One of the best sushi restaurants in the DMV!!! I really enjoy their chef’s special roll on the menu. They really know how to balance their sauces with freshness for their sushi. I was super excited to taste their chef’s special roll on the menu and let me tell you it’s amazing. The sushi came out beautifully and were very fresh made. Every roll on their menu is worth it !!! The creation on each roll was created beautifully. The food here is very delicious!!! They have a great selection. The quality of their sushi is phenomenal. The cheese cake on the dessert menu is great also. The staffs here are very very very friendly and very helpful. They kept this place very clean and very neat. I am highly recommend this restaurant, if you are in the Sykesville, Maryland area. This is a place you must check it out!!!

My absolutely FAVORITE sushi place. I come here every once in a while, since I don’t live close by, but every time it’s so worth it!! The taste never disappoints and the prices are great - we are always full +have a little leftovers too. Here is what me and my husband usually order and these are some of our favorites:

Excellent place for sushi! Quality of sushi is excellent and so is the price. I believe no roll was over $12 and everything was done with care. The rolls were very fresh and had the perfect amount of rice. Service was incredible! The waitress couldn't have been nicer! Super attentive but not annoyingly so. Food was served quickly and the waitress even brought out an extra roll (and dessert) for us on the house. For the quality & service alone, this is the best place to go in MD. The affordable pricing is just the icing on the cake. A definite recommend.

When pulling up i was a little bit skeptical since the outside doesn’t look too promising. I was very suprised the interior is very nice and has a nice atmosphere. The food and presentation was amazing this has to be one of the best sushi places i’ve been to in maryland. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Have gone there for dine in and take out. Always a good meal. Small place, good crowd for dine in and takeaway. Charlie Roll and Squid 🐙 Salad were great. Free potstickers!

If you want to dine in, they have a surprising amount of seating. It's bigger inside than it seems from the outside. We got 5 kinds of sushi for our take out dinner. It was really good. If Sushi is your thing, this place will be where you're going for a long time! They have a 30pc platter with four different offerings, for 16.00. that's a crazy good deal. I'll get that one next time. OF COURSE, all foods are made when you order. It only took about 5 minutes from the time we ordered to getting the food. Super fast, and really tasty. DEFINITELY GOING BACK!! 👍👍👍.

Would always pass this spot and tell myself to check it out. I did. Was not disappointed, to say the least. It is not a large eat-in restaurant, and the coziness just adds to the order in which how everything is done without the rush is a plus to me. My order consisted of a tuna roll & tempura shrimp and enjoyed the freshness from beginning to end. Will return in the future.

Our regular place was closed so we ordered from j&y and regretted immensely. Rolls were puny and some didn’t have fish in it - see the picture. Seaweed salad was tasteless. Only ok part of order was the miso soup - that was actually good.

Used to be my favorite sushi spot! Hard turn into the lot.. take your time!!! Quaint atmosphere with comfy chairs. The plates used to come beautifully crafted with flowers, now you have to ask for ginger and wasabi. Years of great food (the veggie dumplings were dank) but the service could use some more training. Felt rushed to order then left to hang after. Topped off every water around me but my less than half glass. Which was a blessing in disguise cause ya thumb was inside the pitcher (I understand it’s easier to poor but i don’t trust ya hygiene)…. Because you put someone else’s dirty bowl on my table. Go for carryout.
