    Came this arvo with my partner to cop a pair of shoes, been served with the lady at the counter i believe her name is Zahraa. I asked her nicely that i wanted to change my shoes colour before i pay for it, but her face seemed unhappy. Then suddenly the way she treated me it was unpleasant. Really ruin my day. Thank you for the service!

    Worst customer service ever. No one offer help when I want to try a pair. Approached one of the female staff to get the size for Adidas Originals Oz. She just told me will bring one down for you and keep talking another staffs. I embarrassed waited for 5 minutes and watching staffs having fun with each other (no one even ask me sit down to wait). The WORST is that size 6 too big for me. I asked her if the shoes carry smaller or half size. She said NO! It doesn’t have half size and 6 is the smallest. I trust her and purchased size 6. Just now I found out in JD online: this particular one the smallest size for lady is SIZE 5 and DO CARRY HALF SIZE. Can’t be more angry because I am going to a trip tomorrow and I would like to wear my new shoes. Unfortunately, I can’t just because those irresponsible people. First and last bad reviews for you :)

    Went to JD Pitt street store this morning. How can you packed this with just only one shoe? Where is my another one? This is supposed to be a birthday gift to my friend. Can you imagine what would happen when my friend open it and wonder where this shoe is coming from? I'm so sorry for giving you a 1 star rating but this is an unacceptable mistake! Update: My friend had to go back to the shop even though he was really rushed (he has work after that). He asked to talk to the store manager, ended up with no explanation from them??? How unprofessional you are???

    The customer service at this store is so weird. Asked for a pair of shoes and waited for them to arrive from the storage room. They were delivered to the attendant and when I went to take the shoes up to the counter, she snatched the box away from me and said “wait a second”. She then called for a ‘runner’ and waited for another staff member to come and take the box up to the counter as if I wasn’t capable of doing this? Just incredibly inefficient and rude. They’re very clearly following a strict procedure and forget how to behave normally when interacting with other people.

    One of your crew were being an absolute racist, literally poc on poc crime, boasting about a no hoodie policy when other stores do not have any. The lady harassed a MINOR, even though there were other people wearing a hoodie and chased my friend outside to fight her even though she left the store no longer wanting to buy.

    This one brunette lady at the womens shoes department was extremely rude to my girlfriend and I. I asked if she could try some shoes on and she snapped and aggressive reply saying I’m not coming to you go get them. After fetching her the shoes we wanted to try it took her 20 minutes before she practically threw them at us. The shoes were nice and we said we’d buy them so she told us they’d be behind the counter when we were ready. By the time we got to the counter the shoes were nowhere to be seen. We both said F this and walked out empty handed. To the miserable low life “helping” us… thanks for ruining our day. Disgusting customer service! Get a bloody grip!!

    I went to the store last Friday (16/12/2022) to purchase a pair of Nikes ($280.00) and was standing out the front before the store opened. Whilst waiting, there was a number of other people also waiting and I saw a number of staff standing over near one of the side doors to their shop, waiting to go inside. So I walked over and said good morning to them all and asked if I could find out if they had a certain pair of Nikes that I had been looking for instore? One of the staff went to speak and there was a larger sized girl dressed in black (which I assume is the manager) that stopped them and said over the top of them “we are not working at this point, so don’t ask us any questions, ok”? To say that she has an issue with “customer service” would be an understatement. I have been to the store multiple times before and purchased from and although never had any issues, it just has never been a good store to visit, so I think that will be my last time going there. To me, it didn’t really matter, as I walked to the other side of the block onto George Street and went and purchased the shoes I was wanting from Nike “George Street” store (funnily enough, 1 staff member <the tall guy> there seems to be an idiot that needs to learn how to treat customers too), but the other staff Riley, Pat, (the Irish guy), etc… are awesome. Don’t waste your time going to JD Sports Pitt Street Mall.

    Very BAD customer service from this big butch woman upstairs at the clothing section. She clearly has no idea what she was doing and her face looks angry. I am a paying customer who is paying part of your wages so show me some respect when I asked you a question instead of rolling your hideous eyes and shrugged your hunch shoulders which makes you looked very low class. Pentland Group definitely need to get rid of these bad behaviour staff at this particular store or they won't be any customers left at this store soon.

