Evenings are the best time for a walk along the road bordering the river. The last Pushkaram festival saw the inauguration of the Godavari Nitya Harathi, a daily event at the Pushkar Ghat. We decided to stay on and witness it. Rivers are the lifeline of every civilisation, they are the source of our existence and hence, have come to be considered sacred and worshipped. The evening Harathi to these rivers is an important religious event in cities that have thrived on their banks. The Ganga aarti at Varanasi is one such event and now the Godavari Harathi at Rajamundry.

It's a very nice experience to watch Harathi to godavari at pushkar ghat. Pleasant feeling watch it. Well planned and well arranged by the Government. Many people are visiting Rajamandry particularly to watch godavari harathi. Performing well by pandithulu. My in-laws loved watching it. Overall Very pleasant feeling.

It is holy prayer to mighty river Godavari by offering sacred light (పవిత్ర గంగ హారతి). It is good time to watch this ceremony exactly from 6.30 to 700 pm on every day. And it will be live telecasted on Bhakthi TV.

Godavari Harathi was pleasant , it was so good here with the divine sounds . Explaination was good for the different type of Harathis while harathi was going on . Mind will be peaceful while the sounds are coming when the harathi was going on. Sound clarity was also good . Government officials should concentrate more on cleaniesss of this place .

Good Initiative. Good to worship but great if we respect and safeguard our rivers. Godavari is such a beautiful River every where expect at the Banks exploited by Humans. Been there, but not on time and missed the spectacle. Hope to be there on time the next I visit. The Railcum road bridge and the Old railway bridge are amazing. Lets hope the old railway bridge at this Pushkar ghat is renewed as tourist hub.

Great place to visit in the city Rajahmundry and one of the best places with a fabulous view and environment around the Godavari river all the people with all age groups visit this place for fresh air and great scenery and we can see all the 3 ancient bridge that’s the pride of Andhra Pradesh.

It's a great experience on the lines of River Ganga harathi. Started in 2015 Godavari pushkaralu. It was once a lifetime experience, esp during the pushkaram where they had this happening against the backdrop of Havelock and arch bridge and the great music of gongs and conches in the background. It was so holy, thanks to then dynamic CM Mr. CBN for his long sight. Now it's moved to the Pushkaram ghat venue for haratis.

The ghat is nice and good view of godavari river with barriage. Also haarathi is available daily at 6:30pm onwards. It was so pleasent to view Haarathi. Good place to take children and all age people, they can enjoy and spend time. Open 6:00pm and close at 9:00pm There is a lord Shiv Linga located on road and built beautifully and also arranged water 💦 for shiva.

As of Aug 8th 2021,there was no haarathi due to covid.The landscape of big river and two railway bridges one old and another new, clean ghat is the best place for relaxing and peace of mind.The river is so big and calm as it's very difficult to feel the direction of the flow of the water.Today sunset was most beautiful as the sun went down on the backside of the bridge leaving colourful red hues of the scattering light across the sky and how lucky we are to feel the transcendence of time for few seconds.
