Stumbled upon this, but it was a cute place to grab a coffee and food and learn a little more about the history!

Really gorgeous place, especially with the first signs of autumn appearing! The buildings are interesting to look at and are in a perfect shape. There are a lot of signs which explain what has happened in the respective building and so therefore you really get a feeling of how life must have been back then. The old mile was spectacular and the sound of the water was so relaxing! I also enjoyed having a little Picknick at the public Picknick area by the river. The place really has an awesome history, starting as a factory, then becoming a flight field during WW2 and now beeing a free large open air museum. There even was a retro looks which compleated the awesome atmosphere. Totally recommend it! You can easily park in front of the mill and the area is easily accessible.

This is a great place to stop. Pivk up a map at the information office and then head to the chain link forge and rod iron hammer. The whole building is built from the remnants of the iron. The various minirals give off blue, green and torquise colors. It's very beautiful Oh and it's for free

Beautiful scenery, cozy old shops selling hand-made things and much more (not very cheap though)

Aboslut ett av mina favoritställen här i norr! Så mysig och trevlig miljö. Jättefint att bara gå runt och titta o lära sig om historien bakom detta fantastiska ställe🙌🏽🥰
