👍👍 Lovely hiking trails with a myriad of wildflowers and trees. A photographers paradise. Bring along your loads of memory cards, batteries and time. Remember your sunscreen, sunhat, water and a jacket. It can get chilly very quickly. There is enough to do for the whole family old and young. People often mention braai, picnic,

So serene! Absolutely stunning here. Weren't many flowers at this time of year but still worth going. Beautiful walkways and extremely relaxing. Ponds full of Lilly's. Could spend hours here.

Beautiful mountainous surroundings. Perfect place to enjoy a South African braai. Family friendly. Don't forget to visit the waterfall just around the corner from the Botanical Garden.

Wonderful and easy hike beyond a picnic and braai park. There are so many branches from the main route but it all leads back on itself so you can't get lost. Some shade, some open bits. Bring a hat and water if it's hot outside.

It's such a wonderful place that accommodates various activities. There are plenty of braai spots and they are regularly cleaned and maintained. The wild flower garden is in good condition and you can choose anything from a short five minute walk to a much longer stroll. The toilets are clean and there is also security visible which does a lot to ensure safety. No music is allowed and this gives a very peaceful atmosphere. Best thing: The whole place is free.

Lovely and peaceful place. You have to drive off road to get here though. Has picnic tables and benches and each section has its own built in braai.

Loved the hiking trail. We walked over 11 km without realizing it. Will recommend you go early to get more shade before the heat. Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, water and some food or energy snacks. There us a great spot next to running water to sit and have brunch that you bring along. Loved it. #Tranquility #Awesomenature

"No music or any noise allowed" is one of the rules that touched me. The place is therapeutic and so refreshing. It gives you time to find yourself. I also liked the staggered resting benches through out the garden.

Beautiful place. Walk the walking trails to the top of Paarl Rock with views of Paarl and surroundings and Table Mountain in the background. If you do decide to walk ensure you have enough water, snacks, sun screen, cap and good walking shoes.

As a place to braai it is great. Clean, neat, good bathrooms, and free. In a lovely surrounding. The braai places are a little dilapidated, but that is minor.

Incredible place to visit for a couple hours or to have a picnic at one of the many braai spots. It's extremely clean and well looked after. Also feels very safe, kinda like Table Mountain 20 years ago.

The picnic area was clean, no loud music, although there were a lot of people. The rest rooms were clean. It is a pity that some of the picnic tables are not under the trees.