    I feel compelled to provide feedback on my recent experience. I regret to say that my overall encounter left me disappointed due to a perceived herd-like mentality, rudeness, and a lack of attentiveness from certain staff members. I found it disheartening that some employees seemed more focused on self-promotion through their attire and attempting to create an appearance of busyness rather than prioritizing genuine customer service. This was evident in their dismissive attitude and their tendency to brush aside any opportunity for meaningful engagement. Customer service is a fundamental, and I must express my disappointment in the lack of competence demonstrated in this regard. It is disheartening when the basics, which should be a given, are overlooked and disregarded. I do want to acknowledge and give credit to those individuals who exhibited professionalism and were able to fulfill their duties competently. They stood out amidst the overall atmosphere I encountered during my interaction.

    They are holding cheap sale items. We saw a display saying it’s on sale and we asked for sizes and at first they said there’s still lots of sizes available. We waited for ages for the shoes to come just for the sales lady to tell us they became on hold. I asked if any other size is available she then told me all sizes are on hold. I’m guessing they gonna buy it themselves or what you call backdoor.

    Overwhelmed staff and nonsensical processes - if you’re thinking of trying a shoe size here, be prepared to wait up to 20 mins to even get the chance to try a size! The floor staff request a size to be brought out by another staff member. 5-10 customers standing around squeezing into small spaces. Too few staff members to manage an expectedly busy city store. I waited 20 mins to try a size 10 Nike shoe and was told that the request for the shoe to come out may have been lost and I need to wait again. Forget this place! Lots of better options within minutes.

    Not only bad customer service but also providing misleading information. Went in to enquire about shoes that were on sale, I was told they were available in my size and waited 25 mins only to learn they’re on hold for someone else. Sales assistant did not offer any alternative or solution, just wondered off to another customer. Enquired another pair of shoes - Nike AirMax GTX with another sales assistant. Waited another 20 mins, got my shoes and went to register, long line, 2 people serving, cashier busy talking to her fellow cashier about her weekend plans. At the check out I asked the cashier with blond hair what is the water resistance of the shoes to which she told me none unless I buy one of the waterproof sprays from them. Left it all together. Went to Hype, got some great trainers- more or less what I wanted and with attentive customer service. Later I learnt from the website the Nike GTX I wanted have waterproof upper. The cashier misled me and tried to sell me the spray. I can understand poor product knowledge from some sales assistants (maybe new at the job or product features not being communicated to them) but can’t justify super slow or poor customer service. Won’t be returning and will stick to other brands 👍🏼

    Today I just want to buy a pair of nike running shoes. At the beginning, a woman called (blonde hair and white skin) said she would help me get it. After waiting for half an hour, there was no news and she could not be found. Afterwards, I asked another male clerk (with a flat head and a fitness figure) to help me get the shoes. After another 20 minutes, the store was about to close and there was still no news. At this time, I happened to see the original female shop assistant and asked her when she could get the shoes, she realized that she had forgotten to help us pick up the shoes, but another male shop assistant angrily asked the female shop assistant to leave and asked us to wait ten minutes. It took me a few minutes to bring the shoes over (the shoes were thrown for me) The shoes are good but all the store staff are extremely inefficient and opinionated, google rated them as worth less There is also this male clerk, you should review your own fitness, but even 300g shoes can take so long to get poor~

    Sorry guys, absolute mess of a store. Visited twice, got mucked around twice. Once the shoes took 15 minutes to come, then they were the wrong size so another 20 minute wait ensued before I left because I wasn't waiting any longer. Second time I came in, unclear staff instructions as to what I was supposed to do once asking for the shoes to come, waited 25 minutes and nothing showed up. Asked again, another 10 minute wait and only 1 pair of the 2 pairs I requested came. Guy was genuinely helpful who assisted me, but their system is EXTREMELY flawed and miscommunication between him and warehouse/pos staff. Hope you guys can fix this issue for the next time I'm in town.

    There's a nice variety of shoes and styles, but customer service is really bad. Sellers were just hanging around, talking to each other and forgot you were there waiting for a pair of shoes. Dropping a second star just because there's a lot of different kinds of shoes to pick up from.

