Interesting muzeum presenting the history of Swedish navy in really attractive way. And totally free! The only thing that needs imrovement is turning off light or just darkening it in the underwater section. Then, the wreck would be more visible.

Very interesting and child friendly museum! The food was very delicious as well. The free bathing facility 100 meters father is a great refreshment! Don't forget to take your bathing things with you when leaving the signposted parking area. On a sunny day you are going to have a tremendous experience!

Beautiful place to visit. The setting outside is great inside is even better. There is a buffet lunch option in the museum.

Very informative and interesting spot. A family adventure. Be there before 14.00 can be recommended as there are actions for kids that end at 15.00. The wrak tunnel was disappointing as too dirty to see anything but green water.

Very nice marine museum, with 2 real submarines (one can be seen inside). Most expositions are described in Swedish and English, although there are place, where only Swedish description is available. You can download audio guide app in several languages (I've not tested this option).

Historical interesting place. Learn a lot about svensk military (sea/marine) and follow the way from a country with a few ships, battles with denmark and russia, to a nation which safes their searoutes of trade. Inside you can visit a real submarine.

Wonderful, wonderful place! I honestly didn't expect this museum to be so HUGE! You really need a few hours to see everything and take it all in. There's an authentic submarine that you can visit, there's also a part in the museum that allows you to go under the sea level and see an authentic shipwreck and if you're lucky, spot some sea critters (I've seen some very curious fish :D). The museum is filled with history and stories, you can experience by yourself how it is to row a huge ship or sit down and learn how to tie a different types of knots. I can't recommend it enough! It is definitely worth visiting!

Was here prior to departure time of the Stena Line ferry. An hour before the museum closing time was well spent as we were able to come inside the submarine. My son liked it so much!

Very big and well made. They have two submarines from cold war. One can go inside Neptune, it's amazing to see how the life looks like inside the submarine. A nice walk through the history of Swedish Navy.

The museum tells stories in every possible way, it’s super entertaining, interactive, and full of information that will make you understand and enjoy Swedish naval history. It’s friendly for the whole family, from children to adults. I think it’s useful to arrive early and start with the submarines, so you will have time for the rest including visiting the centre of Karlskrona for a farewell ice cream.

Loved this place. So much to learn about naval history and great ships to look and loved all the displays. It’s free to enter and that is really nice as there’s really so much to see. Also have a kids craft room which is really cool.

Much more interesting then I expected. Good audio guide via the app (don t forget your headphones). The little boy in me got the upper hand when I saw you could actually enter one of the submarines.

This museum is a best place, not only to know about naval history but to experience the same. You can go in to a submarine. The place has some working models for kids to play around and teach how submarine works. The buffet served is very good and not included in the entry ticket. Entry is also free during Wednesdays. You also can enjoy some good views around the museum.

I'd one of the better museum I have been too. The main exhibits are well layout. A few older warships are also on display outside by the docks. A nice restaurant round out the museum. The food looked good but we didn't try it.

TL; DR: worth it. Despite its appearance it’s quite big inside, multimedia are included in the experience. Most of the things are available to touch which is positively surprising. The main thing - real submarine - definitely delivers. Beware of buffet food - it’s good and cheap but quite heavy on the stomach.

Very interesting and large museum. Also the entire museum is floating on the sea, and its quite an experience to go in the little tunnels they have that go underwater. They also have a food section which is kind of bland in my opinion. Overall 8/10, its worth to go there.
