I'm from Kerala,This is one of my favourite restaurant in tamilnadu. And this restaurant is located very near by karur bus stand.This is one of the fine dining to enjoy typical tamilnadu briyani and foods. We spent almost 1.5 hour there and taste is really good.This is a good place for biriyani, fried rice & other non veg dishes. Nice family dining area with great service. Had been here several times.Wow foods.. Real taste of south and north Indian dishes. Really delicious. You can get as per your required preparation too. Soo good... Price bit heavy. But worth of service. . ♿️ No wheelchair accessible entrance. 🛵🚗 Parking space is very limited

Very very very worst service ! Went for dinner at this restaurant with my relatives, the waiter took the order and served the food after half an hour. Not even keep the tumbler and water to drink. After some time we came to know that only one waiter is taking care of this whole restaurant. Even though there was no crowd, this fellow guy couldn't take care of us. Please improve the service. Im sure we will never come back to this restaurant.

Went for dinner... Around 7.40pm Limited menu.. Even briyani also not there... Only fried rice, noodles, chapathi Paratha...and very few starters... Tried Paratha with gravy ... Gravy below average taste... Must improve.... Grilled chicken 🐓 was good..

Ordered Pepper barbeque and Al faham. The barbeque was excellent and they marinated and cooked really well. Al faham was below average. The spiciness was missing and the marination was not done well. They are providing mayonnaise and Onion. Mayonnaise was really good.. I didn't expect this from Karur outlet. Packing was okay. But overall it was fine. I highly recommended. Price: Both are same price in Zomato 246 excluding tax and DC.

We ordered 2plates of fish finger. It was burnt and salty . Even chicken Lolipop was not nice. biriyani was nice.The starters were served at the end of the meal.

Waste.. Waste.. Waste..pls don't try anyone to this place. In my whole life I didn't had this type of service. Stater and main course received.. There is no plate served. Waited more than 10 minutes..fight and got service tray as plate to eat ..I never ever had this service before. Ordered fish finger its was sour ( it smell l like it's expire date is already over) no one from my family wanna try it. We return back. Over all poor experience Better to close to save there name.

Worst quality with fried foods. One dish called moru moru prawns is no where near to the photo shown. Too much oil and salty. When i informed that the manager was so adamant that it cannot be refunded or replaced. Never ever will visit this branch.

Not upto the expectation. 8.30 pm u will have very limited option like 65 Biryani, Empty Biryani or Egg Biryani. No roti item, only fried rice. Food taste was also average. Service was also very late and sometimes no one will be there to serve any other repeat of Raita. Highly Need improvement...

Home made tasty biryani. Quick service and Ac service hall.. Quantity served is less.. it's three fourth of the quantity served in any other hotels.. You also get free Butter milk.. Order is taken via mobile.

First of all sorry to say this Dindigul Thalapakkatti!!! Had a worst experience in a restaurant for the first time. Giving 2 stars as I don't want to be more specific. I have visited your karur branch to have dinner with my family around 7 PM which I believe the decent start time for dinner? There was NO Briyani's, NO Grill starters and received a response as NO for few other starters as well at 7 PM is very strange and don't understand the point of having the restaurant without many popular/regular food items, that too from the big franchise!! Then I have ordered few items which they had readily available but I have received them only after 20 minutes!! Requested for additional mutton gravy for parotta but received that only after I had my parotta (may be after 10 minutes - I have asked the server for the reason for delay and he said they will prepare and give the gravy fresh when customer asks them which is very strange!!).

Worst customer service.. ordered the food and waited for more than 45 mins but the server is arguing that we need to wait as ordered placed 15 mins back... also ac not working.. we have to had food in full sweat... Pls dont suggest for anyone

We chose this restaurant, as it was in walkable distance from the lodge. Had dinner on Thursday night. Pros. Good ambience. Rest of them are Cons. #1. Biriyani taste was below average. Atleast to preserve the brand / traditional name, serious consideration is needed to revise the taste. #2. Cost - this is another core issue. Just because ambience is good, we can't accept the price as it is. #3. Health : my wife and I had stomach pain the very next day morning. Luckily there was no loose motion. #4. Quantity & taste: For the cost, the offered quantity was less. I found it is way lesser than the quantity offered in cities like Bangalore. We liked only mormor chicken. Except that rest of them (lollipop) tasted average. #5. Availability: while ordering the biriyani, we have been told chicken, mutton biriyani is available. In the very next minute it changed. Traditional chicken biryani was not available. So we were forced to choose chicken fried (dummy) biriyani. Happened to see brand value slogans before leaving the restaurant. Well it's your choice. Spend sometime to improve the taste and other important aspects.

