Is that black mark on the ceiling mould? Why is everything sort of... dirty? That being said for the price, 1200NT for two queen beds the day after a big race in the area... we could’ve done worse. Beds were comfy AC worked fine. Though it is on the main road which means you’ll hear scooters all night. Definitely for the budget traveller.

This place's location is superb. Two branches of 7-11 stores are nearby. And This place is about 50 meters far to the main bus stop of the city (Sun moon lake bus stop). It's just located on the heart of the city. However, this place is not sophisticate place. It's located in the row house. I would say this place is suitable for anyone who is on a budget trip. Go out during the day and just need a shower and a bed to sleep. Low expectation only. My room type was a triple bed type with window. My room is just near the road in front of the hotel. So, I heard noises but during the nighttime (after 9 pm) it's quiet though. A bathroom is clean but old. A bathtub is very deep (uncommon style of bathtub). I needed to climb down and up when I took a shower. Not too bad though That's all from me. Good luck

Stayed there because there wasn't anything else available at the time. The room looked nothing like the picture. Service was bad. Room was smelly and bed was lumpy and left me feeling itchy for days afterwards. The only positive thing I can say about this awful place is the location is good.

room is small,but compare to the price I think it's worth it. And it's very close to the lake. the old man is very friendly,i think this hotel is not that bad.

Price and quality ratio is decent. The hotel is near the pier and bus stop, and many restaurants nearby. Its also next to a 7/11 so its very convenient. You can rent bikes, scooters here too. I don’t know why there are many bad ratings, but this hotel is better than described. The bathroom is very clean and has new modern tiles and toilet. Bed is not too hard nor too soft. There is also a fridge and tv, so it is pretty good.

I would not personally recommend this place at all as the picture shown in the photos uploaded by the hotel and the room which was given to us did not match at all. The owner at first showed us a gross room which did not even have ventilation/window and had humid smell that no one would tolerate.The price which they asked for the room they gave is not worth it. They do not understand English and cannot reciprocate. After spending a day and we returned back at around 12.30 they had closed the main door and we had to wake owner and tell them to open the door which ideally no hotel does and is very disappointing . Very poorly maintained rooms. I would say they are very money minded than being people friendly.

I would not recommend booking here. We ended up being so grossed out that we had to stay somewhere else last minute and they only gave us half of our money back. When we first walked in we thought it was a junk store or something. There were clothes hanging for sale outside. then the smell hits you. It doesnt get better up in the "room" which I would bet is illigally built. The floor feels like it is going to give way and its bouncy. The wood outside is rotten. The sheets did not feel clean. Everything was dusty ,dirty and gross. The outdoor bath has probably never been cleaned in it's life. The photos were super staged and nothing like the reality.

How to find the hotel: search for fruit shop in front of the hotel. They sell many kind of fruits, include the red banana. The room is good, although the sheet's a bit dirty. The bathroom is okay, clean, but the shower kinda difficult to handle because of the water leaks and the temperature sometimes changed itself. They offered breakfast for 25NTD (sandwich+drink) and put it on the door handle. Overall, it's a pleasant experience to have 3D2N-stay here.

Its a nice one comparing to the first one I stayed in Taipei, simple but fulfil all your needs for a night or two. its clean & convenient if you tour by bus, I checked a few other hotels along the street, cost wise, this is almost the best. it will be a good place to stay if the host could be more friendly & informative

Can't complain! The room is clean and very big. The hotel location as well is excellent just around the corner of the main bus stop and pier. Plenty of varieties to choose from the breakfast buffet. The bicycle trail is just about 5 mins walk behind. Will stay here again if we are going to visit Sun Moon lake.

Cheap price online but they will add fees. Poor service. No parking lot. They close the main gate early. Picture is different from actual room. Wifi is weak. No free breakfast although it is included in the list, cant understand the reason behind. My God. Just a waste of money. And you cant rest well, too noisy.
