Amazing breakfast and great facilities. Villa Söderåsen is one of those rare places you go to and just want to come back to every year. The atmosphere is great and you just feel at home from the start. Breakfast and linen are included which is a big plus! the kitchen is super nice and the staff is really helpful. The walking trails start just around the corner of the house and just 1.2 kilometers away is a lake you can swim in. We will be back next year for sure!

Had a wonderful week long stay at this beautiful villa surrounded by wilderness and warm hospitality. Great breakfast and yoga every morning with the choice of daily excursions or just relaxing on the grounds of the house. Especially liked the lake where Odin was said to have given his eye in tribute to the prophetic god, Mimir, as well as the ample blueberry foraging along the nearby canyon.

There are no words! Such a beautiful setting, you couldn't ask for a better place to escape and revitalise. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Having such a stunning slice of Swedish nature right on your doorstep is such a special treat, taking a gentle stroll through the woods and a cool dip in Odensjön. Thank you Åsa and Sebastian!

Arrived late afternoon and followed clear check-in instructions sent by text message (be sure to check your junk folder if you don't see them!). Room was simple, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the detailed guidelines provided by the owner re use of items, quiet hours, etc. Lots of active kids/families staying at the same time as us, but the hosts actually provided ear plugs just in case - I always bring my own and my SO didn't feel he needed them, so we didn't have any problems. Second floor seemed to have 2 half baths (toilet and sink), 1 full bath (toilet, sink, shower), and 1 separate shower. We almost never had to wait to use the facilities, so it barely felt like sharing. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of healthy options. Very convenient to the park, which was great given our limited time. Met the owner over breakfast - very kind and helpful as we decided on a hike for the day. Overall, lovely, comfortable, and homey place to stay the night for anyone who appreciates the coziness and friendliness of partially shared accommodations.

Great place filled with positive energy. We truly enjoyed our stay with Åsa, Sebastian and their kind and helpful staff. Perfect place to explore south Sweden or just to stay close and enjoy some long hikes in the National Park, you can enter just by walking out the door. Magical. Definitely coming back here. 🤍

One of a kind! Beautiful B&B. Sebastian and Asa were truly wonderful hosts. The property feels like a Sanctuary inside Söderåsen Forest. I traveled by myself this time but it would also be perfect for a romantic getaway. Can’t wait to go back. -Estuardo L.

Did an artist residency here and it was absolutely breath-taking to be engaged in daily nature, yoga, and mind-body connection. People are warm-hearted and genuinely care about you. Felt safe and well taken care of in the care of the family who runs the villa. They focus a lot on the details, which to me makes the experience that much better. Not to mention people are conscious about dietary sensitivities and provide local solutions. Nothing compares to the warm stay in the villa itself. With nature at our fingertips. I love that they focus on helping their community grow by showcasing the beautiful work of the local artisans; wool blankets, paintings, trinkets, lamps, etc..! Great getaway and a great way to experience Swedish culture away from the city-life.

what a heartwarming cosy place this is . My little family including our dog, enjoyed this stay very much. It felt, like we settlled down with our bigger family to celebrate the summer. The rooms are very clean and cosy. the breakfast was so good - we loved this special bread. And each evening we cooked our own meals or went to this really good restaurant at the old train station. we did some wonderful hikes in the woods and at the lake - and where sad we discovered the camping side with the pool and the slide and mini golf only the last day of our stay. The Hosts of this house are very carrying and helped us with a nice routing for our hikes and the lunch packs where just what we needed to survive our trips. I highly recommend the Kayak Trip we did. all in all _ I would come back and definitely would have loved to rent the entire place for a wedding - special bday party.
