Nice museum to go back in time. Nicely set up by showing various daily life activities in separate rooms.

Very interesting place showing nice piece of local history - I am actually positively surprised that such a small village has such a rich history.

My great-grandfather Karl Spetz worked at the iron foundry. At least one pocket watch of his is in the museum's archives. Please contact me if you have any memories of him.

A very different and very interesting museum with more than 11,000 (!) pieces on display. Fascinating!

Very cute little museum about life in Lesjöfors, especially 50s-70s. This does of course also reflect life in similar towns and the whole of Sweden during this period. I wouldn't go to Lesjöfors only for this museum, but well worth a visit if you're in the area. For smaller kids, the 3km Trollstigen is just round the corner.

Bring time when you go here 😊 There's a lot to see. We got an brochure in German. Very nice. But there is not much information about the different pieces. The focus is on the history of the city.

Fantastic smal museum about Lesjofors, the workers, inhabitants, the factory in the 50s, 60s and all those nostalgic feelings. Lots to see for children too. Good coffee and cakes!

Fantastic museum!! Man, did this museum meet my expectations. It was packed with old things, a feast for the eyes. Super friendly lady who received us. There was even a Dutch museum booklet! It gives a good idea of how the factory used to work and what the private situation looked like
