On the way back to Gauteng, did an early stop for a Americano and a Cappuccino. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. Remained friendly even when faced with intolerable people. The customer before us was rude, no greeting or such, stipulated his requirements in a condescending done, no please or thank you, yet the staff remained smiling and friendly. Well done. Coffee was great.

Strictly halaal which is perfect 👍 However, they don't have the normal menu options. For example swop your fries and onion rings for hot veg... But that did not affect anything, the food was delicious and service great 👌 Thanks Sandra for being so friendly 😊

I used to love having my vida e coffee and a Spur cheese burger here at the Breede. Sadly you're no longer allowed to have a sit down meal with your favourite beverage if it's not from Spur. Guess I just had my last Spur Burger. Fair well with your seperatist rules. Go Vida e!

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our food took 53 minutes and we had to walk to the kitchen to get our food because they forgot all 3 separate orders. When we did get our order it was incorrect. The staff are a joke. Bad attitude. After telling the manager he said it was because our friend ordered no pickles and tomatoes so they had to change it, but the burger still came with pickles and tomatoes, not apologetic just made excuses. Not worth your time.

Service is not the greatest however its not the worst either. Its a good place to stop for something to eat and mission to the bathroom, which are really clean. The food served is good yet they can take long with orders even though the place is empty. So don't expect to rush in and out as that's not going to happen. Parking is plentiful and easy too.

Next to the N1, we stopped here for dinner with the kids on our way back to Cape Town. A Neat little spur with takeaway and sit down area. Has wooden play area outside for the kids. Service was good and friendly

I decided to give the N1 stop a second chance as my previous experience at Cafe Vida E was terrible. Well, Spur has joined Vida E, the wait was long for a take away. When our burgers finally arrived, we had no eating utensils, and the chips and onion rings were cold and tasted old.

I'm not one to complain but this was really not a nice experience I got here. The steak I ordered was good no complaints but the wings was raw(pink raw) I sent it back, okay they brought it back only put it in the microwave but I didn't eat further on it I ate on the other food. Right I got home wanted to eat on the doggybag. Heat up my food and I dug into the wings the first bite was legit the rawest thing I ever bit into couldn't even eat the rest of it and threw all of it away. The waiter we got was decent although she didn't bring us the bill after we ate okay I then went to pay at the till, waited there for more than 2min just for the woman to hear me call her and notice that I was behind her because she was on her phone texting on whatsapp. Really the worst service I've gotten from any spur.

What an absolute surprise to find this completely halaal facility on the N1 a comfortable distance from Cape Town. Service, although a bit slow, the food was well prepared, tasty and sumptuous. The coffee was strong, full bodied and thankfully not bitter. Loved the staff, who served with a smile, easy to talk too about menu options, and was forever attentive. Plan on making this my breakfast, lunch or supper stop whenever I use the Worcester route out/to town.

Cold, rainy, windy Saturday morning with a 2 year old. What to do? Solution was a great breakfast at this excellent Spur served by the amazing Anicia, while our grandson had supervised fun on the jungle gym. Very positive experience. We'll be back. Thanks, guys, especially Anicia.

We had a super breakfast and coffee at this Spur N1( North bound). The place was clean and service efficient and friendly .

I had a stop at this Shell Garage to buy a coffee. I went to Grill and Go, while I was paying, a staff at Vida (which is next to Grill and Go) commented on my looks. The person helping me at Grill and Go, Abigail, told the man that I am married. She did this without a beat before I could even react or comprehend how the Vida staff member could catcall me. Not only was I not interacting with the staff at Vida, I wasn't even ordering from Vida. So to be told that I look a certain way by a Vida staff member made me uncomfortable. It was inappropriate, unsolicited and should have never happened in the first place. Thank you, Abigail, for telling the man I was married. Married or not, no one ordering food and beverages at a petrol station or anywhere would want the type of comment the Vida staff member made. Thank you, Abigail!

Food is incredible! Hand down the best cheese burger I have had in a while! The staff are quick with the food and super friendly! The atmosphere is comftable and relaxing!

The Halaal Spur is on the one side of the road going towards Cape Town, enjoyed our breakfast and the service was good. Definitely worth a stop on your way while going to your destination.

A very convenient stop on the N1. There is a Shell petrol station, Spur Grill n Go, a vida e caffe, ATMs, Spar, very clean and well kept toilets, seating area - indoors and outdoors with designated smoking area. Find anything you need for refreshing stop along the road!

Could not enjoy our Vida e-cafe chai and latte with a Spur meal as Spur's staff conveniently forgot to mention that they are halaal and that Vida's products cannot be seen or enjoyed (in conjunction) with Spur products or in the area. We respected that and opted to have the cheese and "bacon substituted product" with chips and a coffee made in the complimentary coffee travel mug. However, it was the most awful coffee We've ever tasted ..... Ever..... Watered down..... I ate my sandwich and threw all our coffee(s) down the sink which was next to our table. I did not even bothered to ask for another coffee for any of us as I did not believe they can do much better. Next time travelling through that area, Spur Grill & Go Breede will not be on my list of stops!! Luckily Zero stars is not an option!

We stopped at Spur on the North side for lunch on our way to our destination - had such good service and food, we decided to have breakfast on our way back at the South side one, we honestly had the worst service, our waiter was terrible at her job, got a lot of our orders wrong and on top of that she was so slow - didn’t even bother to come and ask us if our food was good or if we needed anything else etc. We were done eating with all of our plates and glasses/cups in front of us - she was looking right at us, we were trying to get her attention to ask for the bill - she didn’t even bother to come to us, we stood up and paid at the front eventually after waiting too long. Was so disgusted.

Yeah, we stopped over for a lunch, and enjpyed the most superb and friendly service, and the food was good. Nice and secure and plenty parking

Was passing by Spur (Breede Valley) en route to Cape Town and discovered this branch is fully halal. Staff were attentive and food was great.
