Stayed here for one night on 1st April 2023 in my 19” caravan on a ensuite site. Friendly staff, and good amenities. Close to Blackheath town. 15mins to Katoomba. Great park across the road. Site was large, well marked, and easy to park. Ensuite was a good size and clean. I’ll come back for sure.

Avoid the unpowered sites - only use powered sites. I hate leaving a bad review but feel that anyone expecting space, level ground and a nice view should look elsewhere unfortunately. The unpowered section of this campsite is the worst I've seen. The rest of the park looked fine and I think my experience would be different if we'd known to ask for a powered site. Good warm showers, great camp kitchen, friendly and helpful groundskeepers. Please do something about the unpowered section.

Amenities were not cleaned for two days. Bins were filthy. Old mattress just left leaning against a shed? Owners'/caretakers collection of junk on display for all to see in their garage. Grounds needed a general tidy up.

Dealing with the managers Ang and Dan was beyond easy. The place is well kept and you’re made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive! Clean, tidy with beautiful views! Cabins are amazing and perfect for families! We will be back for sure.

We stayed in a tent which was glamping. It was fabulous. The caravan park is beautiful and compact. Perfect location for sightseeing and bush walking in the Blackheath area.

Very helpful site managers here. Park is very clean, and sites are well maintained. Stayed here for three nights (Thurs night to Sunday) and couldn't find any faults with the caravan site or amenities. There are also caravan sites available with private free-standing ensuites. $47/night for power and water. Stayed here previously and would stay here again.

Great dog friendly caravan park! We stayed here for a week while we explored the Blue Mountains. Blackheath has some beautiful bushwalks that are dog friendly too! Friendly staff in a well looked after park, it had everything we needed. Thanks Daniel and Angela 😊

Wow.. Incredibly rude staff member on today! My partner and I spent the night at the sister park last night (katoomba falls) and we were very impressed with the gent that booked us in as he went over and above to help us plan out some good walks. We then checked out and made sure our site (no 17) was all clean and headed to blackheath glen for our next night. We arrived at the park just after 9:30 to see if our site was vacant and the office was locked and empty (even though the hours are 8-5) so we dialled the after hours number and spoke with the rudest woman who grunted and told us she would come to the office and check. As she walked over we smiled and said goodmorning and she completely ignored us, we then asked how’s your morning going to which she replied “IT WAS FINE UNTIL YOU CALLED” and rolled her eyes. She storms into the office and says immediately “site 26 is full” we said no worries we will wait until they check out and she grunts and bluntly says “CHECK IN AT 12”. The park looks completely empty there is 5 powered sites with no one in them just at the gate alone and she is clearly just in a terrible mood. Not acceptable to treat customers like this and considering we stayed at the sister park last night and booked them both together on the same day on the same website it seems a little unreasonable to not allow early check in after staying in one of their parks last night.

Stayed in a cabin. It's clean and tidy and quiet. Didn't get sheets or towels for all guests which I think was an oversight but apart from that it was a good stay. Park across the street for the kids and a public pool behind that. Close to the main street. 10 min walk.

Very disappointed with the park. Grounds very untidy and badly needs mowing. Bin area filthy. Bins look as if they have never been washed out and are very smelly. Didn't want to touch them as they were filthy. Amenities need a good clean, especially the floors. The grass was very long on the unpowered sites. The camp kitchen looked good even though we didn't use it and found the staff to be friendly. Very overpriced for the state of the park and no facilities and no TV reception. We are now at a beautiful caravan park overlooking the beach and paying the same price. There is no comparison between the parks. We have beautiful amenities, manicured lawns and state of the art camp kitchen. We would not stop at Blackheath again.

Recently stayed here. The weather was freezing but nice and warm inside the cabin. Angela and Daniel in reception were very friendly and went above and beyond to answer our enquiries. Will definitely stay here again

Stayed 3 nights and wish it was more. Helpful staff. We stayed at a 3 bedroom Blue Gum cabin which had high ceilings, clean and spacious. Easy access to local amenities like the pool, restaurants. Very quite place. They have a fairly large kitchen area for campers, bbq spots, clothes lines etc Only downside is had bad mobile reception. You need to pay to get some reasonable internet connection. Free WiFi barely works unless you are close to the reception area or early mornings when there's low usage.

Nice place to stay but had to listen to the sound of a rock breaker all day. Would have been nice to be told as we would have come at a later date.

What a great spot to stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Camp kitchen good. Amenities are good, old but they are looking at upgrading. Big sites. Park across the road also a duck pond. Pool would be good in summer time. Cold and windy 😀 it is winter time after all.

