🫤 Disappointing. Went there for my birthday because of good reviews. Underwhelmed by most of the dishes. Dumplings were not flavourful. Super tasty Chinese lunch. My partner and I ordered a few dishes to try and we were super impressed with the Mongolian sizzling beef! Definitely a very authentic vegan Chinese restaurant.

Disappointing. Went there for my birthday because of good reviews. Underwhelmed by most of the dishes. Dumplings were not flavourful. And definitely could not actually taste or smell the pandan favour. Wanton soup was really tasty but the wantons were not. Sizzling beef was tasty. Very expensive dishes. And I don't understand why we were asked whether we wanted to order so many times when the next table was not harassed. There was hardly anyone there. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience. Regretted going there for my birthday.

Great restaurant for vegetarians and vegans. The waiting staff are down to earth and friendly. The braised eggplant main was tangy and well balanced. We also ordered the cumin chilli mock beef which was my favourite. The signature fried rice was the best fried rice I've had anywhere, and it seemed to be a favourite on many of the tables around us. Although not worth taking any stars off, the view from the restaurant is of the car park, and all BYO wines need to be vegan.

Amazing food. We came twice and had the normal menu for dinner then again for weekend yum char. Honestly the food was sooo amazing and most people can’t believe it’s not meat. The mocktail was amazingly delicious. I can’t wait to come back! Worth the trip to Sydney for this! The Ham Sui Gok was legit and the calamari better than the meat version. Don’t pass on the fried rice rolls nor beetroot and pandan dumplings either!

A rare find and a truly simple and wholesome vegetarian restaurant, not pretentious, easy going and friendly experience. Loved the chinese tea kept warm in a pot! We also enjoyed the char siu, mongolian beef, prawn cutlets with steamed rice very much and will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu.

If you really have to go over the bridge for a vegan feed this is definitely one to make the trek worth it. Green sprouts take a range of traditional Chinese dishes and well makes them like they should be but with faux meats and they do it really well. The radish cake was a little off but the rest of the dishes were pretty special. The hotpot was supposed to be tofu but it was rammed with faux pork, fish and duck. The salt and pepper squid was amazing, the batter crispy and perfectly seasoned. The staff were really friendly and the place is spacious. Perfect for a large gathering. Will cross the bridge to no man's land again.

First time visiting this restaurant for lunch and as vegetarians it was a must. We both had the San Choy Bow (which was lucky they had the lettuce leaves for) followed by a healthy portion of Singapore Noodles. Both dishes were good value and piping hot. All this helped down with a pot of warming and refreshing lemongrass and ginger tea. I would recommend this restaurant and these dishes to everyone, vegetarian or not, they are very filling and tasty. Thank you Green Sprouts

Absolutely amazing. Delivery came so fast despite the huge expected wait time. Cannot believe this is all vegan, as a meat eater this was still the best i’ve ever had! Couldn’t recommend enough

So glad we tried Green Sprouts for a family birthday dinner last night. From the moment we set foot in the restaurant to the moment we left, we loved it. The service was attentive but homely and the food was absolutely superb! So many choices and all were so so good. It makes the world of difference to be able to order anything straight from a menu including dessert. This restaurant is a little vegan gem. We are already planning our return visit

This is a nice quiet spot with fabulous food. The dumplings are great, I’d love to come back for yum cha. I can definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

A warmer greeting you will not receive even at home. This bright and serene restaurant is around back on the second floor of a mall and is an oasis. It has one of the most extensive vegan Chinese menus I have seen - with old, traditional favorites and some regional surprises. The vegetables are bright and fresh; the dishes cooked to perfection. The hot and sour soup was rich but not oily; the Peking duck is a marvelous and evocative surprise; beef and broccoli excellent. Every dish that passed by me for the next table was a temptation.

Vegan gem in lower north shore with such an extensive vegan Chinese menu. We tried dumplings and dessert. The dumplings were fresh and full of flavour. Even my 1 year old enjoyed them. The place is huge with good outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and service can be better but food is so good that it’s negligible. Reasonably priced, parking not too hard to find and great vibe overall. Can’t wait to go back to try all the items on the menu! Ps:- there is no dessert on menu so ask the staff and they will share the options with you.

This is the best vegan place in Sydney. We go regularly and the food is outstanding. The yum cha is just incredible. Wish they opened more stores.

