Lovely Restaurant with a lot of vegan alternatives on the menu. The terrace of the place is quite lovely and the interieur is clean white with a lot of beautiful details. By accident we were there on a saturday and got surprised by a little market right next to Grace + Marcis. We loved the view from the restaurant on the playing children and relaxed people sitting around zipping on their drink or just strolling around. Can really recommend this!

I had the Grace Breakfast which was delicious - coconut bread, salmon, and perfectly poached egg. My partner had the Green omelette which was also delicious. Lovely location under the the trees and service was great! The scone wasn’t my favorite but everything else was wonderful.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Sedgefield. We had delicious lunch, amazing milkshakes and fantastic coffee. There is even a doggy menu and they were so welcoming too.

We had lunch at Grave + Merci. All I can say is Outstanding! The most wonderful service We were greeted by all staff present. They went the extra mile for everyone. So warm and friendly yet professional. Food is outstanding and we enjoyed sitting at the river. We were there for hours - the vibe is so brilliant We chatted and laughed with our waiters and felt like we were all friends forever. I wish all restaurants were like this...wow incredible. Can't wait to return. There is so much passion and love We hugged goodbye. Very special ladies..they are beautiful inside and out. Thank you so much 💓

Lovely place, friendly staff and very good Carrot Cake. The Pecan Nut Cheesecake was good but a little stodgy to my liking, as most baked cheesecakes are. Coffee was great!

The wait staff was attentive, accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing- with the outdoor seating intertwined with a beautiful tree on the deck. The hot chocolate ceremony was affordable, and tasty, and the croissant was to die for.

A much needed stop during our trip, nice open area, and play things for the kids. The food was good, and service was friendly. Will I stop there again; yes.

Awesome outside setting for yummy lunch with friends. Burgers (including banting option) and steak lunch. Bubbles and cake (including gluten free).

Wonderful menu, restaurant, and service. They have a well planned menu with fresh food that takes a little time from ordering, but well worth it. The food is made with the finest ingredients and delicately prepared. Great place for vegans and vegetarians too. They bake the freshest home made South African roostekoek. This is their signature bread to have with burgers, sarmies and soups. Roosterkoek are rolls baked on an open fire, slowly baked on the coals without any foil or Dutch ovens/potjie pots, authentic SA bread made the way it should be. The portions of food are a generous portion and I know that I will be back with more travellers. They have a cosy fire place in the dining area too and also have a lovely kids area in the back garden.

Such a quaint little restaurant! Food's super tasty and many vegetarian and vegan options. Very pretty place, with a great play area for small children. And the attached shop selling linen, soaps and aromatics is a must-visit!

We really struggled to find a kid friendly eatery in Swellendam that’s open before lunch and happened to stumble on Grace and Merci. It’s easy to find just off the main road and is a lovely upmarket and quaint restaurant. The best part is the jungle gym and zip line for the kids so I could be left in peace to enjoy the most delicious dark chocolate cake.

First visit.. It's beautiful here and so peaceful. The selection of chilli sauces with your meal is also outstanding!

The food is always amazing! Every dish is special and you can taste the love that goes into the preparation. I had a most amazing avo-toast and asked for two extra boiled eggs. Had it with a great coffee! Best dining experience in Swellendam. Beautiful breakfast location! Kids play area. Thank you guys, keep it up.