    The reviews make sense. One of the staff members here literally followed me in every isle like some obsessed mofo. He looked so sus of me like he was paranoid af prob on drugs that haven’t worn out, looking at me like I was going to steal something. Was hilarious af. Actually was tempting me hard to further prompt his paranoia and worsen his suspicion. I will play around next time, I’ll fiddle with things, make myself look sus and pick up loaaaaads of clothes, rearrange everything and make a huge mess. Just so I can actually give them something better to do, an actual job. Go and clean up after my mess. Haaahaaa. Keep ya busy because seems like ya ain’t got much to do if your that attentive of spying but don’t even have the decency of providing any customer service to come up and ask how you can help me. You’ll know who I am some day. I’ll be the chick who comes in and chooses a victim to be my personal assistant. I’ll make you pick more than 15-20 items for me, my size hold all of them so I don’t need to do the work of looking or holding anything, since I broke up with my ex, that was his job but now I need a new guy to hold my stuff, good luck 😉

    With respect to the store I love it, it's great because I bus that in many Adidas stores in Sydney this waist bag and I never found it, only in this store. Only after a month of use is already with the front logo that comes off at any time and the paint of the handles of the closures and also detaching. I am traveling and wanted to have a good product, but I indicate this so that it reaches the eyes of the creators and can improve in the future (look at this adidas designers).

    Staff were EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. Having attitude for no reason. Miserable. I understand that it was Black Friday, it was busy but I wasn’t being a B to any of them. Need to be retrained. The guy helping me was having major issues. Need to sort it out at home with this parents or sum. Or heal idk. The lady at the counter threw the box on the counter without even looking at me and said: “Have a good day”. How th am I supposed to be good after that? Girl bye 😂. I was taken aback for that sort of attitude. I didn’t know menopause kicked in mid 20s.

    I waited 30 min for the shoes and came wrong style, I waited more 10 min and nothing so I just gave up. The guy was super helpful and very stress with this situation but the management and system doesn’t help at all.

    Staff were helpful, nice. I am gonna give 6 🌟 for staff. What a team. Plenty variety of shoes and sports wear. But there is not swims wear. Hi store manager, i think music is way too loud, could not communicate with my partner properly cause of the music. At the moment, this JD is one of my favourite than other branch in Sydney

    Went there on Easter Weekend(Saturday) very helpful staff, we recieve really good services from a lady staff with pony tails. She was particular helpful assisting us finding the required size shoes. Made our in store experiences all that much better. Great prices/value for moneys too when items are on sale. Handy location + massive lines of latest choices(see my photos).

    I bought a crep protect praying bottle cost $30 on Saturday when the store going to close at 5 pm when I go home I found my son also have one so the next following day is Sunday I went back to the store in Pitt street near Town Hall station to ask to get the refund, the lady at register desk serving me and didn't let me refund it , she said I may used it and the bottle feel light , I don't open the lid at all and just 1 day after I bought it from JD sport . I told her this is very bad , I been shopping with Rebal for 20 years in Sydney and they please me any time I come buy and refund . I told her I would never come back to JD sport how they treat the customer like that and she replied that was ok ( seem like she doesn't care ) . When I bought this if there no refund for the produce I think they should tell me .from now on I will be looking to shop at Rebel where I am welcome anytime and always spend Money for what I need it doesn't matter how much more expensive or more cheaper . See you no more JD sport !!!

    Footlocker recommended we come here to get some hi top sneakers. We weren’t disappointed and ended up with some Jordan basketball shoes. Convenient location right at the Sydney Tower end of the Pitt St Mall. We got great assistance from the young man who served us patiently - he really knew his stuff! Have to say the same too, for the guy at Footlocker who sent us here!! All the rest of the hi tops were just fashion, we needed shoes with ankle support. Only $170 and the place was PACKED with customers!! Absolutely mind boggling variety or brands, colours, styles, variations of just shoes but what about all the OTHER STUFF!! Better be focussed!! Very efficient and speedy pickup & payment, check out, you sure as eggs won’t pick up the wrong stuff because they get you to take a photo of it before they whisk it away to the checkout area!! Well worth a visit.

    Went to the register to pay the backpack on Friday at 12:36:31 served by Claire A, she didn’t even greet customer with how are you, just a HI 👋🏻 because I started it first. She asked me to rating customer service review on eftpos. I gave 4 (expected) because the guy at the front really helpful and friendly. I expected her to close backpack zipper after detagging security tag but She didn’t. When I left she pass me the backpack in silence without even say thank you/have a great day. Hope JD manager, regional manager/head office could train her better customer service skill and how to present a stuff nicely to the customer or she could learn from a guy in-charged at the front section. It’s about common sense.
