A must visit garden if you love flora and fauna

Just when yoy think Visby can’t get any more beautiful: this garden is a walled oasis and an example of beauty within beauty. Meticulously maintained and a pleasure to walk through or read a book in.

A very beautiful place to visit - many different types of trees, plants and nicely organized and labeled. Great to see trees from 1855, and also new specifies over the past decades.

A beautiful park. It was created to teach the local youth about local flora, but it is more than that. Thera are flora from the local island and some exotic species. As well an area with herbs together with descriptions of both their culinary and medical uses. An intriguing botanical garden truly.

I liked Visby very much. Especially the botanical garden with its flowers, herbs and islands of calm. Would spend there every day if i lived in Visby.

Very beautiful and well designed.

I'm sure most people love it, I went with the missus and our kids. Lots of plants and other green stuff, rather boring.

Great garden

I visited this botanical garden during winter; however I can imagine how beautiful it would be in summers. Nevertheless it was still a really nice stroll here, seeing all the different types of plants and setup. There is also a church ruin here which is closed but you can look at it from outside and imagine it’s glory. Definitely a recommended place during summer.

My absolute favourit spot in Visby. You can hide yourself there, listen to a bees and birds, have a shadow on a sunny day and just relax.
