What a lovely little hidden gem. Not only is this unique but it's a top quality experience. The wine is some of the best produced in SA, the winemaker knowledgeable, approachable and willing to share her love of the area, the platter yummy and the view sublime. Please visit. You won't be dissapointed.

Visited today and did some wine tasting. Service was good and wines were extraordinary. We also had a platter of various cheeses, shaved meat and bread. Very good. The only negative was that there were no non alcoholic drinks on offer for non drinkers. Otherwise this was a very pleasant experience in an interesting setting. .

What a wonderful surprise to come across in this area. Not only is it the only wine farm but they cultivate the vineyards in stoney soil. And the view from the tasting room is very peaceful.

It was absolutely, beautiful , very relaxing and hubby loved the wine tasting. You should consider having drinks for the non-drinkers.

Went for a free wine tasting, three samples. Quite crowded, very popular on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely views over the rocky ground, down onto the BreΓ« River. An unexpected gem, the building built with the flat local rocks. Lovely red syrah blend!

Fantastic wine from a top notch young talent in the world of wine. Charla has huge passion and I'm sure she is someone to watch. Please don't take this as a negative in any way (I don't want to dis new world wines) but she produces wines that would be hard pressed in a blind tasting to be different from quality French wines. The estate white is fabulous, think Crozes Hermitage and the red is a spit for anything the Rhone valley can produce. Great work. Now to beat condrieu with your single variety viognier....!

We were so fortunate to spend a bit of time with Winemaker Charla in the winery and vineyards . These are amazing wines made from vines that flourish in the struggle.

Wow! Amazing place! This wine estate offers the most amazing wines end slso delicious olives. We took the opportunity to linger here while absorbing the spectacular view of the Breede River, paired with the delicious farm style platters and exquisite wine the offer. Obviously, we could not leave without a few bottles of their wine and olives! A must visit if you are in the area. Make time to relax and do not rush through this opportunity to take in the beautiful environment and interesting story of the area and environment.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wow this was stunning. The kids loved it, the wife loved it (and even I loved it). So much effort has gone into this amazing place. The detail and the lush plants and greenery really make it such an experience. It’s great for kids although keep your eyes on your littlest ones as mine wanted to touch...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The Lang Elsie's Kraal Rest Camp at the Bontebok National Park is truly a hidden gem. Having never been there before, I didn't know what to expect, but now I can't wait to go back. En-route from the park reception to the rest camp you pass a number of activities such as hiking and MBT routes as well...
