We had our wedding reception aboard Starship Aqua in March. Ingrid, Ben and the entire Starship team were fantastic!! From the start nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to work with us to create our vision for our wedding. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our reception was!! On the night service & food was 5 star and everything went perfectly to plan.

The most amazing wedding venue in Sydney hands down. After many disappointing meeting with various reception centres around Sydney we stumbled across the beautiful Starship and it's fabulous leader Ben. Every other place we looked at was lacking in some way but after spending an hour on the Starship with the team we knew this venue was perfect. The venue was spectacular with views of all aspects of Sydney harbour. The guests are still raving about how amazing the food was (the chef did a super job even designing a special dish that appealed to us and our family). I would visit the Starship on some weekends to get some design inspiration and every time I arrived and met with the team it was like greeting life long friends. The day was seamless in terms of the organisation. There was nothing out of place and everything was completely perfect. If you are looking for a venue that goes above and beyond and makes your wedding a stress free yet magnificent extravaganza, then the Starship is for you. I can only hope one of my friends picks this venue so I can relive the magical experience all over again. Thanks Ben and the team, you guys are beyond brilliant!

I have been to many events on Starship and every experience has been amazing. The food and service is exceptional. Each time I have been on Starship for NYE, Australia Day or Vivid, the captain has always ensured we have had a prime position for fireworks or harbour events. Thank you to Ben and the team, you are always a pleasure to deal with.

It was a gr8 experience and the family had a lot of fun on the Vivid Sydney cruise. The live music and food onboard was worth appreciation. The live performances were just superb. Thanks for this.

21/09/2019 went on a cruise on Starship Sydney. It was fantastic. Our cruised was organised by the University of Colombo Alumni NSW. It was a Golden Ball, a cruise dance and Dine on luxury Starship. Everything went on beautifully. The service was great. The music was beyond best. Sri Lankan Baila music. Beautiful views of the Darling Harbour and the Opera House. You could not ask for anything more. This an amazing way to celebrate your special event / events. There is no doubt about it.It was a unique night full of fun and dancing.

Would like to thank Benjamin and his team who always go above and beyond to ensure that we have a great time. We have held our staff Christmas party on the "Pontoon and Starship Aqua" boat for a number of years now and I can't think of a better way to cruise around the Harbour. The food is amazing, the service is always brilliant and always a huge success and that is why we keep on coming back. Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

We've had the most wonderful experience of having our son's wedding and reception abroad the Starship Sydney. We couldn't have asked for a better venue, the high quality of food & wait staff. The booking procedure was done with clockwork precision & professional ism of Ingrid & Benjamin. Every minute detail was taken care of & we were overwhelmed by the outcome. The crew and staff of this beautiful ship did a great job. Excellent Harbour cruise showing us both sides of the Sydney Harbour bridge. Magnificent panorama’s on Sydney from the water. Plenty of Seats lots of places to sit and enjoy. The cruise inside the with boat is very modern and comfortable with ceiling to wall glass for great views during cruising. Fantastic wedding dinner banquet on the ship. All in all, a day to enjoy Everything was amazing, the service by staff, drink service and the quality of the food was hard to believe, it was exceptional. If you have a special function like a wedding or birthday and are looking for something different. Then can absolutely recommend Starship Sydney what a way to enjoy Sydney Harbour.

Great panoramic views of sydney bay, with great tasting food options. We did the Vivid cruise and found it had something for all of us in the family. Tasty ? nachos, fish and chips And nice hot chocolate to keep us warm. It is a worthwhile experience and a good way to see Vivid from the water.

Our wedding on the Starship Aqua was a beautiful and truly special experience. Our guests were amazed with the venue and the view of the Sydney Harbour. We loved it. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, it was a delight working with them.

What a fantastic venue for a wedding. The staff and service is to notch. The food was impeccable. The scenery to die for. Anyone who is considering hosting a wedding should take a serious look at this venue. We were beyond thrilled with our experience.

We spent the NYE on this cruise, Unlimited champagne and beers. A lot of food but the quality was not the best… We got the best view to the fireworks. The music was very good. We had a very good time. It’s probably worth the money

We had a wedding in starship back in August 2017. It was a memorable night for our guests from both local and overseas that night. The view was phenomenal, the food was good. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We had our wedding on the Starship in January, and have to say it was just amazing! We had so many people telling us what a memorable experience they had, from the organisation to the staff on the day. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day, thank you to Ingrid, Benjamin and the staff you made our day !

went on a Vivid cruise with one of their all glass multi level boat. live band on board throughout the entire journey. there were fire twirlers towards the end of the cruise. it's a really nice cruise. do pretty for old weather coz the top deck is cold... and if you are taking photos, wear gloves otherwise you won't feel your fingers...

Great staff and facilities, great views from all angles and a lovely cross breeze on the extremely hot day - Australia Day 2019. Good value for money - this cruise was under $40 for three hours. Food on offer was good quality and very reasonably priced - fish and chips for $10 or $15 (can't remember) and 12 HUGE king prawns with a bowl of lovely dressing, lemon, towelettes and seaweed salad for $38. They were fantastic and perfect for Australia Day dining. Highly recommend.

