Rebeca is a brilliant guide through a wine region that far surpasses California in authentic character. We met winery owners, makers, and workers. In addition to tasting fine wines we had paired snacks and delicious lunch. Mid October is harvest and traveling mid week was a perfect time to visit. ¡Vale!

A different experience in positive way May 2022 Rioja Like a Native all day private tour with Rebeca Perez was arranged by our Spanish friends for me and my wife. I had been to Rioja number of times over the years (first visit in early 1980s) and have enjoyed the Rioja wines all along the way. In the past, we visited large major wineries. This time Rebeca arranged visit to four small, family owned wineries where the family owners gave us a tour and guided us thru the background and history of their wines. This made the visit really special and very informative for us. I'd highly recommend Rebeca when planning a visit to the La Rioja region. To me who enjoys wines and visited most of the major wine regions in the world this day was different in a positive way.

Do not miss this experience! Hands down one of the best tours/excursions we have done. This wine tour through Rioja was informative and fun. It is a full day but it was well paced. Rebecca communicated regularly throughout the process. Our guide was Jose and he was the best. He made sure we had everything we needed. He was full of local information and took us to places we never would have known about or been able to see. We were able to see the winery his dad started that he now runs and try wines he had made. We also spent part of our afternoon at a small hillside town dating back to the very early days of Spain and enjoyed a great lunch and local experiences. It was truly a unique tour where we got to see everything from modern-day large-scale wineries, to the old traditional way of making wine. You will not be disappointed with this trip!

A Great Day with Rioja Like a Native Review of Rioja Like A Native Wine Tour We arranged a private, full-day wine tour for four of the Rioja wine region with Rebecca of Rioja Like a Native Wine Tour. The scheduling and arrangements were seamlesly easy due to Rebecca's input and experience. We altered the tour because we were staying in Laguardia (which was a stop on the tour) and opted for lunch in a small family winery instead. Our tour guide, Robert, was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable, friendly and a lot of fun. We visited (and had wine tasting at) a larger winery first and then two smaller, family-owned winery. Each stop was planned that we would learn varied and different aspects of the wine making process. The entire day was simply fantastic and we would highly recommend Rebecca and Robert to anyone considering a Rioja wine tour. Date of experience: June 2022

This was a really amazing wine tour. Rebeca picked us up in San Sebastian. It was great that she provided this car service for us. She planned a wonderful all day wine tour with a great lunch in Laguardia at Doria Blanca. Our tour guide Jose Maria was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English ! We visited three wineries, Marques De Riscal, Luis Camas and Valentin Pascual ( this was Jose Maria's family winery which made it very special.) Jose drove my wife and I all around, provided interesting info about the region and wine and stayed with all the time. I have been on a lot of wine tours, but nothing like this. I highly recommend you book a wine tour with Rebeca. It will be a very special experience you won't forget ! Yes, and we drank a lot of great Rioja wine !

Great time with Rioja Wine Tours! Our group of 3 had an excellent time on this tour. Rebecca and her husband are so friendly and knowledgeable of the area and wineries. The wineries on the tour were diverse and a perfect overview of Rioja and the food was amazing! Rebecca was very responsive while we were booking the tour, answered all of my questions quickly and arranged for separate pick up for us stay in Haro so we didn't have to go all the way to Logrono. She also took a ton of beautiful pictures of the day and sent them to me as a keepsake. Can't recommend this enough, you'll have a great time!

We loved how the tour took us to three different bodegas that all gave a unique glimpse of the wine making process in a reknowned region! Roberto was incredibly knowledgeable and fun, and made it a very personalized experience with his ability to provide helpful annecdotes as well as relate to our limited knowledge. The tastings were excellent and the tours were in depth leaving us with an exceptional base to take back home. In total, we had an incredible day at the bodegas to go along with the ever-present picturesque mountainous landscape. Five stars!

We had an amazing tour with Rebeca last week. Rebeca’s communication was excellent at point of booking, before, during and after the tour. Rebeca adapted the day because we love taking photos as well as drinking wine. We visited three very different wineries. In a small family run winery visited, we were lucky enough to taste wine straight from the barrels and were able to taste the difference the wood made to the wine. Our lunch stop was in a very pretty village and Rebeca took us on a guided walk after a superb tapas lunch (with more wine!). It was so hard to choose because all of the tapas looked superb. We had a brilliant day with Rebeca; her English was excellent and she was very friendly.

We had an amazing time last year on the Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa wine tour. Rebeca was phenomenal and incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with the region and wine-making. We were able to visit three very distinct wineries, each with their own beautiful details and historical nuances. The workers at each winery were all wonderful and the wine itself was, naturally, amazing. We also had a wonderful lunch at a family-owned and female-led winery - which I loved. Rebeca was happy to speak to me in Spanish as I am fluent but also was wonderful with my boyfriend and others who spoke English. She is a wonderful tour guide in both languages. She even gave us recommendations for places to eat in Logroño for the remaining days we spent there. Best wine tour we have ever done!! This was easily the greatest wine tour my fiance and I have ever done. I'm not going to divulge to much about the tour as I think it should be left as a surprise to everyone who does it. You will be amazed!! Rebeca was amazing to deal with in our entire communication leading up to the trip. She put together an amazing tour for us. Roberto was an amazing guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the Rioja region and my fiance and I had a great time talking with him about all things wine, Rioja and Spain in general. We hope at some point in the future we can make it back and book another tour with them.