We had lunch today at karur thalapakatty restaurent. The taste of biriyani was excellent. We went with our family of 10 person. The service was worst. They gave only four plates to us and told there is no further plates. So we ate the food with served plated and pot. In our lifetime we did't experienced such a worst service. There were 6 AC but nothing was working, it was just a showcase piece to inform public that this restaurent is airconditioned. The highlight is for the entire restaurent only two person was taking order. I wonder why Thalappakatti restaurent is so stingy in appointing labour to do the service.

Last Sunday we order 100 quantity of the biriyani from this shop karur Thalapakatti. It's very worst one we tasted from this shop .Our few of the guest throne the full food in the dust bin.even though empty biriyani like Kiska also very bad. We spent around 33 K . Their made through vendor I think not from original Thalapakatti. They have to learn how to make biriyani from others will be better future for karur Shop. We will never think again this karur Thalapakatti .

Cleanliness is the main issue. AC wasn't working and there was a foul sleep all over the place. Food also can't be compared with Chennai branches. Very disappointed

Actually this one was just an okay okay biriyani. Just like a normal one which we used to get from our biriyani shops nereby. Didn't got the taste of that I got from the actual Dindigul shop. Also some of the items found really over rated compared to the real one. Service was really good. But need to be more good in food.

The ambiance could have been well maintained. The food tastes good but there lacks a little cleanliness i got my plate where there were already a grain of Biryani rice found.

I am sharing my today dine in experience and including takeaway foods' reviews.Chicken koththu patotta(as a take away) is not chicken parotta. Puli kolamba vechchu koththu panni yemaathureengala?don't try to fool people.if this can't be taken care immediately I can go to any extent.i need an answer and the remedial action taken,if any ,after viewing this feedback comment.Also only 2 chicken pieces in that(very very small like a groundnut). Also fish fingers(dine in (converted as take away)) is not fresh,some fowl smell and also seems like it is not fresh making it uncomfortable while eating. Overall service and ambience is good, but compromising in food quality and fooling people is not at all fair. Sadly disappointed .......Also ventilation is not suffice in open hall ....much more to say but overall disappointed.....kindly do not prefer koththu parotta and fish finger..and I do not guarantee other dishes as well as I didn't tried all...one more point to highlight, the waiting time is quite long ,surely it will be 30+minutes...

I had lunch at Thalapakatti KARUR around 1.30pm yesterday (15.11.2022), I experienced the Worst service. The restaurant employees convincing the customers to sit in normal area stating tat AC is not working inside family room, unfortunately it’s not true & I am confused how come Thalapakatti management not supervising these silly activities. Quality of food is not same as other branches. I felt something missing in ingredients here. To be specific they served Old Thalcha,Al faham not upto the mark and chicken lollipop not served hot. BEWARE OF THIS KARUR BRANCH AND AVOID IT FOR YOUR COMFORTABLE DINE IN EXPERIENCE.

Absolutely loved the food…the hostess who took our order gave us great recommendations for starters and also came to check on us during the course of the meal. Highly recommended. Must visit.

Taste is average only. Quantity also very less.. For the amount for briyani (Rs.290 somethg) we are paying it is not worth. Kindly improve your quantity of food and pieces in Briyani....

Mutton Biriyani taste is little low when compared to Bangalore MG Road branch. But the quantity is high and overall experience with other dishes is awesome.

Enjoyed a night dinner here. Pros: Food tastes are satisfactory. Easy to access from Karur bus station. Rates are reasonable. My suggestions over their cons: Wash room tap must be changed or water flow rate has to be increased. It is mandatory to refill hand wash near basin.
