This is a gem of a place to spend a day or seven. Tons of top-class hiking and views. The birding, botany and rock climbing are memorable and the cafe at the top of the mountain is not to be missed.

Nice walk with impressive view at the top. We use the orange path for climbing and the blue one for the way back. (There is a difficult part after the cave)

Good spot to start the Skuleskogens hike trough the forest and over the hills. You can easily park your car or caravan there and stay the night. Parking lot itself is nothing special, but hike itself is easy and awesome.

Unbelievable, simply Unbelievable 👏🏾! What a way to spend the days hiking through the national park. The trees, mountain fresh water, acres of wild fruit and plenty of places to stop and take in nature at its best. Some of the world's oldest river beds and low level places to have lunch and truly relax. When you get to Sweden 🇸🇪 make sure this place is on your to do list, it gets no better that this!!!

Not much to add due to the many positive reviews. Breathtaking display of nature which is well preserved and cared about by the parks staff. If you have only one day to discover the park, we recommend the north entrance, as it has the most diverse scenery. We recommend to walk to Slåttdalsskrevan from south and north entrance if you have the time.

Great national park with beautiful hiking trails. Breathtaking views of the coast, hidden beaches, forests and lakes. The south entrance is perfect to park your car and start hiking. You can easily spend half a day exploring the park.

Beautiful, bold landscape! Great hiking! Part of it was quite challenging, especially at the of blue trail over the mountain. We camped one night on the North Beach and woke up to a pair of swans, feeding in the shallows

A beautiful national park with very diverse landscapes, well kept pathways and gorgeous views. I especially loved how a path could lead you through the deepest woods, to a beautiful little lake and hidden beaches at the baltic sea.

We stayed just a few minutes away from this wonderful National Park. We entered from the south entrance with its huge parking lot, which was almost full on that day (but free of charge). There are some good and useful information signs just at the entrance and a handful of (smelly) bathrooms. And pretty much your first and last chance to get rid of your garbage. There's also a nice viewpoint already here, the only one suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. We followed the well marked Höga Kustenleden trail up to Slåttdalsskrevan, the famous crevice which cuts through the mountain for about 200m. The trail itself ist pretty flat but with some steep stairs / sections once in a while. Some parts you'll walk on wooden panels/boards. But it's nowhere near wheelchair or stroller accessable. Good hiking boots are a must, since it can be wet and damp even on a dry summer day. Some sections of the trail are covered with stones in several sizes, so bring a good balance with. We traveled with our Engllish Bulldog and she made it to Slåttdalsskrevan and back, even had fun doing so (into the Slåttdalsskrevan I went alone though, the climb was to high and steep). A fantastic park and very much one of the highlights we've visited on our Sweden Road Trip. For us it was the perfect place to enter the park, since we were so close to it. And it's also a good place to start your hike towards the Slåttdalsskrevan, which is also accessable from the north.

Simply beautiful hike and you can take a refreshing swim on the way down and camp or just chill before hitting the road

We went on a sunny day mid-September, so it was not as busy as it might be in summer. One of the best trails I've walked. Blue routes can be a challenge!

Fantastic park with multiple beautiful locations varying from ancient forest, beaches to cabins situated on lakes. Good distance for beginners as most things of the park can be reached within 5 km.
