The Berry Guest Farm was an amazing campsite. Definitely the best campsite I have visited. It is tranquil and peaceful. Amazing views. Not too many campsites which I loved. They also cater for children. Activities include Canoeing, Berry picking, pool facilities, glow stick hunts in forest tractor hunts, etc. The children are also in a safe environment. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be visiting again. The staff were also professional and helpful. I had absolutely no issues.

Highly recommended. As a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers), there was so much to do, we were exhausted by the end of the day. Our kids absolutely loved it and we will most certainly be back. Henri, the owner, really gets around on his bike to ensure that you are happy and all is in order. The ablutions are super clean. I would give it 5 stars, but the only reason for not, is the size of the plots. We found them to be a little narrow. Although you can setup as far forward as you like, it can make for an interesting / tight setup, depending on the size of your camping gear. But overall, absolutely brilliant.

We went as day visitors. Took our 5 yo for a trip into the magic forest. It made her day - there was really quite allot for here to see, try and experience at a low cost. Counting rabbits, swimming in the river, hand pumping water, writing on pebbles, swings, rope bridge, labyrinth and kid friendly zip-line. Was a safe way for her to experience nature. Try it out if you have kids. Up at the restaurant, (although it closes really early on a Sunday - 12:30...) there is a water slide, swimming pool and a large dam with canoes & life jackets for kids. Worth a trip and something different if you're from the city/suburbs.

Farm air, forest walks and starry nights... The Berry Guest Farm was a beautiful location for our weekend away. The owners and staff on the farm were warm and welcoming. They stayed up until 8 pm so we could check-in after a long drive from Cape Town. They gave us bottled water on arrival and warmly showed us to our cottage hidden in a nook on the farm where we had a lovely braai under the starry night sky. Our days were spent exploring the forest on the farm; we released our inner child as we used the ziplines and the wooden swings hidden beneath the forest trees. They have a beautiful dam where we canoed and tanned under the sun. The Berry Guest Farm has put in immense effort in setting up activities all over the farm and their hospitality is beyond words. From hopping on the owners motorbike to explore the farm land and checking up on us daily, we felt welcomed and valued to say the least. We look forward to our return!

This was an amazing experience. This is a working farm but you will never say that. The peace and tranquility was superb. Picking your own blueberries and blackberries. Visiting the enchanted forrest in day time was amazing. At night time even even better, especially using an ultra violet torch. This is perfect for kiddies. They get to do rock painting with fluorescent paint and then laying out pathways for night visits. Then there is the 240m zipline to take. The owner oversees this experience. All in all a must do holiday. Our cottage, appropriately called the birdsnest, was everything we needed.

This is such a special place. Lovely hiking trails and Henri and family are so welcoming and go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and settled in. Fresh mountain air with all you need in a clean and convenient cottage. Loved the indoor wood fired fireplace on a rainy afternoon.

Beautiful farm with loads for kids to do. The owner was very accommodating and even put the rugby on for us! The kids loved the tractor ride and the pool. The playground area with the old car was a huge hit too. Our dog had a great time swimming in the river and exploring. The blackberries were just getting ripe. Fantastic place to visit and no need to leave the farm for anything!

The Echanted Forest was fun and full of surprises for the kids. The forest has a zip line for the kids and a picnic area with swings to play on and there is a hanging bridge to cross the river that the kids loved too. They wanted to go twice just because they had so much fun. The second time around the kids counted the figurines. Not sure who had the most fun, the kids or the dog. We had lunch at the Cafe afterwards. The food was great and the staff were lovely and so friendly.

surprised by my amazing Capitec Bank family with a farewell this morning & ended up popping in at the Berry Guest Farm (always a fave on a hot summers day β˜€οΈπŸ•ΆοΈ) & as usual the staff were super friendly, welcoming & full of smiles β™₯️ thank you! my team thoroughly enjoyed the activities (canoeing πŸ›Ά & especially the zip-line 🀭) - we had tons of fun & made awesome memories πŸ₯Ή. We were a little disappointed to find out that day visitors are no longer allowed to enjoy the pool area 😒 since it was 1 of the main reasons we chose the venue - this could’ve been communicated when we called, or even mentioned at reception while paying for the day passes. Would still recommend this spot though 🌸

The kids have dragged us back at least 4 times this year - they absolutely love it! Clean, comfortable accommodation on a working berry farm with beautiful views of the Hermitage Valley. But best of all is the fun loving approach of the owners who go to great lengths to make it a magical experience for children of all ages.

The Berry Guest Farm is the perfect escape from the claustrophobia of city life. Friendly service, cozy cottages and beautiful views all make up for a wonderful experience. There are plenty of activities to do. Its perfect for large families with kids full of energy. But also quiet enough for smaller groups or individuals. Its the very berry best guest farm!

The Best Place! Owners are the most friendly and interactive people I've met, even their dog Spots are friendly 😍😊... Tranquility and serenity is what they offer... Home away from home... Actives that will keep the kids and grownups so busy that there are no time for gadgets... Variety of Zip lines that prepare you for the Big One... Canoe trip that had me in tears... Of laughing.. For being scared at first and then enjoying this something new... Als wat mal en lekker is! Will definitely visit them again and I will recommend this place to everyone to experience for yourselves!!

One of the best places I have visited. Just the rest my soul needed. Even spend some time in the forest making land art😊
