As a swimmer of Norwest Swim Club, I feel very grateful for having a great set of coaches that have amazing knowledge and skills. There is a positive swimming environment and we are very fortunate to have such great facilities. I would recommend this club to anyone from young kids, teenagers or individuals seeking for fitness training and/or competitive swimming.

WSA is an exceptional team of dedicated, friendly and extremely well organised and experienced coaches. I joined their program and have been nothing but stoked with what I have experienced. Sounds like some of these people are trolling because they are jealous of the program that has taken over and exceeded the preceding program. Couldn’t recommend these guys more highly.

What an Utter Joke These coaches are nothing but dishonest with no integrity in the sport of swimming. For years this club has been trying to get local clubs kicked out of their pools to obtain lane space all for their own self personal gain and not because they truly care about the swimmers or the sport of swimming. They have now kicked out our beloved Carlile club from our own pool and we have lost the most amazing coaches who were dedicated and truly cared about the progression of our swimmers and the sport. These Coaches now have no JOBS during Covid all because of greed. Be very careful with the false promises they will tell you as there coaching staff are inexperienced either from overseas or from previous admin jobs or teenagers just finishing school with no knowledge. There stroke correction and promises of getting your swimmer to the next level are false as they are only after you hard earned $$$$$$ to line their pockets. Real business men do not do under the table dodgy deals behind other coaches or clubs backs and those that do all I can say is SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

We are extremely happy with the coaches at Norwest swimming club. I dont want to be involved with the politics , i just want my kids to be able to swim to the best of their ability. We have found Jake to be nothing but professional with a genuine interest in the kids. My daughter is loving her training and the friendly environment, she is achieving PB'S and looking forward to what the future holds.

After years in intense environments it is fantastic to come into a pool with the ideals of improvement and fun, setting performance aside as a biproduct of these which does occur. I look forward to going to every session (something which hasn't happened for years) to not only improve myself but also the younger kids around me who still have so much potential. The coaches have young ideals and a wealth of experience to match this.

Training under Jake, I was able to reach all my goals I had within the sport. The years off experience all the coaches have, both in and out of the pool, produces an invaluable environment for any swimmer to reach their greatest potential

Wow... it seems like a lot of people have it in for Western aquatics after Carlisle swimming’s lease wasn’t renewed. My son swan previously with Carlisle at Oakhill and we like most were upset when the news came that Carlisle was stopping their squad program at Oakhill. I know little about the politics involved as to why, but I understand it would be easy to blame Jake and the new swim club. Which clearly some of you do. Leaving disgruntled reviews about something you know little about is both childish and unfair. Someone beginning a new business and “giving it a go ” so to speak, doesn’t deserve that. We decided to try Western Aquatics. Jake, with his caring and passionate coaches have helped my son improve dramatically even though he was already swimming 5 times a week at Carlisle. Yes they had a couple of good coaches but it’s no different here. All the kids get on fantastically in a caring and close knit family like environment. And in all honesty from what I can see and hear from my son, it’s a actually a much nicer environment than it was with the “other club”.... To all the haters I suggest you give it a go, with an open mind and eyes you might be pleasantly surprised......5 Stars!

Traumatised that this place advertises and misled me ( a primary teacher) to take my son there at young age of 6...to have a farce of a swim assessment whereby my poor son politely endured repeatedly dropping down under water out of fear and inability to swim in very very deep water .I was stressed and called out several times to vacant unskilled teenager named Georgia. "Lift him up get my son out of water..he can't swim." I got my son out of pool ASAP fearing I'd nearly have to dive in fully clothed if I didn't maje it clear i needed my son back safely poor kid. We left shocked and i asserted to 2 teenagers conducting farce of assessment they had lied to me on phone then in person about safety and capability to give secure relaxed swim lessons. No apology or remorse for the danger they put my son in. I was wished good luck elsewhere and we left so i could console my son. I complained about the dangerous exoerience to the incompetent owner on the phone and he showed NO care or concern and to add insult to injury said " I was there i saw you and everything was fine my swim coaches did nothing wrong. That unprofessional assertion is utterly wrong frightening and never how I would respond to a parent and child. No amount of lying and cowardly denial will change the totally preventable trauma. IF only I was answered honestly that their pool did not have experienced swim instructors for non swimming child. May this post save other dear children trauma in their pool. fact..worst day of my life. children near that place unless they swim competitively. Thk you google for space yo warn others of real experience