AMAZING FOOD and really friendly staffs!! I would highly recommend it!! I went there with a group of friends for my partners birthday. My partner and I were the only vegan/vegetarian. We ordered the Gokd set menu and we were surprised with the food. Everything was DELICIOUS! Fresh ingredients and everything tasted soo good! Everyone loved it! The Pekking Duck and the dumplings were my favourites. The staffs were incredibly friendly! They helped me to make a surprise for my partner in the beginning and at the end I ordered some mango pancakes (also really nice) and asked if the coukd add a candle. Not only they added a candle, they also put happy birthfay music and a few staffs came up singing happy birthday!! Everyone had a lovely time!! Cant wait to come back!

I thought it would be better, Honestly we were a little disappointed with this place. The food looks incredible but some of the dishes just didn't taste nice. For what you are paying I expected a lot better - I wouldn't come back, there are much better vegan eats in Sydney

No other option but to give this fine establishment 5 stars. One of my top recommendations for Lower North Shore, whether you’re vegan or not. The staff are always warm and welcoming. For a treat or special occasion this place fits the bill, because it’s not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Love it here!

Super happy to eat such a delicious meal. Only 15 minutes from the Town Hall area. My kids loved it — so many of our favorite dishes. We definitely recommend all eaters visiting Green Sprouts! It is a crowd pleaser.

Nice vegan restaurant. Went here for lunch and we had a variety of different dishes most of which tasted great. A few were a little bland flavour-wise, in particular the mango pancakes. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fine. Considering the prices which are relatively high, I rate it a solid 4 stars. Would recommend. 😊👍

My absolute favourite Asian vegan restaurant offering a wide variety of authentic delicious dishes! Every time I visit the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food never disappoints (sooo yummy!!!) My favourite go to are the roast “duck” and “pork” belly buns, these are mouth-watering must-trys!!

I couldn't recommend this place enough. Amazing vegan food, from fake duck to fake beef, including fake shrimp and squid, like what could a vegan ask for more? BYO vegan wine to add on top of their amazing range of food and exceptional service and beautiful terrace. This is definitely going to be my go-to in Neutral Bay.

Food was really good. Went here with two friends- one was vegan and the other wasn’t (I’m not vegan either). However, we all enjoyed our meal and thought it was great. The dishes were really yummy!

Honestly, one of the best vegan experiences I’ve had in Sydney. The “sizzling beef” and “sweet & sour pork” we’re remarkable. Paired with vegan wine ❤️ 100% coming back again.

Easily the best vegan food on the north side of the bridge. Also incredible service! I’ve dined in here and ordered delivery and been beyond impressed by the care and attention to detail. Ordered from here via Uber Eats last night and Uber actually cancelled my order because the restaurant had just shut, so the owner personally called me and offered to hand deliver it herself so I didn’t miss out on their delicious food. You will not go wrong by going here. I’ve taken non-vegan friends and they’ve all loved it! Just an all round amazing restaurant and business I’ll be happy to keep supporting as a long-time customer.

One of the few vegan/vegetarian restaurants on the lower north shore, sizzling with scrumptious meals from a tasty plant based Asian cuisine. We ordered the signature Peking Duck pancakes, radish cakes, handmade beetroot dumplings and the tofu pot, which had lots of yummy additions! Very generous servings in an open space with relaxing ambience! Carmen was lovely to chat to, she explained the menu and reccomended wonderful dishes. Suggest to make a booking as it got full early on a Sunday evening! Will be back again. Thanks for the great food and customer service!

Divine & fresh pan seared radish cakes & piping tofu claypot was our favorite. The freshly steamed chilli smoke soy beetroot dumplings & wontons w homemade chili sauce was pretty good too. We will definitely return to try more dishes. Carmen the owner & waitress was very hospitable & friendly. Excellent service during mid week lunch.

Really delicious vegetarian food, and well-priced! The Peking duck and sizzling Mongolian beef were great, and we devoured every bite. We didn’t try the dumplings but they looked amazing! We will definitely be back - thank you Green Sprouts :)

Great vegan restaurant that serves a variety of dumplings that’s great for Yum Cha and is vegan! The Singapore stir fried noodle was really tasty and signature fried rice was really delicious too. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Amazing vegan restaurant with delicious vegan meat dishes! It was lovely to experience authentic Chinese dishes that I have not had ever since going vegetarian many years ago. The presentation of the food was delightful, with great attention to detail. The tea was also very enjoyable. Will definitely return in the future to try out more of the menu!

Absolutely amazing food, I have tried a wide variety of vegan food and been to plenty of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, this place is by far one of the best ones I have been to! Highly recommend the Mongolian ‘beef‘ 👌🏼👌🏼

We finally got there after coming out of lockdown. We have been watching this restaurant on Instagram and couldn’t wait to try it. Loved it. Highly recommended. So many dishes to choose from so we’ll definitely have to go back.
