Lovely
little
restaurant
on
the
end
of
a
strip
filled
with
quaint
boutique
restaurants
each
with
its
own
charisma.
La
Belle
Alliance
looks
like
an
old
church
that
has
been
converted
into
a
stunning
unique
restaurant.
With
indoor
and
outdoor
seating,
you
have
options
depending
on
the
weather.
We
sat
outside
on
the
deck
and
enjoy
the
view
of
the
stream
and
lush
flora.
The
menu
is
in
both
English
and
Afrikaans
which
was
quite
nice
because
you
never
see
that
these
days.
For
a
small
Afrikaans
town
I
think
it’s
good
they
stick
to
their
roots.
The
menu
was
good,
lots
of
options
and
good
kids
menu
as
well
so
our
two
children
were
happy
(even
the
little
baby).
There
is
no
play
area
however
the
garden
is
quite
nice
to
walk
around.
Trees
everywhere
gives
you
ample
shade
from
the
hot
sun.
It
really
is
a
beautiful
little
spot.
The
waitress
was
very
nice
and
attentive.
The
food
quality
was
good
and
actually
tasted
like
“real
food”.
(These
days
that
is
important).
It
was
quite
pleasant
sitting
there.
Afterwards
we
went
for
a
walk
at
the
park
directly
next
to
it.
I’d
recommend
this
place
as
a
“must”
when
visiting
Swellendam.
There’s
parking
on
site
as
well
as
on
the
street.
You
can
walk
the
strip
after
your
meal,
there
are
interesting
stores
all
around.
