What a fantastic camping site right next to the river. Peaceful and the ablutions are clean. Pieter is a great host, welcomes you and nothing us too much for him including bringing firewood to your site. Great walks around the vineyard. Going back soon

Camping sites and chalets in Slanghoek. I wish I could give a 3.5 rating. The setting is beautiful, the sites are clean. Each stand gets its own key for a Shower and toilet. Hot water and clean as well. No grass though, just soft dark ground everywhere. The river, while maybe great for kayaks etc, not that great for swimming. Lots and lots of boulders. The location close to Cape Town is great though.

What a beautiful spot right on the river. Vineyards everywhere and beautiful mountains to hike and explore on. I climbed the small "koppie" on the far and the views were incredible. Would definitely return and recommend for both camping and staying in the small houses.

Camped there during January 2022. Incredible camp sites right on the riverbank. Pieter the owner, went out of his way to make us feel at home. Beautiful mountains and vineyards surrounding the campsite. We’ll defenitely visit again!

Lovely walks in vineyard. Dog friendly campsite. Kids had lots of fun playing in the river. And each site gets its own bathroom so no communal blocks. Also very reasonable rates and beautiful surrounds.

This is our "go to" campsite. The shade sites, with private ablutions located next to a river with plenty walks and wine farms in the area is a winner for us ! And to top it all - Pieter is always very friendly and attentive .

A highly recommended gem in the Slanghoek Valley!! We had a wonderful stay at one of the cottages which was fully equipped for self catering and had thé best view up river. The cottages and campsites are all situated a couple of metres from the Breede River. We just loved the absolute peace and tranquility. We'll be back again soon!

Lovely shaded campsites, each campsite has its own private ablution. We were a group of ladies and felt very safe there. It was a pity the river was dry and we missed having grass underfoot but we will go there again. Pieter was very helpful and accommodating.
