I would like to appreciate to the staff for such amazing program, like balinese music, making coconut oil and etc. To all 3 yoga teachers, they are amazing!!! I loved yoga and will practice. Teddy, Krishna, Made, Adi, Yosi, Dodi, Yupita and others( I forgot their names) you are the best team guys❤️ I will recommend to everyone.

This retreat was a beautiful experience. Dewi the owner and her staff took such good care of us. They anticipated our needs and made our time there so relaxing and magical. We had five different yoga teachers and each one was so knowledgeable and brought different styles and philosophies to each class. We had several excursions to add to the cultural experiences. We had a Balinese music class and played the gamelan with a teacher who was so wonderful. We trekked through a local rice field and learned so much. I have a whole new appreciation for rice. We went to a magnificent waterfall in the jungle area and also went to a beach. The beach was one the the best beaches I have been to! Black sand, perfect waves for playing in. I could have stayed there forever. Balitrees organized everything so well and it was such a wonderful way to spend time in Bali. This experience was a perfect balance of adventure, yoga, meditation and relaxing.

I had the best time at Balitrees! It is so great to connect with nature, connect with other people and connect with yourself. The staff is so nice and do everything so that you feel comfortable and happy. It never gets boring as there are so many activities you can join while still having the possibility to get a massage or relax by the pool. The food war really good and they adjust it to every need (vegan, vegetarian, no salad). I recommend anyone to do it, no matter the age, gender or where you come from and it is nice for beginners and pros at yoga. I will definitely come back!

One of the most beautiful places in Bali to stay for a yoga retreat. The staff made the process of setting everything up beforehand so easy- always kind and accommodating. Once you arrive you’re met with a breathtaking view of rice terraces with a perfect pool facing it. All of the staff treat you like family. I was a little sick in the beginning of my stay, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was OK. The yoga on the beach was my favorite activity and the ride over was nice being able to see more of Tabanan. Every single meal was so delicious. Finally, I needed transportation to Ubud which they were able to arrange so quickly at the last minute. My stay here was truly a dream. Can’t wait to bring my friends and family!

Balitress Yoga Retreat provided the ideal sanctuary for my SMB - Spirit, Mind, and Body. Nestled in a secluded area, it offered a perfect escape for relaxation and self-discovery. The staff's friendliness and accommodation, coupled with affordable rates, created a welcoming atmosphere. Immersing myself in Balinese traditions was a unique and enriching experience. The comfortable housing and diverse, diet-friendly food options added to the overall sense of well-being. The daily schedule, featuring yoga, meditation, music, dance, massage, tours, and poolside relaxation, catered to a holistic rejuvenation. Interacting with like-minded individuals from around the world led to memorable adventures and connections. While the journey might be a bit costly, the value for money at Balitress is undeniable. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pause to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and prioritize self-care. The retreat's reasonable pricing ensures your investment goes a long way in nurturing your holistic well-being.

Balitrees was an ideally tailored yoga retreat for me. Changing trainers presented varying challenges with each exercise. All agreed appointments were ALWAYS kept. Fantastic, secluded location and surroundings with a view of rice terraces. Definitely recommended. Come back. Helmut 2/2024.

I had the best time! The staff are super friendly & welcoming. My Homestay was beautiful. The food was great, never left hungry. The views absolutely breathtaking. I made really good friends with people from the retreat. Everyone are so welcoming and nice. I loved the fact that it’s a quiet village; away from tourism & busy crowds. I’d definitely recommend coming here.

I have been at four yoga retreats in Bali and Balitrees is definitely my favourite!!! It’s a very calm and relaxing place approximately 2hrs drive from Ubud in a very small, local village. The people in the village, as well as in the retreat were so lovely and genuine, I would have loved to stay forever. The retreat, as well as the yoga spot were so beautiful and the food was amazing every day. The perfect location to calm down and unwind. I especially loved the yoga classes with local Balinese teachers, which allowed me to learn on a much more deeper level about the practice and culture. The only recommendations I had would be to stay directly at the retreat Center, because even though my host at the home stay was very lovely, it was quite “far” away from the retreat Center. Also when leaving you might consider taking a driver from the retreat only until Tabanan (which is 200k) and get a grab from there to wherever you want to go, because for me the price to go back to Ubud directly from the Center with a private driver from them would have been double the price that I paid on grab to get there. And unfortunately the app doesn’t work so far out :)

Great time, great location, and fun excursions! Great way to meet people and relax, and see a different side of Bali while stretching. Staff was very friendly and they have laundry services which makes things so much easier too! Plus they have some really cute dogs that sometimes join you for the yoga sessions! Loved the experience!

I had a really incredible time at Balitrees. The retreat center is in the middle of nature and far from tourism in a small village. The staff and villagers are extremely hospitable and kind. The yoga teachers are very experienced and design the yoga sessions tailored to beginners and advanced users. The rooms are very new and super clean. I felt very comfortable there and got exactly what I wanted. If I book another retreat in Bali, I will definitely come here again.

Balitrees is a truly amazing spot. I fell in love with it the moment I arrived. The view and the location are very special. In the middle of the ricefields surrounded by small traditional Villages, they offer great activities such as tracking, Balinese music class, making of the traditional offerings, visiting a waterfall. The yoga class twice a day never gets boring as there are so many different qualified teachers everyone having their own style. The treatments and massages are of the same great quality Then the food! The variation of the local, healthy dishes and the amount of is perfect. Definitely recommended, I feel lucky to have discovered Balitrees

Balitrees retreat was an authentic Balinese yoga retreat, situated in a peaceful and very picturesque village. The yoga sessions were great, run by several yoga teachers, offering different types of yoga and styles. I always looked forward to all the meals which were healthy, cooked daily using some local produce. There was also a good mixture of morning and afternoon activities. I spent three weeks there, and time passed very quickly. Big thanks to all the Balitrees staff and yoga teachers. This was an amazing experience!

Balitrees is a hidden gem amongst the chaos of Bali. About 50 kilometres (approx. 2 hours) from the airport in Denpasar, this retreat affords a unique paradise experience, tucked between rice paddies and jungle. Dewi and the Team at Balitrees welcome you like family from the moment you arrive and they are committed to providing service to support your every need. The meals are cooked fresh daily and there are daily excursions (including cultural activities both on-site and off-site) to break up your day between the morning and afternoon yoga sessions, should that take your fancy. Otherwise, you can soak in the small on-site pool or bask in the sun alongside the pool or rest in the shade or book yourself in for a modest spa treatment. An 8 day retreat is ample...but should your time be limited, even 3 or 4 days would provide the body with a healthy dose of calm and relief. Great service, great location, great value for money and all the simple comforts one needs for a bit of self-care. I certainly hope to be able to return for another retreat down the track. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I had the best stay at Balitrees, I really recommend it! Most authentic place with Very lovely, kind staff and community, the rooms were perfect and I had everything I needed. The food was delicious and catered for vegans! We had different cultural experiences each day and I learnt so much about the Balinese culture. We did different types of yoga twice a day and there was no pressure to do anything you couldn’t do, very relaxed people and place. Wish I could have stayed longer!! Thank you to the lovely staff for making my stay perfect! Xx

Balitrees was such a friendly way to ground after a long flight. Right away you will find yourself immersed in this postcard worthy lush green scenery of rice fields and palm trees in a quaint traditional village. The staff of the retreat centre is engaging and always knows if you are about to miss dinner or your massage appointment! The facilities are clean, cool and inviting. The food locally sourced, deliciously prepared, and there is plenty of it. The treatments provided by experienced therapists and the yoga perfect to keep your energy flowing. Balitrees will inevitably elevate your spirits!
