If you are in Nyíregyháza (why????) here you will learn what locals call "gyros". Yes it's that greek sandwich only that this is not greek. It's a sandwich though but what sandwich! Huge with fried meat grated cheese, bacon and all kinds of weird sauces. It's good. It's the local food. It's big and it's filling. Try it.

We have eaten two Giris (gyros in a crescent - specialty of Nyíregyháza) here. It was well priced, large amount, packed with all kind of goodies (you can exclude stuff you don't like) and tasted very good. Well recommended. The place is very small though so order/takeout is worth considering.