The Australia Day 2020 cruise was like a bad college party. Massively overcrowded with far too many tickets sold, people sitting on the floor since there were no seats, AC that couldn’t cope with the overcrowding/heat, bad music at maximum volume and poor quality food/drinks. It also didn’t leave until nearly 30 mins after the departure time... When we raised our concerns with the cruise director, we were told that there was plenty of seating on the top level where there is no shade on a 35 degree day and it wasn’t their fault it was hot. He claimed they could have up to 1000 people on board - I guess that’s how many life jackets they have? It was apparently too hard for their staff to organise the seating to make the most of the available seats since there were bags strewn over seats everywhere. Starship Sydney has taken a big turn for the worse - I guess they’re struggling with competition from the newer boats on the harbour and need to do a quick cash grab

Fantastic evening aboard of this floating reception centre. Great service and plenty of food. There’s three levels, an outdoor balcony and a top deck open to the stars. The cruise went past the amazing sights on the harbour and even though there was plenty of swell the boat was really stable.

Absolutely loved their Vivid cruise, food was great, and the entertainment on board was superb! Maybe taking on less bookings would be better though as I saw there were not enough seats for all the guests.

What a fantastic evening we spent aboard The Starship!! We had an amazing cruise around the harbour, enjoying spectacular views of Vivid 2019. I can’t rate this company highly enough. Well stocked and well priced bar, great food available, superb entertainment including a very talented duo, fire eaters and dancers, a free photo booth and amazing staff including a fantastic manager, Benjamin James who went above and beyond, resulted in a perfect evening for our family! I celebrated my 50th aboard Starship Aqua and it was such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend Starship for any special occasion. Geraldine was very helpful and always happy to assist with any of my requests.

Attended a wedding over the weekend, Ship was beautifully set up but food was ridiculous. Portions were so tiny and didn't taste good at all. The Lady waiting on our table was very nice and polite but the only disappointment was the food. Pay so much money just to eat left overs.

What a wonderful venue for a wedding or any event. Geraldine and Marina were so lovely to work with and nothing was ever a bother, their suggestions were appreciated and they worked hard to make us happy and accommodate us on our special day. Would highly recommend

Great experience on a party I attended recently. Cruise was on time, magnificent decor with 2 levels of awesome views along with access to the deck. The staff were extremely accommodating.

I loved all the boat the waiters there were some french waiters all were super cool I loved to celebrate the new year 2019 on this boat thanks for the good memories it was the first time for me and my husband and it was the most beautiful experience of my live I love you good continuation guys

Everything from the professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of the staff and crew to the tasteful food and selection of beverages available helped make this evening an amazing success. Special thanks to Marina who was always available during the planning stages. Your guidance and patience with our numerous changes were greatly appreciated.

Vivid cruise is a joke. they didnt even went in circular quay hardly got any views for opera house graphics and custom house was not covered at all.

From the moment we stepped onboard we were impressed with not only the friendly welcome by the staff but also by the luxury of the Starship. For two years in a row, we have been on the Starship Sydney for the Australia Day Harbour Cruise. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful and everything is just wonderful. Thankyou to all who worked on the boat and behind the scenes to make the cruise a memorable one. I highly recommend!

We organised our 2018 corporate Christmas party on board the Starship Sydney - our experience was amazing! Ingrid and Ben were so very accommodating and the evening was a huge success!

On board for Australia Day 2019 Lunch Cruise with a group of 15 people. There must have been 600+ people on board (and probably closer to 900).....far too many for it to be comfortable. The air conditioning, although working, was almost useless against all that body heat.....and it was such a hot day - around 35 degrees. The lower deck was bearable but the mid level deck was hot as hell. The food was very disappointing.....fish n chips, prawns, Asian salad bowl, meat pies (of which I didn’t see any). The only “dessert” was a single serve ice cream cone for $5.00! Where was the cold lamb and other cold meats? Where were the beautiful salads? Where were the lamingtons? Where were the pavlovas? Where were the cheesecakes? All these are typically Australian foods....which everyone expects on Australia Day, but they were nowhere to be seen. Fish n chips are English. Asian salad is Asian. The only Aussie food on offer were the prawns, but at $38.00 for 12 they were hugely overpriced. The website stated there would be an Aussie BBQ but, obviously, that never eventuated. And don’t get me started on the seating! Four of my group stood in the 35 degree heat on the dock in readiness to board just to secure two tables and 15 chairs to seat us all. AND they were abused by another guest for having done so! There were not enough tables and chairs for all the guests.....some people had to sit on benches around the perimeter of the boat without any tables at all. On top of all this, before we even boarded, we were made to stand on the dock in the heat because they wouldn’t allow us to board. Other boats allowed their guests to board as they arrived and so avoided the pushing and shoving that occurred to board the Starship. AND NOW.....having said all this, I know you guys can do better. This is the third Australia Day Lunch Cruise on the Starship that I have been on and it is BY FAR the worst. PLEASE....for all our sakes.....go back to how you used to conduct the cruise. Reserved tables. Fewer people. MUCH better food (buffet). It seems as though the owners are just making a “cash grab” - taking advantage of the occasion and not caring about overcrowding what is, in my opinion, the best events boat on Sydney Harbour.
