some wine is a must have add-on! Highly recommend this place :)

Wonderful place in the deep forest. Facility in the tiny hut and service in the package was far more than expected. Nordic design at the best. Meals was not just food but extensive and made with love and by local producers. We enjoyed every minute in the Trakt forest 🌲☀️♥️👣

Beautiful!! The houses are incredible. Very relaxing and a great sense of tranquility. Dinner was also very nice and the breakfast overlooking the forest was very memorable. Highly recommend!