Naja, kenne beide Orte. Katomba ist größer, belebter und es gibt mehr Infrastruktur, Blackheath ist gemütlicher und mehr was für die Einheimischen.

Really great caravan park. Stayed a couple nights in an ensuite site with a camper, the ensuite was one of the best we’ve been in. Very clean, modern and spacious. Park itself is great, location is not too far from town and amenities.

We usually prefer to camp off grid but I would like to take time to mention how great facilities were for young children and babies. They have a seperate wash room which has a toilet, small shower and two large laundry tubs great for bathing kids. They also have a plastic baby bath that can be used. This was a big win for us, as usually at caravan parks we either take them into the shower with us or just bucket bath bub.

We stayed here recently park and location is beautiful. Park very tidy. A couple of negatives tho The waste management bin comes to empty the skip bins which are where the caravan sites are at 5.45am and wow you are awake with that noise, surprising as the park has strict guidelines on noise from it's patrons Get to the showers early otherwise there will be no hot water left Site 29 tight for a 21' caravan to reverse into due to location of skip bins

A holiday park with clean and well-maintained facilities. We especially enjoyed the communal kitchen during a 0-degree evening. However, coming from their sister park in Katoomba, we missed the heating in the bathrooms. Finally, this was probably a one-off, and we are all human. Still, we had to rearrange our evening plans to drive to the park before reception closed as a result of them not answering the phone and not returning the calls after leaving a voicemail saying that we were going to arrive after 5 pm (when reception closes). Nonetheless, the staff we interacted with upon our arrival were friendly and apologetic.

We had a lovely stay at Blackheath Glen Tourist Park in our motorhome. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the park and facilities very clean. It was a great base to explore the magnificent Blue Mountains. Thank you to all at Blackheath Glen.

Incredibly expensive for an unpowered site in the middle of the week. Facilities were ok. View was great but marred by a giant industrial waste bin in front of a natural water course.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity / MCS / migraine review: the chemicals used to clean the amenities block, kitchen and cabins are low in fragrance. The bedsheets in the cabins are fragranced. I was able to stay in a cabin by keeping the bedroom door closed and sleeping on the couch using my own linen. Staff were friendly and helpful. Setting was very peaceful.

A very clean and tidy small park. Hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful with local advice. It is very peaceful if you are after somewhere quiet. Sites are quite large, surrounded by native bushland. I would highly recommend this park. Not much for little kids to do here though which suited us fine.

A beautiful Caravan Park. The park is in a little hollow in the Blue Mountains. Lovely grassy grounds, lots of beautiful birds, clean facilities. Only stayed for 1 night but would have liked to stay much longer.

Excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Flexible check out times to allow for sight seeing. Clean and neat amenities. Good sites, close to town centre with easy access. TV reception isn't great but it's down in a small valley. Awesome stop over or few days stay to look around the Blue Mountains. We have our own caravan but the cabins, camping and camp kitchen all look new, modern and good value. Will come again.

Facilities were really clean and tidy, staff were very friendly, however we booked over Christmas thinking it had a pool. It doesnt; there is a public pool nearby which isn't always open. There isn't really WiFi either, if you manage to connect then its so slow as to be unusable.

Good caravan park located in a very convenient location in Blackheath. Really good spot if you want to camp within the Blue Mountains as there are not many caravan parks around. Short walk to shops and supermarket. Unpowered campsites are isolated from the rest of the sites. You will need to walk about 50-100 metres uphill to get to amenities. Clean bathroom and BBQ facilities. Only one bin at the end of the unpowered camping area. No bins in bathroom or camp kitchen. Overall, fair priced camp sites for central Blue Mountains. Short drive to a few of the region's best waterfall and hikes. Thank you for a nice stay!

If it would cost 27,- for the extremely small unpowered site instead of 47,- it would be acceptable.

During my 6 night stay here, I was overall very impressed. The amenities were clean, with disabled bathrooms and showers, however one or two of the shower heads in the men's weren't properly functioning. There were also washing machines and dryers available for $4. The camp kitchen was above our expectation, as it had outside BBQs, and microwaves, kettles and other kitchen appliances inside. It's a great spot of refuge in the cold rain. The caravan/camping spots themselves were all flat except some on end near #35 where the plot itself was flat, but there were slopes in-between spots (not great for groups of campers). The tourist Park was close to many great bush walks and attractions, my personal favourites while staying there was scenic world - a must visit - and hanging Rock, a great view of the blue mountains, with a 11km fire trail to get there.
